According to the program provided for this event, Valley Mall was named back in 1964. Before that it was known as Main Street. Celebrating the revitalization with the groundbreaking for Norms Restaurant enhancing the shopping and dining experience comes the unveil the renaming of the Valley Mall to Main Street. The construction will add 179-space smart parking lot with up-to-date information on the number of spaces available. Hopefully this brings more residents back to this area. Change is always good but it will take time to get all the signs changed over.

Camellia Square is small to medium corner plaza in Temple City. I say small because from the…read moreoutside, it doesn't look like there is much, but once you drive into the plaza, there is more to explore. Two of the buildings each have 2 floors. Third building is one floor. It does have a great selection of businesses. I've only been here a few times for Meet Fresh, Summer Rolls, and Shibulaya. I have yet to check out some of the other biz. I would love to return to dine at all the restaurants that start with letter B, Sunmerry Bakery, and all that starts with letter T. We came to enjoy the kids club, it's held around the center between the stores around the playground outside. The event is free and doesn't cost you to attend! It was a really hot day so luckily there were tents out for some shade. They also offered free water and lemonade (courtesy from vendors around) and a raffle at the end if you register during the event. There's a pond fountain containing goldfish and turtles which is fun to watch and have the kids watch as well. When you're hungry or bored, there's plenty of shops around the area to explore as get something to eat and drink. The best places would probably be the food court since it has the most variety of restaurants but there's also nearby restaurants such as noodles, hot pot, kbbq, and meet fresh with sweets and beverages. Restrooms at the promenade are family based and gendered, located behind California pizza kitchen.

Tons of parking available. They have some fun shops and great eateries such as Trader Joe's, Kohl's, Panera Bread, Ike's (by the way, they just opened 3 months ago), Chase Bank, and so much more. From the main street of Huntington Drive, it doesn't seem that huge... maybe it's because the shops are deep in and not closer to the street... who knows. Now that Ike's is here, I'll be visiting it more often when I'm in the Arcadia area. This shopping center is actually located in the city of Monrovia (neighbor of Arcadia) which I don't visit frequently except for driving through it as I'm leaving Arcadia on surface street. Huntington Drive is a long stretch through several cities and it just has so many plazas and shopping centers on its course. I actually enjoy my drive through LOL. Thank you!
