Office experience-NOT GOOD, FAIL! I was late for a 2:30pm appointment & had to be there at 2:10 or 2:15. It was supposed to be a 25 minute drive but it took me almost an hour due to traffic & road construction. It also took another 10 minutes or so before I got called to the front desk, the line was too slow. THEIR FRONT DESK SYSTEM NEEDS TO IMPROVE. I was already stressed out because I fasted, was very thirsty, was in pain & was late. I don't think a patient who needs to have an important ultrasound done would purposely be late for this appt. The front desk person who helped me, right away "SCOLDED" me for being late. I was already on edge to begin with. As I was explaining why I was late even if I DID GIVE myself plenty of time, 1 hour, to get there at 2:10pm she took on this condescending manner towards me & continued to lecture me as if I were a child. She said "that's why you have to give yourself a plenty of time for the appointment." DUH!!! I live 15 miles away, gave myself an hour or so to get there. In short, appointment was cancelled. Unfortunately, sometimes s**t happens! I prepared for it, I fasted, didn't have any water & certainly did not foretell that there would be road construction & traffic. Maybe next time I will give myself 2 hours to get there. Also, I worked as a front desk receptionist too & in customer service before & the attitude she had was/is absolutely not acceptable. I was not able to get her name because I was very upset. She was the young asian girl/lady with long black hair. She needs to be very careful & considerate to patients. She has no idea what the patients are going through. I am not asking for extra understanding, patience & consideration. I am asking for respect. I am always understanding & patient with front desk people like her because I know the nature of their job. I have never complained nor was I ever rude to any medical front desk receptionist ever! This lady or this girl had attitude & was condescending to me. I called her out & she said she wasn't condescending, just explaining. Yeah right! I just wanted to get out of there right away so I was not able to get her name. If she does not understand the nature of her job, the nature of the industry she's in, what it takes to deal with PATIENTS, perhaps she needs to undergo more training or get another job. She is dealing with people that may have a lot of pain AND or serious medical conditions, the last thing we need is to be scolded. I am not going back there and deal with rudeness. 1 star because their front desk system is/was INEFFECTIVE and since I was not able to interact with anyone else but her & IT WAS NOT GOOD. read more

Had a MRI of the brain. Check-in was a bit slow. Once admitted everything went smoothly. Changed into gown. Was admitted into MRI machine right away. Took about 30 minutes max. No problem. They put music on if you like. Technician said I was an excellent patient. Just stay calm and relaxed goes by faster than expect. Results were sent to my doctor that day. All images were clear. My images were available in day or two for pickup. I would come here again for another MRI if I had to. read more

I give "ZERO STARS" for the service provided to me 2/26/26. How do you schedule a patient appointment at 7am, get patient reminder of expectations day prior, I arrive before 7 am all prepared, checks in, yet the technician/employee arrives LATE 40 minutes later to perform her job and still has the audacity to walk in slowly chatting on her cell having a personal conversation that she just got to work!!! I do NOT recommend this place to anyone! I asked for a backup ultrasound technician, and they had NO ONE!!! They showed they don't care about us the customers!!! I prepared! Notified my job! Fasted! Skipped all my AM medications to avoid jeopardizing my ultrasound! It took less than 10 minutes but I ended up leaving this UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE feeling SO WEAK, DRAINED AND UPSET!!!!!!! I asked for office manager to address this but at this point it doesn't matter!!! It's a given they DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS' TIME/EFFORTS!!! ALL the STRESS THIS OFFICE PUT ME THROUGH! It also took me an ADDITIONAL HOUR extra than my usual time to get to work! I had to explain to my job reason for my arriving later than expected!!! This office is SOOOO INCONSIDERATE. I just read other reviews and they better NOT BE MESSING UP WITH ULTRASOUND RESULTS & BILLING!!! I WOULD HATE to do this all over again!!! I really like this place. The receptionist was super cool on the phone when I called to see if Drs orders had been faxed, easy and quick to make appointment. They also called a day before as a reminder. Went in for CT, the guy explained everything, made sure i was comfortable and if I had questions or concerns. Quick and so much easier to get an appointment and didnt have to wait compared the imaging place that's always brought up by Drs office. Ill go here every time. Thank you. Went here recently to get an MRI. Everyone friendly here especially Dave who does the imaging and also made me a copy (disk) of my image. They said they'd have the actual report in a couple of days. I verified that they will send both the copy of my disk and the report to my doctor and I was assured they would. Went back a couple of days later to pick up my report and once again verified that they did in fact send both the CD and report to my doctor and I was told that they did, so made an appointment with my doctor to go over the results so we could plan a treatment for my back pain. My wife and I both went to my appointment to make sure we understood everything but when they went to find my disk and report it was nowhere to be found. The doctor's assistant called Arcadia MRI to ask them where it was and he was told that they couldn't sent it! WHAT? If I had know that I would have brought my own CD and copy of the report. So two of the women there both told me it was sent yet apparently had no idea whether it was or not so just said it was. We went to my doctor's appointment for nothing and now had to reschedule when I was hoping to start treatment. So just a bit of advise for anyone going here. MAKE SURE EITHER YOU GET A COPY OF WHAT YOU NEED OR CALL YOUR DOCTOR'S OFFICE BEFORE GOING TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE IT. PS...This also happened to my wife at Arcadia MRI. and when she went to her doctor's appoint to go over everything they hadn't sent it to him either. COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. You must call in advance to book an appointment or you risk waiting for an hour or two if you do walk ins. Don't say I didn't warn you. I booked an appointment three weeks in advance and I was in and out of there within 20 minutes. I heard someone complaining that it was really slow, and when I asked her if she just did a walk in, she said yes. She said she had been waiting for over an hour already. By the time I was done, she was still waiting. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is decent. Honestly, this little medical plaza is popping all the time, so parking can be a bit tricky here. However, if you just circle a couple of times, someone is bound to leave. Lol Parking spaces are also a bit small, so be careful. Staff: The staff here are very kind, friendly, and efficient. The establishment is very clean, neat, and tidy. Had a CT/MRI Appointment at 8 am, showed up a bit early, the receptionist was very nice and helpful, had my paperwork ready, signed I , they took me in was in and out in less then 10 minutes, very efficient. I had a bad experience here at Arcadia Imaging with a billing issue. I originally had my MRI appt with another imaging center and was told my co-pay was $200. I called AMI and provided my insurance info; the rep told me I have no copay based on my insurance. The employee was very helpful and also advised me to call back one week before the MRI to finalize everything. I called again and spoke with another employee who confirmed that there is no co-pay. So, I canceled my appt with another center and made appt with AMI. Now two weeks after my MRI, I received a bill of $380 for the MRI. I called AMI and the rep told me that it was my co-pay. I asked if she could transfer me to the billing dept to double check, and she said no billing dept & that is the cash price. She insistently said:" that is your cash price." When I asked, did you bill the insurance? How much is my deductible, co=pay? then she could not give me a clear answer. That is very rude and unprofessional. I have had my exams done yearly for the past 15 years and this is the first time I asked to pay cash price for the imaging service. I wish they could tell me that upfront or straightforwardly before my MRI, then I probably will go to the other imaging center or schedule it for next year or so as the MRI is nonurgent. I am very disappointed with the customer service. read more

I had an awful experience today in this office, I had orders for an X-ray due to excruciating back pain. And although there was no one waiting in the waiting room I was told that there was a long waiting list and I'd have to come back 3 hours later. I don't live close by and I drove myself, I could barely walk and yet I was told to come back. There were 2 people behind me and they were walk-ins like myself yet they weren't asked to come back. I was forced to sit and wait in my car for 3 hours. My legs were numb from sitting in my car and my back was hurting so bad I look at my watch I still had 30 minutes before my appointment, I got out anyway and made my way to the Imaging place. I go in and I was taken to the back right away when I questioned the technician why I couldn't just have waited in the waiting area. He said I could have absolutely waited, this made me so angry. The Asian young lady was wrong in telling me I had to leave and come back later. I could have waited and had my X-rays taken as soon as someone became available which is what I'm sure people did the 3 hours I waited in my car. Shame on your facility. read more

Highly recommend if you have any MRI and Imaging needs. My doctor gave me a CT Scan order but I was unable to get any appointments in the Alhambra area. I was thankful that my coworker told me about this location because they were able to squeeze me in for a same-day appointment when I called. The girl sitting in the front already had my paperwork ready when I arrived and made my check-in fast and simple. After filling out some simple paperwork, I was guided to the waiting area where they have a sofa, tv, water & coffee. I was surprise when the technician came for me within minutes and was done with my CT Scan within minutes. Really want to thank ARCADIA MRI & IMAGING CENTER for making my visit short and sweet. Be sure to ask to pay your insurance deductable during your visit. Otherwise you will get the bill in the mail along with a return envelope. If you pay via check using the return envelope they will send your payment back to you along with a $10 additional return fee stating they only take cash or credit card. Why include a payment envelope of you don't take checks? Such a dick move. I swear this is a scam for extra money. Also when they return your check they attach a yellow sticker with instructions to pay online that were not included with the original bill. read more

I went here for an MRI because their machine offers higher quality images and is better for claustrophobic patients like myself. I arrived on time, front office was very efficient with check in, and the MRI process went smoothly and quickly. The person who administered my MRI was very accommodating with my claustrophobia issues and let me see what being inside the MRI machine would feel like before starting the full exam just to make sure I would be able to handle it, which I really appreciated. Everything was very sanitary given COVID and everything. Cash pricing was very reasonable given the image quality they're able to do here, it was actually cheaper than other places I called who had older machines. Would recommend this place. read more

They did excellent job. However they asked for $10.00 to give me CD for the MRI. That was very cheap. If you will charge several hundreds dollars for the MRI, that should include the CD. That is exactly like when you order a meal in a restaurant and they charge you for the cost of the plate to put the food in it !!!!!. It was very disappointed. It is amazing how you ruin a good job with a very small thing ? How many CDs per month they produce? How much it cost them? They invested in the AWESOME Siemens MAGNETOM Verio 3T with the 70cm opening which they brag about on their website and are hot to use. But, on the whole, it's been hit and miss at times. The female Xray tech was really abrupt when I went for some body parts, so I specifically asked for someone else the next time. They formerly had an open MRI with such a horrible resolution that it didn't even read damage to my ankle that I had been complaining about. I had no idea it was so bad until I had the same body part scanned on the 3T machine 4 years later. The low resolution problem caused me a few years of needless waiting for some work comp benes that were actually due me and resulted in me not getting medical treatment because it looked like there was nothing to treat - despite the fact that I was in a lot of pain that continues to the present. They have since gotten rid of that open MRI machine, and even their 1.5T to instead use their 3T. It's like the resolution with photos. Why would you use something with just 1 megapixel (or less) when you can have 3? Apparently they got another kind of MRI with even lower resolution. I can't recommend a resolution lower than 1.5 to anyone-even when using contrast. New 3T tech is totally preferable to getting an MRI arthrogram which involves being x-rayed while they insert the contrast dye to your joint - plus the MRI on top of that. if you have multiple body parts, the x-rays really add up. They still don't have an MD radiologist on staff at the location if you are claustrophobic and need a sedative. And some doctors absolutely refuse to write a prescription for that. (Which is what I'm dealing with at the present time with a new ortho.) So frustrating. But, on the plus side, they did let me look at their new 3T and even invited me to hop in for a ride so I would feel more comfortable when I came in after visiting the chiropractor. I want to write 5 star reviews, I really do, but I have to be honest about the overall capabilities and overall experience through the years. I also recently discovered that they are not on my insurance plan, so it looks like we are breaking up. Although, their copays were actually on the reasonable side and the front desk staff is very professional. Luckily, this isn't the only 3T around, though it may well be the best one. But you really have to look hard to find them. Just know that if a radiology center has the technology, they are going to brag about it on their website. read more

Took my child to get MRI today for the second time since the MRI taken few days ago by a different tech did not come out clear. This time the tech David took his time explaining to my 11 year old daughter not to move even the slightest. He was so patient waiting for my daughter to stop crying before he poceeded. Nice gentle words from David did it. This time the pictures came out nicely. A 5 star to david and the friendly receptionists. I gave a 4 star due to the first tech's acceptable but somewhat rushed service. read more

I've had MRI's and CT scans here. Their equipment is top notch as I learned from originally going to a facility with older scanners. The older scanners didn't detect my problems. The staff here are very friendly. I much prefer this center to a large, hospital based imaging center. read more

Arcadia MRI & Imaging Center offers poorest of the poor in services. Customer service personal, X-ray and MRI technicians treat patient careless horrible way as well as hours long waiting even though you made appointment. So avoid at all cost to this place. There are so many imaging center with a good patient care are in the area and around the arcadia city. You are not using their imaging services for free and your health insurance pay for it so you deserved to be offered a great caring service. In my case, I had walked in for the x-ray on Nov. 16th and one of the gust service ladies told me that x-ray machine was down for the day and told me to call back on the 19th for the machine's operational condition. Called in on 19th but the machine was still inoperable. Then I left my contact number to call when the machine is available. No one ever return my call and the week entered the Thanksgiving Holidays. The following week I called in to inquire about the machine if it's still down and walk-in is o.k. and the customer service lady said walk-ins are welcome. Then later I called in again for the office hours, a male customer service answered and took my personal info and contact number, and told me that someone will call you back to schedule appointment which is required to get x-ray taken. It looks like I had wasted almost 2 weeks and have to re-schedule again to get my x-ray taken. I was like what's going on with their policy and procedure I mean one person said walk-in welcome but another person said a schedule must be made. If you are in my situation you'll be so pissed off as I am right now. So once again, don't ever try to get service from Arcadia MRI & Imaging Center unless you want to experience a horrible situation like mine. So avoid, avoid, avoid at all cost, period. read more
