I hope a manager reads my Yelp review. I'm in need of a mammogram, but I wanted to inquire about the type of mammogram machine that doesn't compress your breasts. I'm having discomfort, so all I wanted to know was if this facility had a newer type of machine. I called yesterday, and a recording came on and asked that I leave a message. I did, but no one called me back. So, I tried again this morning to get an answer. A very rude, abrupt lady came on the phone. I was very polite and asked if they had the newer type of machine. Her response was. How would I know that? I had already asked her to connect me to a manager, nurse, or someone who could answer my question. She said again, "I can't answer your question." I said that I was aware of that, so would she please connect me to someone who could answer my question. She became very rude and said, " It's a mammogram, nothing else." I said, "Would you please connect me to someone who can answer my question. That was the 3rd time I asked her. I was waiting and waiting on hold. She contacted me to another scheduling employee. I am unhappy with this location because they try to scam you, claiming you don't meet your deductible, and make you pay the deductible amount upfront to see the radiologist. I paid $794 out of pocket, even though I have health insurance. After a week, I realized none of that amount went towards my deductible. I called my insurance, and together we contacted the radiology billing department, which determined they owe me a refund. Ladies, please ensure you find a location that doesn't demand so much upfront payment. This establishment cares more about money than your health. I have been here a few times, and this office is wonderful. It's very organized, and everyone is professional, kind, and welcoming. Most recently, I had an amazing ultrasound tech named Zazmin, who had a very calming presence and immediately put me at ease. I went to the facility to have a pelvic ultrasound, the technician asked me to open my legs widely and I couldn't do it because I have severe arthritis, she canceled the test. When I went home I thought about it, and remembered that I used to have pelvic ultrasound every year and never I had to open my legs widely, the technician obviously was a good one and had experience , same location but all new people, very young and no experience in how to treat elderly patients . read more

My thoughts and feelings align with many others about Arcadia Radiology Women's Imaging. They're extremely unprofessional, rude, and unorganized. I wish I could say even a single positive thing about this place, but I cannot. From the initial appointment to the actual procedure to the rescheduling phone call because my six-month follow-up appt was cancelled at the LAST possible minute, have all been subpar, anxiety-inducing experiences. As females, you'd think they'd consider that being in their position requires a certain sensitivity to the tasks at hand. Most of us don't want to be there and/or are experiencing severe anxiety, if not on the verge of a panic attack. I sincerely hope that, should the day come, they're not treated or spoken to the way many of the so-called professionals in that office speak to and treat other women. No woman under that sort of stress should walk into an uninviting, hostile environment like the one at Arcadia Radiology Women's Imaging. I had two appointments scheduled yesterday at this location, for a mammogram and an ultrasound. The day before, I had received an email to complete a checklist with all of the pre-appointment paperwork and required documentation. No where did it mention that I needed to bring previous mammogram images with me to the appointment. When I checked in I was told that I had provided all of the required information. They called me back after 15 minutes, and had me change into a gown. After waiting another 15 minutes, the radiology technician called me into the room and proceeded to tell me she could not complete my mammogram because they had not received images from my previous exam. I told her I had written reports from all my past mammograms, but she said that was not sufficient. I don't understand why their office staff did not inform me of this when they confirmed my appointment the day before, or at the very least - when I checked in. Why did they have me change out of my clothes and wait 30 minutes just to tell me that I had to reschedule my appointment? This is very unprofessional and so frustrating. I spoke to another patient while I was at their office, and she complained to me about her long wait time. They told her to arrive at 11:40 for a 12:00 appointment, and she was still waiting when I left at 12:30, along with 6 other patients - and only one technician available. I recommend that you find another location for your mammograms unless you don't mind long wait times and being treated unprofessionally. read more

There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open, but at limited capacity. They are also sanitizing in between patients. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. They do not allow pets in their establishment unless it is a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty massive. However, this massive parking lot is shared by several other doctor's offices. So, the lot does get full very quickly. If the lot is full, park on the street. Staff: The staff here are very efficient, professional, and kind. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum. read more

I am not sure what her problem was but being extremely rude in a place where women are already going through so much mental turmoil is not a good look on the facility, the office was filled with clients and for her to blatantly avoid my questions, continuously disregard what I'm saying and to do so while I'm already having a difficult time processing what is going on with my own health is beyond unprofessional. I personally request coming here I have been here 3x and this was just so heartbreaking. Let's start by saying: if you are reading this you are either ready to get your breasts examined, squeezed, pushed and pressed, and swung all around town, or you already have been there and done that. We are all on edge. Let's be honest. We are worried. We are scared. Sometimes, we leave relieved and other times, simply sad based on what we are told or waiting for. What makes a difference in this experience is how you are received at the front desk, how you are welcomed and greeted. Pretty simple, as it sets the tone for everything else. Perhaps even quieting the worry that we all might be feeling. This certainly could be improved, it is just average. A kind greeting, a "how are you today?" or even "welcome" can change an experience. Seats are taped off for COVID distancing, so there are 3 seats total in the waiting area. Not many considering how many people are ready to get their exams done. On the TV is a redundant broadcast talking about breast cancer, the importance of screening, the types of machines being used, and the technology behind it. I don't know about anyone else in that waiting room, but I could have used some soothing music, fake fish swimming in a fake aquarium on TV, anything except the continual discussion about cancer. That's just me. And if you really want to reach your audiences, it certainly needs to be in more than one language. I opted to wait out in the hallway until I was called in. Too crowded without anywhere to stand comfortably and a door potentially hitting you along the way. The technicians are good, knowledgable, and efficient. For call backs, you are given the information before you leave. This is super helpful, especially if the news is positive. Overall, Arcadia Radiology Women's Imaging gets the job done. It took almost 45 min to make an appt, and then to find out the day of the appt 2 hours before my appt they call to cancel because one of their irresponsible employees decided not to show up for work as the person said to me she said the tech didn't show up for work!! Wtf! So why don't you guys have an on call tech for dumb ssa Employees like that Tech! Us women wait so long and are so anxious with our health concerns all for you to call and cancel or "reschedule " for a further date!? Inconsiderate office. I've been here the past few years for my annual exam. Never really had an issue with getting an appointment within about 2 weeks. The front desk and the technician who does the actual mammogram exam are all friendly. Recently I visited during Covid, and I was able to fill out all my paperwork beforehand online. I arrived at my appointment and text them I was here while waiting in my car, they will text reply to come in when it's ready. In the waiting area, I appreciated that most chairs are blocked out for distancing. All the workers had masks, face shields, and gloves on. I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes. I got a letter result in about a week and I was able to see my scans online as well. read more

New ownership with online appointment booking and received online test results. The staff was nice and friendly. The changing area is nice and clean with available half gowns. I haven't written a review for any business on Yelp, but my Mom's terrible experience in the Arcadia office has led me to write my first review on Yelp. Initially, I helped my Mom schedule a mammogram and ultrasound in May. A day before the appointment, I got a phone call that it had to be cancelled as they claimed that they didn't receive the proper approval from her insurance group. Ok fine, I gave them the benefit of doubt. A day later, I called the insurance group and was told that she had proper authorization approval. Too late to keep the same appointment as I had agreed to cancel it a day earlier, so I rescheduled to 7/13/2022. What happened to my Mom on 7/13/2022 (today) made me very angry. My Mom has waited 3.5 HOURS for a ultrasound and she didn't even get her mammogram completed. Her appointment was at 2PM, she was told at the site that her mammogram was cancelled without any reasonable explanation. They initially blamed that there was something wrong the insurance group's authorization approval, later blamed that my Mom gave them the verbal authorization to cancel the appointment although my Mom told a Chinese speaking radiologist very clearly that she felt different type of reactions and she wanted to get the mammogram done (my Mom doesn't speak English and needs a translator, clearly whoever is translating didn't translate the right information to the right person). She went there 1:20PM (because they wanted patients to arrive 20 minutes earlier) but left 4:50PM, this is fking 3.5 HOURS!!! I called up the front desk and asked them 1) why the mammogram was cancelled on the day of the procedure, 2) when did you find out the mammogram was cancelled, and 3) why didn't you give me a call as soon as you found out the mammogram needed to be cancelled. That lady could not answer any of those questions, instead she transferred me to the mammogram technician. My three questions had nothing to do with the technician, those are about administrative process at the office. It was very rude, very unprofessional, careless about patients who doesn't speak English, very bad experience! DO NOT GO THERE!!! read more

My mother came here because a family member recommended this place for their new and accurate equipment, but the staff here are the rudest people. My mother went here to make an appointment for a mammogram and she was treated in the most horrid way and she has been going here for 2 years. Last year she had a problem because they screwed up with her insurance, but we thought it was just a mistake and not complete incompetence. However, with how they were treated this week I am completely sure it is incompetence now. This week she went there to see if there were any openings and if not, to make an appointment. They said there were no openings and to make an appointment, which she decided to schedule one at the office. They told her to wait to schedule an appointment and that wait lasted ONE HOUR. Yes, one hour to schedule an appointment. Did she get an appointment? Nope. They then told her they don't have time to make an appointment and she should go home and call the office later. My wife had an appointment and 1130 that was fine, but apparently they like to argue in front t of customers. 2 Hispanic and 1 Chinese worker were complaining about there breaks and lunches and who was going to cover what shift. Very unprofessional. Here is the kicker, keep In mind the waiting room is very small. So when my wife returned the paperwork she accidently left her phone on the counter a Note 4. DO NOT go here for a mammogram. Find another place that has a better layout. Arcadia Radiology Women's Imaging's rooms are configured so that once the technician gets your breasts in the right position after much adjusting, squeezing, and prodding, she will walk AT LEAST 5 SECONDS to the other side of the room to take the image. No woman should be left in that position of indignity and extreme pain because the place can't get their room configuration right. They did appear to do mammograms very quickly. I was done in about 15 minutes. You might say they are efficiently addressing the backlog from COVID, but my opinion is this was the worst and most impersonal mammogram I've ever had. Perhaps the technicians are under pressure to churn out patients like cattle. I welcome efficiency and would be pleased if this were a flu shot. But for mammograms, please take an extra 10 minutes for women who are already embarrassed and scared. read more

Had my mammogram here. It shares parking with other buildings so you might go to the wrong building. I went to the north building, they are the south building. 5 stars for parking- lots of it. 3 stars for signage on where to go. 4 stars for privacy- they don't call out your name and someone comes to you quietly to ask you in. 3 stars for the back room where you undress, put your clothes in a locker and then wait to be called in. 2-3 stars for the actual procedure- my technician had to do a redo since the first did not come out. 2-3 stars for the length of time it took to get results. There was a system change during the time I was processed so hopefully its not that long typically. But I had to call and ask for my results. Overall, I don't like having these done. And I have heard that there is now a sonogram (at other places) offered instead of xrays, so I will look into that option next time. But this place is fine if you are just getting a routine check. read more

THIS OFFICE IS INCONSIDERATE AND COLD. Initial appt was "OK" waited about 20 min. Called back for further images. Next appt WASNT UNTIL ANOTHER MONTH . At this point I'm NERVOUS. They didn't want the power to come back and when it did they kept making excuses about how the computer wouldn't be able to work or how the imagining machines wouldn't work . i had WAITED 2 MONTHS for this day and they were there saying they wanted to go home??? They ended Up rescheduling me, double booking me into their schedule. On this date they called me 5 min after my appt time to see if I was still coming in. I told them I was about 5 min away and they said "great, I will check you in meanwhile". It took me 9min to get to the front desk. The two woman at the front started to discuss among themselves if I should be seen or not. They didn't make eye contact with me and so I stood by the doorway because there was no seats available. They then called me to the window to say that they couldnt take me because they only have a 10 min grace period Which they didn't mention at any time. So THEY couldnt wait 12 min but I COULD wait 2+MONTHS for results And I could be patience and understanding with their power outage but they couldn't with my commute. I knew she did not press the prompt calling from a Dr's office. She pressed the prompt as a patient. I know the Dr's prompts. I then called the Dr's office myself pressed the prompt calling from a Dr's office and guess what magically happened, I got ahold of someone and I proceed to let them know the woman at Arcadia Woman's Imaging supposedly could not get ahold of anyone there. Just to let you know all Dr's offices get through. All the sudden the girls at Arcadia Woman's imaging hear my phone call then this is when they try only because I was being pro-active. The girl with the tattooed eyebrows hid her name tag so I could not see it. I think her description will name her. Anyways,the staff was horrible, rude, disorganized, lockers broken, filthy bathroom. Last time I was here 2-3 years ago it was not like this. I suggest strongly to reevaluate employees including cleaning crew. My Mom came as been coming here for a few years as well as this morning for an Abdomen USG. We came exactly at 8am but the receptionist told me that the appointment was suddenly changed from 8:15 to 8:30. I told her that the appointment was 8:15 and the appointment card says we have to be there at 8. She picked up the card from the trash and said oh, they made a mistake and therefore, we had to wait for 2 persons in front of my Mom. The girl just said that they (whoever gave us the appointments time) made a mistake with no remorse. I also saw that they let another lady who came after us getting a service first. I am a positive, even-tempered person and have honestly never left a bad review of anything, but I can't stop thinking about how traumatic my experience was here. By far the worst medical experience of my life. I am a first time mom, four months pregnant with twins, and I came for an ultrasound of a breast lump. I assumed my ultrasound technician would be as professional and caring as the ones who do the ultrasounds for my pregnancy, but that was far from the case. From the moment my technician greeted me she somehow seemed annoyed at me as she explained where the robes were, and she continued to be rude, unprofessional and downright degrading for the rest of my appointment. Once in the room, she told me I had to point out exactly the spot that needed to be imaged. I did my best to point it out, but was a little unsure if I was right because it's not an easy lump to find. She said it was up to me to show her exactly where it was, so when she took the picture I asked if she saw it and she said "I took a picture of the spot you pointed at." As in, "Not my problem." I explained that I was worried I maybe didn't point to the exact right spot, I didn't know it would be up to me alone to direct the ultrasound and I was really nervous. She continued to act annoyed at me and coldly said "I took a picture of the spot you pointed at. If you want to point to another spot you can." At this point tears started streaming down my face and I had to feel around my exposed breast as she stared at me flatly with no attempt to assist me or comfort me in any manner. As I tried to make sure I found the right spot I explained that I was especially nervous because of my pregnancy, and how it took me weeks to get this appointment and an hour to drive there and I wanted to make sure my ultrasound was thorough. She simply repeated that she took pictures in the spots I pointed at and that's all her job entails. I felt that I was not treated professionally during the image process and I am certainly not confident that my ultrasound was thorough. I will never go to this facility again. After telling the details of the story to my mom (a nurse), she said I had to go back and tell her supervisor, which I did. He was mortified and very apologetic. I sincerely hope they take action so that this can't happen to anyone else. read more

Had to call again to reschedule and ended up going to their Glendale site which I had to fight traffic plus pay parking for the appointment, when Arcadia offers free parking. Very poor experience. Have been here 3 times for an annual mammogram. The front desk staff is very courteous. The x-ray tech was very respectful of my privacy and sympathetic that having a mammogram is definitely NOT a pleasant experience for most women. The best part of the experience was that I was in and out in a half an hour or less, and they were very prompt sending the results to my physician who called me just 24 hours after my procedure to give me the results. read more

You scheduled my App 1 week in advance. They ignored me for almost 1 hour until I finally went up to the front desk... Their fax machine Doesn't work and here we are waiting for nothing. They did nothing about this, I finally Walked Over to the next door building to go pick up the doctor order myself! why would you allow the patient to do that, no customer service. They should've been proactive and gotten the order themselves when they realized that they are having technical difficulties.
