I have given Arch 2 Arch 4 chances, thinking maybe they would finally meet my expectations since I am new to Memphis. I was wrong. I typically always need a full face wax. This is what I asked for when walking into Arch 2 Arch for the first time. I have always been accustomed to being treated with yellow wax, not sure what the technical term is here. However, I noticed the wax they were using was pink, and seemed to be a lot smoother and less painful than using the regular yellow wax. She used the wax all over my face, and then proceeded to thread any remaining hairs. I really liked that part, and thought that my hair would not grow back as quickly. For me, quickly is ~3 weeks. Within 1 week, I am not kidding, the hair was already back. My speculations were that maybe it was cause by my hormonal cycle, that maybe I just went at the wrong time. The second time I got a package, 2 full face wax/thread for $50. Which is more reasonable for the price I usually am accustomed to paying. The same thing happened again, the hair was back within a week. The third time I went in, I did NOT ask for a waxing, but instead, a FULL FACE THREAD. This is because I just knew something about their wax was sketchy. So she threaded my whole face. This would be the only acceptable encounter I had with Arch 2 Arch. The hair did not grow back as quickly, and she did actually get all the hairs. I recently visited on December 8th, and asked for the full face thread again. Not only did the woman cause injuries to my face, but she kept sighing when I told her there was still hair left behind. Not only did I leave the facility with scars on my face, but I also didn't get the treatment I needed. Oh, and I still had to pay. For me to go 4 times, and only receive 1 adequate service, I will NOT ever be going back. Being from a different state, I just kept giving this place chances on chances. I'm really not a person to ever write a bad review or anything, but this is just too much. I kept my mouth shut while it was happening because I'm too nice of a person and didn't want to correct someone doing their job. I've been here multiple times (both on Union and Bartlett) and hadn't learned my lesson apparently. Everytime I have gotten a wax, half of my skin being waxed off came included in the price. When it comes to threading, you'll probably be okay. But waxing... please don't do it there. I'm stuck walking around with literal scabs on my face for what will be over a week (because again, I didn't learn my lesson the first few times, I thought it was just unexperienced employees..) Side story: I am 31 and learned how to thread at the age of 7. I was self taught how to wax at the age of 24 from all the years I had gotten it done. I don't understand how "professionals" who have studied this can f*** it more up than I have ever on myself. So long story short.. if the owner reads this, PLEASE hire people that know what they are actually doing. This is absurd. Women come there to feel good about themselves and pamper themselves and end of leaving with their skin ripped open, in pain, and shi***. I came in after having grown up my eyebrows so that I could get them shaped professionally here. I usually pluck my own eyebrows but just got lazy the last few weeks. They left quite a few very obvious stray eyebrows as you can probably tell in the pictures. She also really didn't give much shape to my brows at all. I went back home and plucked them myself and honestly just got really sad when I saw my brows up close. Edit: after posting this review I got a personal phone call from the store owner/manager apologizing about the service and issuing a refund. I was not expecting that at all and genuinely appreciate the kindness and sincerity of the woman on the phone. Thats really incredible customer service. read more

I've been here several times. I used to leave here really happy! Not the case the last 2 times. Both times have been on a Saturday morning. The young lady I had the last couple of times has left a lot to be desired. About a month ago she took a chunk out of my brow and covered it up. I couldn't see it till I took my makeup off. I bought a Groupon for a Brazilian Wax and thought I was getting a deal, WRONG!!! I made an appointment as requested, arrived on time/early and still had to wait 15 minutes. So what's the point of an appointment again?‍ I get in the room and she turns on a fan right in front of my genital area and proceeds to sprinkle powder on me while the fan is on, again...I'm lost for words as the powder is blowing in my face.‍ When I tell you this lady was "ruff" not rough, it was like a mean old lady doing my wax. I've been getting Brazilian waxes for years so I know what to expect and this was NOT normal. Oh and by the way if you use a Groupon you don't get the option of hard wax, only wax with strips that she so kindly snatched off like a mad woman. Fast forward less than 24 hours, I feel some discomfort, let me take a look in my "pocketbook", yes my skin is torn between the labia minora and majora...look it up if you're not familiar with your "pocketbook". So I immediately contact them as I needed to know aside for giving me my skin back how would they resolve this uncomfortable feeling. I spoke to manager who advised me to come in so she could "inspect" the situation, cool proof is in the pudding. I'd post a picture if it weren't so rated X. I waited another 20 minutes to get "examined". So she gave me some cream to help with infection and advised me to apply twice daily and to ask for her next time and we could do hard-wax...honestly I'm not sure I trust my most prized possession to a company that didn't handle it with care in the first place. So now that you've read this lengthy review, the moral of the story is don't get a Brazilian from here at least from the mean, older women with a thin build. We are lucky to have a threading spot in midtown Memphis. Until I realized this was here I had to drive all the way down to Oak Court Mall and wait, or drive to Germantown. There is never a long wait and eyebrow threading is always satisfactory. The shop is clean and the self check-in is easy. The threaders get straight to the point and provide fast reliable service. Very clean and a great location! I have been getting my brows threaded for years and have really found Arch2Arch (Midtown) to be one of the best!!! I even bought a "pack" or 4 threading appointments! Monty was super professional, super detailed, and super pain-free!!! I have been to 3-4 other Arch2Arches, but this is by far the best location. Sooooo worth the drive!!! I requested a specific style for my brows and lashes . I was disregarded and told her style was "prettier and more natural". not only that, my lashes have only stayed put for less than 24 hrs while when I have visited other locations, they stayed on for the full 2 weeks. And original were spotty and not put on fully and filled. I was charged $15 more for the same services I get every 2 weeks as well. I am very disappointed as I have always done my business with this establishment. I will no longer be doing such. read more

I come here pretty regularly for eye brow threading. They're pretty fast so never a long wait. Work is just average (somewhat painful too) but for $10, it's not horrible. Also, the Kroger across the street from it always has coupons on the receipts for $1 off threading so really just $9. Not bad so I always return. read more

Do not get eyelashes from Arch 2 Arch!!! I went there for lash extensions for my elopement wedding in New Orleans (12/27/18). I ended up with an eye infection that landed me in the emergency room and later an ophthalmologist's office to get rid of the terrible infection. Both totaled over $1500 including the medication to clear up the infection. Wedding pictures look horrible because of my red eyes and swollen eyelids. read more

This location has very poor/limited customer service. When I walked in the woman behind the counter did not open her mouth or remove her headphones, just gestured at the tablet to sign in. Same woman did my threading. Did not ask me what I wanted or speak to me aside from indicating where to sit. I thought there would be the opportunity to discuss what I wanted. Instead the woman tilted my head back and tapped my eyelids, indicating me to place my hands on my face. When I didn't get the signal, she repeated the gesture, never actually saying anything. Once I got the picture she started threading. The process was quick but I ended up with eyebrows that were way too thin for my preference. And uneven thickness at that. Dramatically uneven. I should have spoken up initially but as my first time, I wasn't sure the process. After seeing the damage I paid and left, realizing there was no way to improve her work other than with time. I am disappointed in this experience because if the woman had displayed any interest in me as a client, I would have likely given the place another shot. It was convenient to walk in without an appointment and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. But no, no thanks. Besides, it'll probably take months to get my eyebrows back to at least partial thickness. Just don't do it. read more
