When I installed the new cartridge, the printed pages were still dim and streaky. Just to be sure, I replaced the new cartridge with the other new one and got the same result: dim and streaky. Thinking that the printer had other problems, I took it to Office Imaging Systems. Mr. Nelson looked it over and quickly determined that the printer was fine, it was the new toner cartridge that was bad. He replaced it with one from his supply and everything now works well. Who knew that you could get not one but two defective official HP cartridges in the same shipment from Amazon??
