Had them come out for a Re Install of my TV on a Wall. Derrick was my Technician and he was very-very professional. Not only did he Re Mount the TV correctly - He made sure that it was level and adjusted Center on the Wall. Once he took it off the wall - He also re cabled everything on the back of the TV (Cable Management) so that once it was back on the wall - No Cables could be seen from the Couch! He then made sure the TV was working and ALL other devices connected to the TV ( Apple TV - Cable Box - Game Console) were all working and TV Resolution was all set to 4K. Give them a try - And if you can Ask for Derrick!!! You'll be Glad you did!! read more

We bought a new house and had a lot on our plates, so we called this company for help installing our smart thermostat. After tinkering with the device and our HVAC unit (which we don't think he was trained to do), the technician couldn't figure it out, and we didn't have to pay for that service (we had one other service that we did pay for). No hard feelings, we would figure it out sometime. Overnight, we realized that our heating wasn't working, and we were freezing. The technician had completely messed up our HVAC system... He had taken a drill to it and completely rewired it. We had to call a repair person but eventually figured it out, including the installation of the smart thermostat, with just some time and YouTube. I turned off my auto-renew to cancel my membership after this. This was obviously not a service that I wanted to continue. They have continued to bill me (I double-checked and my auto-renew is OFF), and their customer service put in a "ticket" for their billing department. I issued a report with my credit card, so I am hoping this nightmare with this company is over. read more

If ratings went into the negative, that would be the score. 1. Stated policy is you're charged after job is completed. The charge hit my credit card before service was even scheduled. 2. 1st appt cancelled by tech 25 minutes AFTER he was supposed to be at my house. He stated he told company that he couldn't do same day appts and apologetically said he wouldn't make it to my house. 3. Hours went by and finally someone called explained the previously assigned tech had an "emergency" (contrary to what the actual tech told me) and said they'd reschedule "some time". 4. More than 24 hrs later, I received text of rescheduled appt. (Charge remained on my credit card the whole time.) 5. Tech arrived on time but got out of here as quickly as he could - 15 minutes at most. He was supposed to fish a wire from TV to AppleTV but instead routed directly to my Soundbar - which I could have done myself. Didn't explain anything and, since it isn't working properly and I've now gone from 1 remote to 2) I think he did it the easy way, rather than the right way. I will NEVER use this service again. read more

Terrible company experience. Booking an appointment with a HelloTech technician is a nightmare. I have been sending my availability for weeks and ensuring I adjust my schedule to be home during those times, only to find out a technician is not available and that I need to keep sending available times for future weeks. A technician never picked up my order and they then decided to cancel my order after a couple weeks because of "low coverage of technicians in my area." I live in Salt Lake area. Wow terrible business and customer service. I do not recommend HelloTech. read more

The Tech was polite and attempted to resolve my computer issue, which he did. However, after he left I discovered that some apps that I had on my computer prior to their repairs were gone after he worked on the computer. I will now have to pay to purchase and re-install the Apps that are missing. read more

I am very disappointed in the service I experienced today. I submitted photos early only to hear the tech call the office to say that he was unable to preform the job. He was a older man (very nice) but his health conditions was wrong for the job. He stated he can not step on a ladder, both feet was wrapped, and he appeared to have other major issues. Due to the timing of this job I was forced to locate the job to a area he can stand on the floor. I had to call my husband to assist in hanging the 40 inch TV on the wall. Scheduled an appointment online, entered card info and was told I would not be charged until after the tech had done the service repair. The tech kept cancelling and rebooking multiple times so we finally canceled and went with another company. All of a sudden got charged a monthly fee of 4.99 for a membership I never agreed to or signed up for. "Emily" in customer service told me it was an option when checking out that I clicked showing a cheaper price if I signed up but I distinctly remember it saying one price and this is the minimum charge, and you won't be charged until the tech has done the service, and he will let you know of any other charges for extra work needed at the appointment. So don't enter card info because you are signing up for a membership. If you look on better business bureau there are multiple of these exact same complaints being all of a sudden charged a monthly membership. So no I do not recommend this business. read more

The cost was a bit expensive but we wanted professional installation. Our installer Rainey was prompt, knowledgeable and thorough. He exceeded our expectations. Rhaif was very fast installing the Nest and the Ring for our home. He was very helpful. Our original appointment was for 1:00 pm and he was able to come earlier so he called to ask if it was fine then came, installed everything very quickly and also helped with a connectivity issue and there was no extra charge. We've been getting ridiculous installation quotes from just about everywhere. HelloTech had the most reasonable quote so we decided to try them out and we don't regret it at all. 2 thumbs up and if you can request Rhaif or get him on accident lol he was great & fast.
