Can't honestly say I recommend Archers, but would use them again in a pinch. Too many negatives for me. But the work quality seems to be good. Annual service ranges from $150 for riding mowers to nearly $200 for commercial zero turns. This includes things like oil change, sharpening and balance blades, grease mower, replace filters and new spark plug. Most of these could be performed yourself with a little knowledge and the new parts. Pros: Free mower pick up and return within 20 miles during winter months, otherwise it's $75. Seems honest and knowledgeable about mowers. Cons: Provided no documentation showing he had my mower or what services will be performed; made me a little uneasy. Didn't show up when stated to pick up or return my mower. He leaves mowers outside his shop in the weather and unsecured against possible theft (front gate was open after business hours). Can take two weeks or more waiting for service/repair during spring/summer; I had to pay someone twice to cut my grass while waiting three weeks to get my mower back. I did notice some rust on a few spots since it sat in the rain multiple days/nights; I store it in the garage since it's a very expensive mower. read more
