We booked both the Can-Am San Juan tour and two 30-minute jet ski rentals through Archie Rentals during our Puerto Rico trip. The Can-Am experience was absolutely amazing -- 10/10 and one of the highlights of our trip! Gabriela was our tour guide and she had such a vibrant, fun personality. The tour was about 2 hours long and she took us all throughout Viejo San Juan with tons of photo opportunities along the way. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history and the area, and it was such a great way to experience Old San Juan without having to walk everywhere in the heat. We truly got to see and experience so much. Felix and Gabriela were both amazing and made the experience memorable for us. Unfortunately, we did not get to experience the jet ski portion. We had reserved it the day before, but while we were having a beach day my husband had opened his first beer as we approached the jet ski tent, so they would not allow him to drive. We asked if waiting a few hours would make it okay, but it was a definite no. While we completely understand and respect the safety policy and why it exists, I do think a larger or clearer sign ahead of time would be helpful for guests to know there is absolutely no drinking beforehand. Since it was literally his first beer and the staff heard it open as we walked up, I do feel the jet ski team could have been a little more willing to work with us and a bit friendlier in their approach. We had a blast! If you're traveling or in the area go Jet Ski. It was super fun! The instructors are great, they watch the groups precisely. I feel off (didn't flip the jet ski) a few times, before I knew it one of the instructors was there to help me get back on.. I laughed from excitement the entire time, it felt good to go.. I think the fasted I went was 15-17mph. That may sound slow but trust me it was fast and fun. I rode solo and with someone, I'd prefer to ride solo lol.. it was easier for me to stay on, I only feel off with a passenger on. Lastly, if you can book online do that. They charge you per jet ski not person two people per jet ski is fine. We tried to go yesterday it was a terrible fiasco! We went home booked online, process went much smoother and faster. First time in a jet ski and because we made the reservation the same day they didn't have a tour available, but we opted for the freestyle 30 minute option. We originally booked the last slot of the day, but got there a bit early so they fit us in for the 30 minute session before hand! I really liked the booking process as we held off from booking any water activities until the day of because the forecast all weekend was a bit iffy with rain. But it was easy enough to book online and we preemptive filled out the waivers before getting to the beach. But we also saw some folks make their reservation right there on the beach so walk ups are fine too, I think it's just a bit more chaotic. Overall, a really good experience. They gave us an overview and answered everyone's questions. We had a specific area that we were to keep to, it was fun to ride around and get a handle on things, but I'd probably opt for a tour next time! They also gave us cube to hold our stuff in while we were out on the water. Also, the best thing I've ever done is order two jet skis. One for myself and another for my partner. While we could've gotten on one jet ski, he had way more fun hitting top speeds where I was more comfortable in the 10-20 mph range. My max speed was 30 mph and his was 45 mph. We also ordered the go pro package, so I'll update that once we get them in! read more

Our family of four booked 2 jet skis with Archie and had a great time! It started of horribly for me as I was having credit card issues due to my travels abroad. After getting all those issues fixed we got onto the jet skis and had a great time jetting around the immediate area...about 150-200 yards. We jetted for 30min and that was more than enough time for us. The people who work here are friendly and very accommodating to our issues earlier on. If you do go, things to know. Book early. Wear swimwear as you will get wet. Pay in cash as that seems the easiest for us. They have bins for storage while you jet. Don't bring your phone while you jet around. Bring your license/id. Just finished my ride!! The rental process here was very easy and smooth. I decided to walk-up instead of booking online and they were able to place me right away with the next group. Ramón was such a help at the check-in area, along with Colón who guided us where to enter into the water. Once at the jet ski in the water, Tito was very helpful in explaining the rules for operation along with accompanying our group on a ski for safety if we needed him. Absolutely horrible experience with staff and booking service. I entered the wrong date for my booking and called right after to try and cancel or reschedule and they said they were closed and to call back at 10:30 am the next day. I said okay but they proceeded to text me after and said they could cancel it right now. They did so and I rebooked the correct time. The following day when I arrive for my reservation they said that they weren't going to be able to serve me because there was confusion and missed communications between the staff that my reservation was to be cancelled. I mentioned how I asked to cancel and they said they would in the morning but they proceeded to at night anyways but they just said they can't serve me. Waste of my time traveling there and wasting my money on the booking. They proceeded to let me rebook but didn't tell me it would just be cancelled on their end right away. It was a necessity to go jetskiing during my first time in PR. Booking was easy and pretty fast, along with checking in when we got there. Jared, who worked there and helped us get the vest on and explained the rules, was very friendly, humorous, and nice. It was a really fun experience but I wish they didn't let so many people jetski at the same time. You have to stay a reasonable distance away from everyone but it's hard with 8+ people who are restricted to one area. Other then that I really enjoyed it and I think the others did too. I had booked the reservations online the day of arriving to Puerto Rico.They get booked up quick because they are the only company on the beach & the demand is so high. They do have a wait list you can put your name on they suggested coming at 10am, if online wasn't an option. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation time. Check in was easy, signed waivers, checked our ids & threw on some life jackets & went out on the water. Brief instructions on how the jet ski worked & how far you can go. It was overall a good time.
