    Sunset Tour
    Dalton W.

We decided to pick the sunset tour, which was a perfect choice. Started out leaving the dock then once out of the marina the sails went up! We were sailing! Was such a cool experience to feel drifting over the water by just the breeze. Then we landed at the reef where we anchored. All the snorkeling gear was provided and the reef was beautiful. After an house of snorkeling we landed in the island. The water crystal clear and the crew set up a fresh Punic on the boat consisting of : Sandwich's with freshly made bread, turkey/ham, chicken salad or tuna salad was the choices pair with all the condiments, freshly made pasta salad, fresh fruit cut up on the spot.. all this with endless drinks adult version or virgin your choice. And yes unlimited. The crew was amazing making sure you were always okay and had a drink or two! The tour ended sailing back to the marina as the sun dipped behind the island of Puerto Rico the sight was beautiful. The crew was awesome and so friendly. Definitely recommend to those trying to party for their was music bumping and people dancing aboard. Great for birthdays, anniversary's or any celebration!

Super fun crew with organized logistics. The Icacos is only 30min ride away. Need to be a good swimmer to enjoy the snorkeling due to the strong current. The crew made the trip. Charming, fun and clearly enjoying themselves.

I'm so happy we chose the Salty Dog for our excursion! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our family had fun. Amanda was THE best hostess and two of the guys were able to find my husband's wedding ring that fell off after he jumped in the water off the back of the boat! They dove in right away to help and after about 10 minutes found it in the water about 10 feet deep! We couldn't believe it! We would highly recommend booking with this crew!

5/5 - An Amazing Experience! What an amazing experience! I had so much fun from start to finish. They provided everything -- drinks, water, food, clean bathrooms, and great music. The crew was very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about sea safety, which made me feel completely safe the entire time. The islands we visited were absolutely beautiful, and the whole trip felt like being on a family boat -- warm, fun, and perfectly organized. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and full of good vibes. I highly recommend this experience 1000%! LMOCORO

From the moment we stepped aboard the catamaran, we knew we were in for something special. Joshua (Captain) and the crew were incredibly welcoming, professional, and full of energy, setting the tone for a day of pure relaxation and adventure. The catamaran itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. We sailed across crystal-clear waters, with panoramic views of the coastline that were simply breathtaking. There was plenty of shaded seating, open deck space for sunbathing, and even a netted area to lounge right over the sea. Our stops included a stunning snorkeling spot teeming with vibrant marine life, and a secluded beach where we enjoyed swimming and some much-needed downtime. The crew provided snorkeling gear and safety instructions, making it a smooth experience even for beginners. Lunch was a delicious spread of fresh, fruit, sandwiches served with refreshing drinks that kept flowing throughout the journey and Bad Bunny playing in the background, creating the perfect island vibe, simply iconic!!! Whether you're looking for relaxation, adventure, or just a unique way to see the coastline, this catamaran excursion is a must. We left with sun-kissed skin, full hearts, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

So much fun!! The crew was very professional and a lot of fun! Unlimited rum, piña colada's, passion fruit, Coca Cola & water. They provided turkey sandwiches, chips and fruit. If you're in the area check them out!!!

This was an amazing experience. I booked this excursion for my birthday and wasn't sure what to expect since it was my first catamaran and snorkeling experience. We went with the morning excursion and it was well worth the $92. We decided to drive instead of paying the $50 for transportation. It was about a 50 minute drive from San Juan/Isla Verde and the drive was easy, no crazy roads. Parking was on the street and check-in was easy. The crew was super friendly and professional, and made sure everyone had a good time. I felt safe every part of the trip. I plan on coming back in October and will definitely book again.

I booked this for a friends trip and this team did not disappoint. We opted for the $33 round trip addition. Pick up was delayed but they more than made up for it on the boating trip. Let me tell you that boat was a party from start to finish. Think unlimited drinks and a crew that was ready to dance. Our first stop was snorkeling for about a hour. This experience is more for people who have snorkeled in the past, as they didn't give too many pointers on how to do it; however, it is a available. Then it was off to Icacos Island. We spent a couple hours here just lounging on the beach and swimming and eating lunch which was pretty simple but filling. Overall if you're trying to be on somebody's boat in PR, this was the best bang for your buck and the most fun. Book them!!

Loved the experience. It was an awesome ride. On the ocean. The crew (Capt. Tito, Paula, Jeremy and complete forgot the other guy, but he was great as well. 100% will recommend this boat and crew, we had an amazing time. They took us to the snorkeling site that was amazing.

I fully understand and respect that the vessel has a no-smoking and no-vaping policy. I complied. However, the manner in which the policy was communicated was unnecessarily rude and confrontational. Professional leadership sets the tone onboard, and unfortunately that tone created an uncomfortable atmosphere from the start. At one point, I was also threatened by a crew member, which was completely disproportionate to the situation. That escalation appeared to stem from poor leadership and communication from the captain. The most disappointing moment occurred as I was disembarking the vessel when the captain said, "Can you walk straight?" implying that I was intoxicated or unstable. This comment was especially inappropriate given that I have visible scarring on my femur from a serious injury. I worked very hard to recover from that injury, and being mocked in that manner was unprofessional and disrespectful. I have always respected crew authority and vessel policies on prior charters. Rules are understandable. Disrespect and intimidation are not. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures future guests are treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.

It is a fairly priced experience that includes good food, drinks, and is ultimately a great day not at the office. The positives are all over the reviews. My picture is from the charter even. Let's talk about what happened to detract from our experience. Captain Dan drank openly and had at least two Medalla cans of beers on the way back into port. This is unacceptable on a paid charter. Really big deal. I'm not sure what the laws are on this but my pilot, Cab driver, bus driver, doctor, and anyone else responsible for the well being of others can wait to drink after hours. Captain Dan started the charter with a quick argument with Charlie. He used the explicit and profane language quite loudly without apologies. The first stop was supposed to be 150 minutes but was only 70 minutes including the meal; so no beach time. The whole charter ended at 3:30 which was an hour short. The snorkel mask had a poor seal which allowed water into the mask. No legit snorkel vests also. The stops were really choppy. This was not snorkeling for a beginner. I can't imagine anyone doing these stops with no experience. There were strong currents near big rocks. The ladder on back was challenging with as much bobbing as the ship did on stop 2. I can imagine older folks having a really hard time. He can't control water but can pick stops accordingly. The commentary was really poor. We learned about the boat, his business plans, and his thoughts on politicians. Information on sailing, the ecology, the reef, or even the history of Puerto Rico wasn't there. I can't tell you the name of the islands, boats, currents, or anything like that. No sailing chart was shown. I can tell that Four Seasons and Disney are interested in investing in the West coast and some things about the US Treasury. The bathroom sink has not worked since at least a month. He made an announcement about it. I was able to glean this from a few TripAdvisor references. So food prep and guest hand washing happens in the same sink. Get the folks some hand sanitizer. They do a great job on prepping for motion sickness because it will be a ride against the currents with some choppy waters. I'm surprised I didn't get it. I had a good time because I was on vacation and on a boat with great weather. Charlie was great, too. The marina was amazing and there was even a shower facility. I wouldn't go back, though.

We stopped to admire a ship that is going to be used in the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie before heading out to the open water. Ingrid and Dan were more than accommodating. They even let a few who wanted to sail the boat take the helm. One was a born natural. We got to our main snorkel site where we were told we would have about 1.5 - 2 hours to enjoy the water before lunch would be ready. For those of us who had not snorkeled before, he took his time to explain how to put on the mask and how to use the snorkel. He made sure we were all outfitted with the appropriate size flippers as well. He made sure we all had swim buddies and told us what kind of sea life we'd see in the area. The lunch they provided was amazing and plentiful. (I LOVED the mango salsa). Drinks were plenty (water, soda, beer, and RUM PUNCH!) Ingrid also brought out some fruits and banana bread for snacks later in the day. We were given the option of what we'd like to do next, more sailing or more snorkeling. We ended up on a little sand island with even more clear water. The day just kept getting better and better. When we got back to the marina, Ingrid called our driver to pick us up, and provided us a key to the shower to get rinsed off. All 6 of us girls had a great time. I look forward to going back to Puerto Rico and taking on a new adventure. This is much more exciting and relaxing than one of those over priced catamaran tour boats.

Hubs & I had gone sailing several times both with friends and on excursions before and were prepared for the wind and the spray, and most of all, I was excited for the heeling (hubs less so... but he loves me -- this was more in my wheelhouse than his). I admit, based on previous paid experiences I somewhat expected to have the option of handling the ropes to help with adjusting the sails, of course with appropriate guidance. In this case, that was a hard no; we were not to touch anything, "for safety". We got some commentary on the history of the island and it's fortresses - nice, but in my specific case take it or leave it (because we'd already been to Castillo San Cristobal). I preferred El Capitan talking with us and the other couple about where we were staying and what foodie priorities to get to during our stay. And God put on a sunset show for us, and it was neat to see the other ships in the bay -- from cargo ferries to private yachts to sailboats from all over to a pair of cruise ships in Port. Now I said I'd talk on our communication snafu with the owner -- with our booking there were pretty specific instructions on where to park and where to go. Which we endeavored to follow when we arrived, early, bearing in mind the "if you're late we leave without you, no refunds" cautionary language. We messaged that we were there, that we knew we were early, and where we were, by the gatehouse as instructed. Guard brought us in to where they said we would be met by the team from Sail San Juan Bay, and by then we had a conflicting location message. As we tried to follow orders, we received another message sending us back towards where we had been. I was put off by it, and all the more in contrast to another excursion I did the next day with incredibly clear info and texts to the entire group including the person actually taking point on the group, even though the meeting point was similarly at a public unmanned location. So yeah, 100% go on the sailboat, and enjoy the time on the bay... but follow initial instructions and if you can avoid contact with the owner, do so.
