I can't for the life of me comprehend how people give this place a bad review. I've had nothing but fantastic experiences here for years now. Today could not have been any better. Course was immaculate for early November. Staff was super nice and helpful. No wait. Nobody up our ass. Food after was very good. Everything was an absolute A+. Best public course in NJ.

So let's start out by saying I'm not a golfer. I haven't gone there to golf. If I want to walk around on a beautiful day, I don't want it interrupted by a little white ball. You know the Scots invented golf. They even play in the winter. They play with red balls. Well that's because of the kilts. Anyway I used the takeout at the club. Actually on Thanksgiving day. Long story short; got a colonoscopy canceled and didn't plan on a dinner. So it's a dinner for 4 ( if your not big eaters if you are it's dinner for two). Ever day is one delicious dinner (no choice just whatever the dinner of the day is) like a full lasagna dinner or a full chicken dinner, or full pot roast dinner; the price is @$40. . I had the Pot Roast mashed potatoes green beans and rolls. It was so tender and delicious. I've been meaning to go back try the lasagna dinner (a big tray of lasagna). This food is all gourmet quality. Not fancy gourmet but oh so good. I most definitely recommend this. The golf course you're going to have to figure out yourself. While I might be retired ( which I think is a requirement to be a golfer,or divorced which I think comes from being a golfer) My hobbies are a tad more to the exciting ones. Like being shot out a cannon and fire eating, and noodling shark fishing. Nothing too out of the ordinary.

I think this is the best walk-on club around. They take amazing care of the course. It is my favorite for sure.

This ain't no party, this ain't no disco and this ain't no foolin' around so unless someone else is paying, no way in hell I'm dropping $50+ a round. Harker's appears on GolfNow on a daily basis which depending on how you look at it, could be a good thing or a bad thing. Thursday 1pm tee-time for 18 with a cart for $22 and change? Yep! First the good. The course for the most part is actually in pretty good shape. Fairways are green and lush. Nice differentiated cut between the fairway and the rough and the greens are what you would expect. What's a little iffy? If you're not in the fairway or fairly close to it, a lot of holes have rock hard exposed dirt patches around/under/close to some of the trees that are impossible to hit off of (unless you want to break a shaft or fracture your wrist) or your ball will roll forever into the next fairway, etc. What's bad? Zero and I mean zero on pace of play enforcement. After 3 hours we got through a grand total of......11 holes. Multiple groups of 4+ people meandering and not giving a crap about anything but their own nonsense. We eventually went back to the beginning and played 1-4 and 8-9 before the cart had to get turned in. So....11 holes in 3 hours and then 6 more in an hour. Yeah, it was that painfully-disgustingly slow. Overall, sure, some of the cart paths ride and look like the government uses this place as bomb range from time to time and you will lose balls here without question with some of the hazards like the creek, trees and aforementioned brownout spots but.....if you can find them on GolfNow, the price is definitely right and you could do much worse at other area courses. (Sidebar, the hours that Yelp has listed I assume are for the onsite restaurant as the golf courses is open daily.)

I loved the outdoor seating area The View provides. The View at Morgan Hill has indoor and outdoor options with a lot of space in both areas. The out door seating offers a nice view of the area, I guess that is where they got the name from. My problem with the View is I am not quite sure if it knows what it wants to be, the food is on the more expensive side, but the quality is okay, if I had to guess most items come in frozen or already prepared. The out door seating is nice, but its the same plastic wicker and cheap meatal patio furniture they sell at Lowes. The service was fine, but just average. I don't know if it trying to be a fine dining place or a casual place to grab a few bites after a round of golf. At the end of the day you are paying a premium price for a view of the golf course. If you are okay with that then you will like eating here. Overall experience was alright. Was not disappointed or impressed. Food was decent. I would want to try several other places before going back to The View.

Our initial interaction with the manager Corrin (CJ) Stucy was positive. She was responsive and accommodating. After touring the venue, we fell in love with both the beautiful view and the event space. The indoor/outdoor setup was a major reason we chose this venue. We were told that we would have full use of the balcony and it would be cleaned up the day of the event, ALL of the doors could be opened to create a seamless indoor/outdoor experience, and the fireplace could be lit during the evening. Unfortunately, once we signed the contract and paid the deposit, our experience changed significantly! Communication became much more difficult, and I often felt like I was inconveniencing the manager, Corrin (CJ) Stucy simply by asking questions about the space. Nearly every request or question was rudely met with a new restriction or condition that had not been discussed during the booking process. There are two event spaces located directly next to each other on the same floor about 4 steps away. We were informed one week before our event that another function--a bridal shower--had been booked at the same time. Because of this, we were no longer able to fully open the doors or have unrestricted access to the balcony as originally represented. These limitations materially changed the atmosphere we had expected and were not disclosed when we booked the venue. I found the manager Corrin (CJ) Stucy communication style to be very Abrupt and unnecessarily Rude. Rather than making us feel like valued paying clients, I often felt as though we were an inconvenience for simply asking questions or seeking clarification regarding the space or table setup. She frequently micromanaged various aspects of the evening instead of allowing the event to flow naturally. Corrin (CJ) Stucy told the dj to turn the music down because of the restaurant upstairs, which wasn't communicated before booking that there would be restrictions on music volume. We were also shocked to see CJ (manager) serving food at the buffet while wearing regular street clothes and no gloves, which I found unprofessional for a formal event. Overall, while the venue itself is beautiful, I was disappointed with Corrin (CJ) Stucy communication style and several of the features that influenced our decision to book were ultimately unavailable or subject to restrictions that were not communicated until after booking the space. The overall tone of our interactions made me feel uncomfortable throughout the planning process and on the day of the event. Despite the challenges, I made EVERY effort to remain polite and respectful throughout all interactions because I wanted the event to proceed as smoothly as possible. As beautiful as the view is, I deeply regret booking the space. Honestly, my interactions with Corrin (CJ) Stucy, took my joy away. I hope this review helps future clients. Ask detailed questions upfront and obtain written confirmation of what is included before signing a contract. BE AWARE that the manager's Corrin (CJ) Stucy communication and management style may have a significant impact on your overall experience. What should have been a joyful celebration felt stressful and unpleasant.
