I have an excellent mechanic where I live but didn't know anything about the scene down here. I did some internet searching and, based upon that, gave this place a try. With both repairs, I was completely satisfied with the quality of the work that was done, the value, and the timely and accurate communication. I recommend this crew very highly. I was somewhat satisfied with the car wash. However, my car wasn't as clean as I would've liked it to have been. The good thing was that my car didn't get scratched by brushes. I believe that they need to make the car wash go longer. I also went to this particular station because I needed to use the restroom. I went into the store, and the friendly cashier gave me the key to the outside bathroom. I walked out to the bathroom, and when I grabbed the door knob, the door opened without using the key. I was feeling a little anxious about someone opening the door while I was using the toilet, but that didn't happen. The person before me probably didn't close the door completely when they left the toilet. The convenience store was huge with lots of items to buy. Outside, there is air for your tires, and you can vacuum your car for a handful of quarters. I was impressed that they had buckets with water and windshield squeegees--I haven't seen very many squeegees at gas stations lately.

I was really excited, it seemed high tech and nice, and was excited to make it my go-to. Unfortunately it did not get the car clean (even with the highest level of wash available), and when we got back home we saw there were black speckles on about 8 of the body panels on our pretty new and recently waxed car. This was handily the worse wash we have tried in the area. I wasn't worried because the other places we had dealt with recently would just send us back through if there were any problems, so we headed back over to the wash to help them make it right. When we got there I described my problem, and there was clearly stress about it so this was not the first time it had happened. The person who seemed in charge wanted to see it, so I took him out and showed him the speckles fully expecting an easy solution. Unfortunately he rather brusquely informed me that it was only on a small area (8 body panels is apparently small) and that he could offer to let me buy a towel for something like another 3 bucks so that I could clean it myself. Are you serious? You're going to try to upsell on a customer retention issue?!? Absurd. When we looked around we noticed signs advertising towels for your car wash implying that they were for finishing the job not drying the car. This was not the first time they had had this conversation. I went home and used my own towel and quick detailer to finish they job they failed to do, and most certainly wiped the 4 dollars extra worth of wax upsell off on the 8 body panels that I found myself having to clean by hand having payed for an automatic car wash an hour before. So the way I see it: 3 stars for a below average wash at a slightly lower price than some, minus one star for trying to upsell me and asking me for my labor to get the job done, and minus another star for the bad customer experience/ attitude. Brown short hair, clean shaven, kind of slim, maybe 5'10", in his 20s or 30s. Both times he said, with a totally straight face: $20 for the lotto (which was actually $1 if you recall), and then whatever the price of the drink was. And quickly doing the math in his head, he verbally added $19 dollars to the grand total without missing a beat. When I looked at the register seeing the real total (which of course was $19 less than what he said), he deadpanned "just kidding". He did this exact same thing to me two different times in the span of a couple weeks. Seems very sketchy. Benefit of the doubt: I suppose he really could've been "just kidding", but if so, not funny at all and pretty poor taste to be trying that joke on paying customers that you don't know. Especially if you have no comedic demeanor or delivery with it. Keep an eye on this guy.
