The old lady that works here is crazy. Came in to grab a beer and waited in line on a busy day. I get rung up and asked what my birthday is. I tell the cashier my birthday and then she asks for ID. I give it to her and she scans it but that's apparently not enough. Now she asks me to tell her how old that makes me. I tell her "I just told you my birthday and gave you my ID, why are you giving me a hard time?" She proceeds to call me an asshole and didn't even sell me the beer. I am a big fan of the Super Clean Car Wash. The guys that work there are always very friendly and helpful. At my last visit, I had unknowingly dropped my LV wallet and one gentleman, picked it up and handed it to me. Very honest! Truly appreciate the helpful nature of the gentlemen that work there. 1/10/2019: This year, I decided refraining renewing my Costco Membership; it doesn't seem financially conducive when the majority of my membership is used purchasing gas for my truck! Now, I have been closely monitoring three Arco gas stations: 1. Placerville Arco-$2.87 per gallon 2. Cameron Park, i.e., Cambridge Exit-$2.81 per gallon 3. El Dorado Hills, Green Valley Road-$2.79 per gallon PLUS, I have been closely monitoring the following gas stations as well: 1. Safeway via Missouri Flat Road & Highway 50, Placerville-$2.85 per gallon for regular gas 2. Express Fuel located in Shingle Springs & Highway 50-$2.89 per gallon for regular gas. So far, Arco Gas Station via Green Valley Road, El Dorado Hills has ALL the gas stations listed above BEAT! This is the gas station I noticed being built down the street from Firestone; months later, the retail store inside still appears brand new, spotlessly clean, and well stocked! read more

Great location. They're right off the corner of Sophia and Green Valley. I admit that the area itself feels a bit tight driving through so just watch out for people turning in and also pedestrians walking to the Folsom Lake trails around here as people tend to park along the sidewalks to walk to the lake. On that note, it's a good spot to stock up on drinks and snacks if you plan to walk by the lake. The car wash here is also amazing. I prefer going to this one compared to Quick Quack. I feel that having an attendant pre rinse the car with their wand and also sometimes scrub the car with a big brush before going in helps a lot. I also think their touchless car wash has more steps to really get the car clean. Price isn't bad either, and you can buy a package deal for washes. Overall I'm glad they're in the area. I especially enjoy the car wash the most. At night it's lit up very well also so it never feels sketchy. read more

My daughters car was covered in sticky Aphid poop. The doors and windows were practically sealed and u able to open. Gabriel and Andrew not only spent extra time scrubbing the car before I went through the car wash but waited at the exit to make sure it was clean. First to review! OMG. I'm in love with this Arco, mostly for its car wash service. If you get a car wash here, they'll take $0.10 off a gallon. Also -- and not pictured here because I took this screen grab from Google Street View -- but they have ROWS AND ROWS of free vacuum cleaners. **Free** FREE vacuum cleaners. (OK, so, there's a sign that says they're free with any carwash, but I think the staff will probably let it slide if you don't get one.) These vacuum cleaners are always on. I love not having to get a truckload of quarters and hurriedly suck all the dirt out of my car. As for the car wash... it's a pretty high-end sort of deal, like the kind you'd find if you took your car to a specialty store, exited, and waited for the machine to do its business. At this Arco, you drive up to the wash and someone greets you. They hand you a towelette for your dashboard and tell you to keep your car in neutral. Then they do a quick wash of your car before it enters the machine. And the machine has *the works*. I think I paid $14-$15 for the deluxe wash. Worth noting this place has a monthly subscription for washes: $20/month for unlimited. (Probably overkill for me. But that's me.) I haven't spent enough time indoors, but I remember the store being abnormally big and stocked with lots of goodies. And great air conditioner in there. My biggest criticism is the car wash & gas purchase. As for all Arcos, this place is heavy on cash only and debit. $0.35 fee if you use your card. And there's no way to buy a wash when you are buying gas outside at the cash station. So make sure you head in and ask someone in person for gas, and buy the wash then - otherwise you miss out on your $0.10/gallon discount (like I did!) read more

I love this spot! Have been coming here for about 6 months or so to get my gas, as well as some stuff from the store. They have a ton of variety of snacks upon walking in and the workers are extremely friendly each time I've been there. They seem to only hire the caring, well experienxed in customer service kind of employees here. The location is also very convienent for me as well considering it's right outside a major entrance to Folsom lake, near the Folsom city limits and right off Green Valley Rd. read more

This ARCO is my favorite ARCO around town. It has plenty of space and pumps for cars to move easily in and out of the gas station. *I really dislike gas stations that are super tight and you feel like you are just inching by the cars around you.* In addition to being a great location, this ARCO always has the lowest priced gas among the other ARCOs . I can always count on at least 20-30 cents less per gallon than the going rate around town. Furthermore, another great feature is their car wash. While at the pump, if you buy a car wash, it will save you another 10 cents per gallon. I usually am going to get a car wash anyways, therefore it's a nice little added bonus to get another 10 cents off. Adding onto to this, you can also buy a car wash membership and get unlimited car washes for 19.99 a month. Not a bad deal if you get car washes frequently. Also, after your car wash, there are free vacuums that you can use to clean out the inside of your car. This is a very nice feature to have. To conclude, this is the gas station to go to if you are in the area. read more

This is the worst Arco ever. Don't even come here in the hours between 2am to 3am. It's always closed even when the attendant is in the store with "someone other than an employee". I understand that other Arcos close for a little bit to do accounting or whatever but for a whole hour? I don't even know why I've always tried to come here after work. It's just a waste of time. Too bad for the owners because it seems to be a well maintained place. They should try to check up on their after hours employees. Never again will I give this place a chance. read more

The Super Clean car wash is great and Dennis is fantastic! He's always friendly and super helpful! Highly recommend.

Dennis has got to be, hands down, their greatest asset. I went to get my truck washed and asked what the height requirement was for my car due to the fact it's lower to the ground. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He told me to bring it in and ask for him when I got there. I brought the car and he looked at it. Said "yea no problem. We'll do a test wash to make sure it goes through alright." I can't say enough about this gentleman and his attitude. He was completely happy to help and showed genuine concern. I will definitely continue to come to this location due to his outstanding service and helpfulness. read more

I'd say 2.5 stars would be appropriate. Decided to pick up some nightcrawlers before I went fishing the other day only to find out once I got to the lake that there were none inside the container. FYI always double-check this from now on as I bought $5 bucket of dirt instead of getting the bait that I needed to catch fish. The dude wouldn't give me a refund only exchange and they didn't even have any more nightcrawlers. Will be buying from Chevron from now on read more
