I made an appointment, confirmed via text, and drove to the office. During the pandemic, you're required to call when you arrive and they'll let you into their space. I called, they said they had tried to reach me to see if I wanted an online appointment instead and if I'd rather do that. Was very confused because I was literally asking them to open the door for me, standing AT THEIR OFFICE. They let me in, but it felt like they didn't want me there. When I got there I waited like 3 minutes (I think I was the only customer) for the doc to see me. My consultation was on laser hair removal but dr.anu quickly let me know I was not a good candidate (apparently you have to be super hairy with thick dark hair). It was literally a 5 minute interaction and then I left. On one hand I nearly felt it a waste to have come to the office, but on the other, I appreciated that she was honest and didn't try to sell me on anything. I'd say based on the consultation alone, I didn't really find this place comforting or friendly at all. However, it might have just been because of the pandemic? They offer a lot of spa services and definitely were the most responsive out of the multiple med spas I called. Their prices seem fair and they also had the best reviews, so I'd still recommend giving this place a try.

But at the end of the day, after following a strict diet, exercising AND getting laser lipo, 2 inches overall is NOT worth $3500. I feel like such a fool for believing that you can pay for fat loss. I will now be paying on my care credit card for over a year, a monthly reminder of my bad decision. In response to the comment about my cruise vacation .... prior to leaving on the cruise I had only lost 1 1/2 inches on a very strict diet. The ear had been split for several years, and I wore clipped earrings until I decided to get the ear repaired. Today, the stubs came out, and I finally saw the results. Amazing! My earlobe is healed, and I am ready to wear pierced earrings again. Believe it or not, it's been about 30 years since I wore pierced earrings! The care was phenomenal. Dr. Spears is an A-1 plastic surgeon and a female to boot. The staff members are the nicest people you ever want to meet. Customer service is exceptional, above and beyond what you typically get in a doctor's office. Reminder notifications are sent in a timely fashion. Staff will take the time to personally phone you if there are concerns or a missed appointment. But most of all, the team relates to patients on a personal level. Today, I called to change the appointment time, and Stephanie, the office manager, asked me about a health concern I shared with her during one of my visits. She then said she had thought of me and prayed for my recovery. It was so lovely of her to say that to me. All of the staff members demonstrate that level of personal care and concern. There is very little wait time. I have only waited up to 15 minutes to see the doctor. I have always been seen within a reasonable time frame of my appointment time. I can't say that for most practices. The office is clean, and the decor is warm and inviting. I don't know if I will have reason to use a plastic surgeon again, but if I do, and the concern fits her expertise, I'm there! I'll find some reason to go back! STAY FAR AWAY! I had…read morean appointment scheduled for 12/12 at 2:15 PM. On 12/11 at 10:04 AM, I received a text asking me to confirm with "Y" or cancel with "X." I was at work and wasn't able to respond immediately. By 11:18 AM the same morning, my appointment had already been rescheduled without my consent. When I reached out for clarification, Jazmine asked if I wanted to reschedule. I explained that I found it strange and concerning that my appointment could be moved without notifying me. She insisted that nobody had rescheduled it, even though I had the confirmation texts proving otherwise. I sent screenshots in case there was an internal issue with messages not showing, but she continued to repeat that "nobody moved it." Because I've had previous negative experiences with SkinLaundry, this incident with Jazmine was the final straw. Being told something didn't happen, when I had proof it did, is just dishonesty. When I ultimately canceled my membership, she added a note claiming that I was rude to the staff during scheduling. My screenshots show the opposite. At no point was I rude; instead, Jazmine was dismissive and unprofessional. When speaking verbally on the phone, she told me she had apologized in the text messages, yet there is no apology anywhere in the conversation. I then spoke with the manager on the phone who essentially brushed off my concerns and told me I was being "snarky" for simply asking whether my appointment would keep getting rescheduled. As a paying client, I think it's reasonable to want consistency and transparency. Overall, I cannot recommend SkinLaundry. Their customer service is unprofessional, and the environment is biased. Managers seem more interested in protecting their staff than addressing legitimate concerns. On top of that, the treatments themselves are not worth the cost; there are other places that use more effective lasers and deliver faster results. I found them to be very affordable compared to other quotes that I received and they did amazing work. They were also flexible with rescheduling (due to the pandemic) and honoring rates. From the moment I met her , I loved her personality. The owner Demeka is very talented. She has styled my hair in a number of ways that I have admired and have received numerous compliments on . Demeka places a strong emphasis on hair maintenance and growth and takes great pride in her work. Pros: A lovely, tranquil, local hair salon that is also affordable . Cons: The problem in and of itself is reliability. Over the course of my time with Faith & Grey repetitive lateness and last minute cancellations has been very consistent. But I loved her work and she was so local that I chose to stay with her. More recently there's been times I've reached out to her for an appointment confirmation & shes told me that shes running late or is unavailable for my scheduled appointment-this being within an hour or two of my actual appointment & I reaching out to her. She rarely reached out to me to let me know she'd be late or unavailable for my appointment . Communication definitely needs to improve. Furthermore, a majority of the time she didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Consequently , I am now forced to find a new stylist but will miss her styling.
