Another patient was playing political speech on speakerphone, and a second patient responded by clapping and cheering. I approached the front desk to flag the situation, but the staff member deferred to the office manager, who took no action. When I brought it up with the doctor, his response was equally dismissive. When I asked him if he supported this behavior, he said he saw no issue in allowing someone to listen to whatever they want on their device (without headphones...). When I also pressed on if he supported the person (giving the speech in the recoding being played), he told me he doesn't discuss politics because "this is a place of business" -- which is PRECISELY the POINT. If the office holds that standard, it should be applied consistently, including when patients are creating a politically charged atmosphere that makes others uncomfortable in a small space like the waiting room. A medical office should be a neutral, welcoming space for ALL patients. The failure of staff and the physician to address disruptive behavior in the waiting room reflects poorly on this practice's commitment to patient comfort and professionalism. I hope they revisit their policies around maintaining a respectful environment. And to be honest, as a woman, I do not feel safe or respected at this practice. Not only were 2 men allowed to behave this way in the waiting room, but what was to be my exam appt (skin check), was a MALE DR AND MALE ASSISTANT. No female present in the room with me. I refused the appt anyway due to the situation, but it's clear women are not provided a supportive/comfortable space...

Today I drive 1 hour and 15 minutes to my appointment just to be told I needed to pay the "newest" membership fee which has now increased AND pay first and last months memberships fees. So basically $300. When I got upset, the response was "I'm sorry, our system isn't set up that way" So basically they WANT you to not know when your membership is up, so they can screw you over. Not to mention that after several of my appointments, I could clearly see that whatever amount they were giving me was clearly not enough, or they water down their Botox. 3 weeks after my appointment my face was still moving as if nothing was done. They conveniently don't tell you how many units you received, so you can't question the amount. I had to drive back to the office to get additional Botox because no changes were seen on 2 separate occasions. Not exactly convenient when you live an hour away! There are plenty of other places that offer "botox memberships" so please do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake.

It was exceedingly quick and non-eventful, and I didn't feel especially positive or negative afterward so I skipped leaving a review. Fast forward a couple years, and I develop a rash in my armpit and a cyst on my thigh all within a few weeks of one another. The rash was getting worse so I decided to make an appointment with a skin specialist. On the day I decided to do this, the office was closed, but I found you could schedule your own appointment via ZocDoc, which I did, for the very next day! The front desk staff were extremely nice, and the medical assistant who worked with me was even more kind. I'm kinda mad at myself that I forgot her name, but she was great. Ari Gordon was the PA who saw me, and he gave me answers/advice/prescriptions for all of my problems. While I was there I figured I'd also get a wart on my toe treated, which he did while doing his best to be supportive through the surprising amount of pain the cryotherapy caused. I have a follow-up scheduled with him in a few weeks and can now confidently say I had a good experience here and will be back! The whole process was very convenient and low-stress.

Despite multiple voicemails and emails, I received one reply that "someone would call me within the day", which did not happen even after I tried following up.

I got a deeper peel so some of my skin frosted but thats what I wanted. A few days later, my skin looked even younger. Definitely will do this again. Its a great deal too. I seriously don't know how I haven't written this review…read more First, some back story. In 2011 my dad was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive skin cancer. About 3,000 people worldwide are diagnosed with this every year. Anyhow we're fortunate to be in Philly where there is world class medicine, and he's a retired Union telephone worker which meant his health insurance was good. What does this have to do with Dr. Turner? Good question. Many of the doctors who took care of my dad were very specialized. When I asked if they'd look at a spot on my skin, they said no, because they don't see routine skin issues. Instead, his team sent me to Dr. Turner. I've been seeing her ever since. Her office is on the ground floor of a professional building near Bryn Mawr Hospital. Easy to get to and plenty of parking in their rear lot, which is also the building main entrance. Her office is clean and bright, her staff friendly and she's very easy to talk to, especially when I'm always secretly terrified I'll also get a rare cancer like dad (not hereditary). I would recommend her for medical dermatology in a heartbeat. I don't use any cosmetic skin care so I can't peak to that.
