The aesthetician frequently ensured I was comfortable during the facial. After I was done, I noticed results immediately! My skin was glowing and any irritation from the facial resolved within an hour. I was even complimented by strangers for how nice my skin looked. Will definitely be returning again!

However, I was not made aware during the time of booking that the cost of Botox injectables is not necessarily based off cost/unit. In my previous Botox injections, a simple lip flip & nasolabial injection for a gummy smile costs an average of 150-200. Average units for me is anywhere from 8-12. Upon checking out at the Garden, I was informed that my $100 deposit would be subtracted from the total cost. I was then informed at the time of checking out my total cost for services would total $325 for a lip flip!! And that was after my deposit was subtracted. I was informed that VIP members have different perks, and that I would have to pay the price for the specific area. I'm very upset that I was 1) not informed of the cost before booking and 2) obligated to pay almost double for a procedure that should have been significantly less. I loved the staff at the location and my injector however, I feel as though I have been scammed for the services. I'm very disappointed in the pricing and lack of communication and cost before booking. I cannot afford to pay for services for something so simple, and will unfortunately not be able to return.

The reaction was so bad I ended up at Urgent Care and then several days later, at my dermatologist for help. Unfortunately, no help from Garden Medical Spa. The owner call me (after I left two messages) and said this is normal. He never ask me to come in, just continued to say hang in there. After being on medication to heal the reaction, the swollenness has subsided, but the itching and redness is still here. The effect from this process has left my skin dry and wrinkled. It is as if, my skin looks worse. This is NOT the establishment you want to go to for any treatments, as they will not stand by their mistakes or help in any way :=(( I have truly been on my own.

Pro-Tip- scheduling an appointment in advance makes you appear like VIP member. Most times, you are greeted upon arrival and it's lessens wait time. Anyway, I filled out a waiver form to ensure my body would be able to handle the frigid elements which is standard. Then I was taken to the back to strip down. I was given a park of thick socks, Ugg's, gloves and knee warmers (although I didn't use them) to prepare myself. As a man, I kept my undies on and hopped into the chamber. Once inside, the temp ended up getting to -250 and I stayed inside for 3 mins. Let me tell you, ITS WAS COLD! Once outside, my body immediately felt better and soreness seemed to decrease. Duh it's not a private spa. They say that on the website where you book the appointment. I personally found people's background conversations calming as background noise and I liked the ease of just being able to pop in to get my facial and go. 2. They don't push products or services on you. At least not in my experience. When I booked, it asked if I wanted to consider any add-ons and I marked yes. During my session, my esthetician suggested one and we tried it. At the end of my session, my esthetician recommended two products and emailed them to me so I could decide later. They were specific to my needs and what I told her were my struggles. At check out, I was asked if I would consider a membership or booking ahead, but no one was pushy or made me feel uncomfortable. I felt super comfortable there the entire time! 3. Some yelp reviewers said they experienced break outs after. You take a risk of break outs with any treatment you try and it's why dermatologists warn people before getting a facial. I don't have very sensitive skin so I had no particular concerns. You can always ask them to not go as wild during the extractions. My experience: 1. I found my esthetician to be efficient, courteous, and attentive. I love the service she provided and I walked out of this facial more relaxed than I've walked out of full-body massages. 2. I didn't love the nano wand infusion and would probably skip it the next time I go. If you have the budget for it, try it, but I didn't feel much of a difference. 3. For any facial newbies, blow your nose before lol. Aside from some redness on where I had especially tricky extractions, my skin came out soothed and ready for the week at hand. She frequently cut me off before I could finish my questions and made me feel as though my concerns were stupid or an inconvenience. The overall impression was that she couldn't be bothered and just wanted to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. Elective surgery is a major and personal decision, and respectful, supportive communication is essential. This interaction caused me to lose confidence in the patient experience at this office, and because of it, I decided not to proceed with another consultation or surgery here.
