If I could leave one star I would. I ordered flowers for my dearest friends birthday and what she got delivered after the business was closed was not even remotely close to what I ordered. This is a horrible florist and I would advise everyone to stay away unless you want your special gift ruined. If I lived in Fairbanks, I would have taken the flowers back and demanded them to either refund me my money or make my arrangement right. My family lives in Southern California. A relative of ours passed away in Fox, AK. We ordered a memorial spray from another florist online, paid for it then on the morning of the Celebration of Life, happening a 2pm that day, the florist emailed that they couldn't deliver the arrangement. I contacted Hoa Brickley at Arctic Floral and explained our situation. She came though with incredible service, created a beautiful arrangement and delivered it 40 miles away from her shop, on time as a mile of semi's & pick-ups arrived for the celebration. I made the purchase online. I called the next day and got the answering machine that hadn't been updated. It said they were closed through the holidays until January 2nd. It is currently January 19th. I called three times during the day and nobody ever answered the phone. I am not sure what the result will be yet. they eventually called the cell number I left. they had problems getting the card to go through. they were able to get the flowers there and they looked great. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible! My husband is currently deployed for a year so I have been alone in Alaska for quite a few holidays. My Aunt set up for this company to deliver me flowers at work the day before Christmas Eve. The flowers did not come until 10 minutes before 5pm. I leave work at 4:30. Who delivers flowers to a business that late? When my Aunt called asking if I liked my surprise, I had no idea what she was talking about. Went to the address to see if I could pick them up so I would have flowers on Christmas, and their address leads you to nowhere! My husband set up for flowers to be delivered to me at work the Friday before Easter. He ordered and paid TWO WEEKS in advance! THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! He had to call Ft. Wainwright from Afghanistan and have them patch him a line to this floral shop to find out why I never got the flowers. They told him, "Sometimes we we don't get the online orders." WHAT?! The flowers showed up on my porch the next day with a blank card and my first name spelled wrong. Here I am thinking some random person sent me flowers and it was from my husband who typed out a whole sweet and cute message for me that they never included. Blank! HORRIBLE. I dont know why I bother with this florist, I would be better off ordering from ftd and pay the outrageous shipping to Alaska it would be less of a headache then ordering from these people. I ordered what was supposed to be a stunning bouquet of red roses & lillies, I got some red roses and some funny looking plant I had never seen before. I had them sent to my wife she sent a pic of them to me I wash shocked that there was not a single lilly to be found. Since I often work long hours they were closed by the time I got a chance to call. She answered the phone hello I said is this arctic floral, she was talking to someone else in the background again I said is this arctic floral yes yes it is can you hold for a minute! What? are you serious? It was clear she was not at the shop finally she stopped speaking to whom ever and asked if she could help me. I told her what the problem was and she said oh well I dont know why you got no lillys , yes she said it just like that and her answer to all of it was well we are closed on weekends, we just do deliveries, we can send some lillies on Monday when we are open! I said are you going to deliver a whole arraingment she said no just the lillies!!!!! So your going to send me lillies to go with my wifes roses that will have already started to die? That will make a wonderful arraingement. I WILL NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN AND WILL MAKE SURE NO ONE ELSE I KNOW WILL EITHER. I was nervous about placing an order for such an important occasion with a business over 3,300 miles from my home. I was taking a leap of faith that what I ordered would be delivered on time and wouldn't be a wilted handful of weeds. My sister, the recipient of the order, was blown away. She wasn't home on the scheduled delivery date so instead of just dumping the order at her door and walking away, Arctic Floral waited a day and returned the next day when she was home. Fairbanks is 20 degrees below at this time of year so minutes in the arctic air would have killed my order. Arctic Floral's good sense saved me, them, and my sister a huge disappointment. The flowers themselves wowed my sister. Delicate tulips in creams and pinks, unusual greens plumping out the arrangement and an elegant glass vase.
