I learned the importance of what "standing seam" means - basically it means there are no exposed fasteners. With the exposed fastener type, which is the cheaper type you have a strong potential down the road for water incursion. Ron does a true standing seam metal roof where there are NO exposed fasteners. He knows all about installing metal roofs. His crew were very courteous, professional and diligent hard workers. Ron was on the job and hands on the whole time. He has a very expensive machine with the rolls of metal so he can cut the correct sizes right on the property. The fact is that my house here in Maine is just a mobile home.
