We're selling the items out of it as it doesn't work in the new modern house. The place is clean, has many available dolly's/carts to move in items and/or move out items. Units are nice. They also take a credit card and auto bill monthly. NOTE: Having rented storage units all over the country there are 2 things I don't like about storage units in general. 1). The lighting inside the units always sucks. Never lighting in the unit. With LED these days being so inexpensive add some lighting that's motion activated. 2.) Accessibility some locations limit your access time. You say can't get in after like 8:00 PM - Why? It's locked, it's pin accessed - they have security cameras, so why?

I used the Yelp App to locate a place to recycle a 65" Flat Screen Samsung TV that had quit. I did…read morenot want to just throw it in the landfill. The App sent out two requests under the projects program for responses. Within 24 hours I received two excellent responses that fit my needs. The first was a local nonprofit recycling center with 6 miles. The other was Total Reclaim. Total Reclaim operates a recycling business that accepts on site delivery of recycling products including TV's and other electronics. I consulted their website for details and location and they were 50 miles away. They also have a pickup service in their local area but only rarely in my area. They do charge fees for their services. I choose the local facility because of closeness and smaller fees. It cost me just $7 to recycle the 100 pound TV. I encourage people to use the services of Total Recall when needed. The Anchorage Landfill operates a limited recycling program at the main landfill in Eagle River. It accepts glass which the MatSu Borough Landfill will not. They also accept hazardous materials but I am unsure about electronics. Check the websites for ALL locations to get details and costs concerning their individual operations. I encourage everyone to use the recycling programs to reduce waste, contamination and pollution.

You park in a garage and get to unload/load your goodies in warmth. They have a spot for unwanted items. Many items we left were taken immediately, people seem to be grateful. 5x10 units run about $169/month. Their largest unit is a 10x10, but beware, some of the 10x10 doors are small...which for us, defeated the purpose of renting a unit that large. This U-Haul location has multiple levels with elevators and carts available to use. All workers encountered were helpful and hardworking. The place was always being cleaned and looked after. Cameras everywhere.

I actually like the fact they are a new 8 month new U-Haul facility in town with newer trucks. New arrangements made, I was happy and it was ready for my pickup the next day when they switched my reservation to here from Old Seward. I actually liked their location better. The Dog Show and Football Team's loading and unloading went off on time and without a hitch thanks to U-Hauls Customer Service.

U-Haul is always there for us. Garment boxes, packing boxes, lamp boxes, packing tape and bubble pack, hand trucks and blankets they literally have everything you need. Rented pull behind trailers to their largest truck and every size in between. A couple times when they've run out of the size truck you want, they give you an alternate usually bigger for the same price. So you get reliable self-moving at a reasonable price and great service.
