What should have been a 4-day job took them 4 weeks. I constantly had to talk to the owner about the need to get the job finished. At the end of each day, the work site was a mess. The painters left turned over soda cans on my carpet, trash in the yard, etc. There was paint dripped all over the floors, garage floor, and driveway. I had to specifically tell them to remove the dripped paint (that should have been done without me saying as much). One day I caught the painters fishing on my pond rather than painting. When the work was finally "done," it was an amateur effort at best. I had to hire another contractor to repaint. I don't even want to go into details about the payment fiasco in which I had to submit a dispute claim with Paypal. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

Called to request a foundation inspection, as the home is 30 years old, we have some very minor…read moretile cracks, and do see some seasonal movement in door openings (mostly one upstairs one). Some brickwork is cracked around suspended arches and cornerstone decorative pieces (e.g. above garage doors) but obviously has been for decades. I specifically called Cornerstone because I wanted a serious contractor who does actual poured footings, not that stacked cylinder mess that could actually crack your foundation worse as they use your house for the jack leverage. Dave was on time, courteous and (given that our appointment was in the middle of the Viral Apocalypse) understanding that I was working from home instead of 'off' for the day of our appointment. We spoke for a bit, he outlined everything well and asked pertinent questions about my reasons for calling, then got down to work inspecting...and recommended no work be done at this time. I offered to pay a service charge but he said that wasn't necessary. We did follow up on the phone briefly (I was busy when he was finished) and I am strongly considering coming back to them for some drainage improvements here and there as precautionary measures.
