The food was pretty good, I got an omelette and it was a decent size and the home fries that came with it were great. My only complaint is that we came in with a group of 7 and they said it would be a 10-15 minute wait, but it ended up being closer to 40 minutes. I understand that it can happen when a restaurant is busy but it was not busy at all, there were plenty of open tables and they for some reason were waiting on 2 specific tables to push together. I know that it can be difficult to accommodate a large group but 7 is not that big and there were also plenty of free tables that they could have pushed together, but they for some reason chose not to. Overall, the food was good, but I would not recommend coming here with a group of more than 4 people. read more

Arrived here at 2:05 and they were nice enough to seat us even though the restaurant closes at 2. There was no wait when we arrived but I have seen a line form outside on weekends around brunch-time. The food was great. Going to attach pictures as I think they speak for themselves. Long list of inventive pancakes. Highly recommend. Great place for brunch! I went on a Saturday and the wait wasn't way too long unlike other brunch places. I got the traditional eggs benedict and my friend got the smoked salmon eggs benedict. Both were very good! I will definitely be back. read more

The breakfast here is SO GOOD but good luck getting a table. There is always a wait. It's always 100% packed to the gills. The staff are always completely overwhelmed and rushed and therefore the service is always slow. That said, if you can deal with all that, I have never found a menu item that was amazing. I've had a few of the full fat options (eggs Benedict, homefries, waffles, pancakes, bacon, etc) as well as lighter stuff (egg white veggie omelet, I think granola one time). I still had to wait because there was a couple sitting 2 tables over waiting to be served and they were here before me. I couldn't have been more excited to be headed to the Ardmore Station Cafe this morning with my family and our good friends for a brunch in celebration of my and my sister's upcoming graduations from college and grad school. Unfortunately, the cafe did not live up to any of our expectations. The food ranged from very good to excellent; at my table, the favorites seemed to be the french toast sampler and the bagel and lox platter. Everything was also very reasonably priced. Despite the quality of the meal, I have to say I will probably not be returning anytime soon because of the horrible service we received. As a matter of fact, I can't remember a time I was ever treated more rudely by a waitress. The nasty attitude first became quite noticeable when we received our coffee and asked for silverware so we could stir our cream and sugar into our mugs. The waitress snapped at us that someone else would bring us silverware when she was done putting it together. After at least five minutes of waiting with our coffees getting cold, someone at my table got up and found a spoon for us all to share. When our food was brought out, we again requested silverware, and were reminded, "Yeah, she'll bring it over when she's ready." What would it take to bring a table of six people silverware so they could begin eating their meals? We had to continue to wait. When we finally had our coffee refilled, we asked for more cream, and were scolded, "You still have some left." When we replied that the splash of cream left in the pitcher would not be enough for all of us, the waitress huffed and brought us a new pitcher, announcing in a mocking, sing-songy tone, "I filled it up all the way to the tippy-top, okay?" When she came back once more to see how the meal was progressing, rather than asking if she could bring us anything, she asked, "You guys are doing fine, right?" When we responded that we were, she replied, "Good." The check was brought long before we were finished eating, and we were never offered new coffee refills. I wish I knew the waitress's name so that I could report her to the manager, but she never introduced herself. Listen, I don't care how good your food is. If you are willing to let your servers treat your customers in such a disgusting manner, it's just not worth it. What a shame, because brunch was delicious. read more

While I'd love to branch out and try their french toast or pancakes, I'm a creature of habit and I get one of the breakfast burritos every time. This place is absolutely fantastic. One of the best places to grab brunch in the Main Line area. I highly recommend the S'Mores French Toast when they have it on their brunch menu because it might just be the best french toast I have ever had. The eggs are good as well, and so are the potatoes. Service can be hit or miss sometimes, especially when they're busy. If you're planning on going during the weekend, be prepared to wait--this place isn't that big and a lot of people want to grab a delicious brunch. Normally, I would say this brunch place was okay besides the 40 minute wait for the food. Today was the worst experience. I ordered a veggie omelette with a side of turkey bacon and found a piece of hair in the bacon. Went back and asked for a new side and a few minutes later, the waiter comes over, apologizes and puts the plate down. The turkey bacon was burnt to the point where there was barely any meat left. I've been coming to this place for over ten years and I rarely have a problem with it. But today, it was the service that was off. I came with my parents. Now I don't know if this server was new or what but my parents each ordered water and it never came. Then again they ordered water..and it never came. Excellent French toast and pancakes, which seem to be their specialty. They have an interesting variety of each. The bacon and sausage was also superb. They do a very crispy bacon - not burned, but not greasy, either. My wife declared it perfect, but if you like your bacon with a little more flex to it, you may differ. The coffee is also very good, and it's not unreasonably priced if you get at least two cups. They were very accommodating of our 2 year old and responded quickly and cheerfully to a spill. French Toast stuffed with cream cheese and marshmallows and chocolate etc, etc, is "gourmet" for people who shop at Walmart. Our waitress didn't even ask us if we wanted anything else before she slapped the check on our table...and didn't even give us a chance to ask her for anything as she disappeared like a shot. Everything was fantastic, except the cheap little packets of maple flavored syrup. The portion was big, the presentation was great, the flavors were good, but c'mon? 2 smuckers syrup packets? I think I saw on the menu there was a 2 dollar up charge for real syrup, but my waitress never brought it up, so I didn't even think about it. Nothing against her.
