My daughter had a slice of the Quiche Lorraine with a small Sharazi Salad and I had a hot Croissant stuffed with Ham and Swiss Cheese with a small Chicken Bowtie Salad. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The Quiche Lorraine was the perfect slice with lots of bacon and swiss cheese and my daughter polished off her nearly her entire Sharazi salad leaving me just a couple of forkfuls to try. The hot Croissant with Ham and Swiss Cheese was delicious and the croissant was perfect; not greasy with just the right amount of butter for flavor. There was a ton of sliced sweet ham (honey baked???) and cheese. We also got a couple of desserts to go (Chocolate covered Strawberry, Chocolate Cupcake with Chocolate Icing and Chocolate Truffle Chocolate Covered Cake) that look absolutely delicious and we can't wait to dig in. They have one small table for two outside, but just down the block towards Lancaster Ave. is a large tent that allows outdoor seating for all of the N. Wayne Ave. restaurants in case the Elegance Cafe's only table is taken. The server behind the counter was very friendly and gave us a warm greeting and salutation after we received our order. The service consisted of two ladies in the dining room and they seemed to complement each other by overlapping duties, if one was busy the other would step up and help out. I have noticed that at other restaurants, one server will let another drown with duties and never help out, I enjoyed seeing the team work in action today. The restaurant itself is a well designed environment even the Men's Restroom was interesting and well kept. When I am in the area, I would definitely eat here again for the good food, in proper portions and a clean restaurant.

Their coffee drinks are very good, and while not the best I have had, they are fun, tasty and they will make special additions simply if you've ask. In my case I ordered a simple cappuccino but they added little heart sprinkles for Valentine's Day since it is upcoming, even though the drink doesn't have them. The biggest problem I had was trying to decide what to actually choose from the menu because I was faced with way too many options that I wanted. I ultimately went with "the Bella", a portobello sandwich, which comes on your choice of bread, or any of their bagels, of which I chose the egg everything. Within a few bites I knew that this was easily within the top three bagel sandwiches I had ever had, and I am very critical of bagels and have had a TON of bagels and bagel sandwiches, coming from a kosher deli family. I also had the soup of the day which was a brilliant chicken noodle with awesome large macaroni elbows that just totally kicked it up. In our entire visit we only encountered one thing that was bothersome and it wasn't with my food but with our table's, and this was likely due to expectations. The jalapeño cheddar bagel is simply a plain bagel with a slice of cheddar and diced jalapeños on top. Now it was still outstandingly delicious, but I feel like we were under the impression it would be cooked into the dough and the entirety of the bagel. This wasn't the case and I can't knock them for it because it was still fantastic; aesthetics be damned! You should definitely visit here if you have not been here yet, and I can guarantee you will be coming back again and again.
