Great restaurant! The service was outstanding from the greeter to my waitress Laura who was attentive to my needs. The restaurant is large, it has two floors. They were busy with groups so I had the whole second floor to myself. The coffee they serve is delicious, it is a freshly ground Italian variety. The menu is large, I ordered the Jumbo Lump Crabmeat and Tomato Omelet. It was delicious! The omelet was covered with hollandaise sauce and two perfectly steamed asparagus spears. I came here to meet up with my family for a brunch before leaving town. It was a nice time overall. No wait. Got seated upstairs immediately. Our server was nice. Stopped in early one morning with friends after working out nearby, and the breakfast was pretty tasty, reasonably priced, and served quickly. This location has a nice first floor space (although it was a bit cramped). They also have a second floor which I did not go up and see). The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was what you would expect to get at diner type of restaurants, and my friends and I enjoyed. I ordered a bowl of oatmeal with choice of toppings, I ordered cinnamon apple which was a canned with a sprinkles of cinnamon, sliced banana, raisins and brown sugar oatmeal was ok, I ordered the southwest omelet which came out the same time with the oatmeal, not happy about The omelet was a far cry from a southwest omelet it was dry warm. I returned it and asked for a classic breakfast with eggs over medium not runny, eggs came out over easy and runny. Service was poor server was did not on me. Manager and servers was counter conversing, gave management my feedback on eggs cooking techniques. Her statement was the eggs over easy was eggs over medium. Oh yeah! New breakfast lunch spot 5 min walk from my house And ...it's Nudy's! I've eaten at other Nudy's locations so I'm familiar with their menu. I was craving pancakes and I forgot how delicious and moist they are . I ordered the short stack with the egg and meat combo. Lots of choices for meats- I love corned beef hash with my eggs and pancakes. Coffee was fresh and had great blended flavor. Perfect breakfast! Service was excellent- our server came back and checked twice and offered to refresh my coffee. Decor- brand new brightness of light from big windows in upstairs seating . Previously the building was used as a bank - upstairs were offices . Parking is limited. We were seated right away 9 am on a rainy Sunday, however , I've passed this place in the past weeks around 10 on weekends and the place is packed. Get there early. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. It has a nice diner feel and the service was very, very nice and helpful. Been coming to this location since it opened and have dined other locations as well. I recently had a incident where my waffle came from the kitchen with a black hair on it (I have no hair). I noticed it half way thru the dish and showed the waitress. She immediately gasped and said, "OMG, that is disgusting", and went about her way. I was expecting her to say, let me take that away and get you another, or, of course we'll take that off your bill. No. So when I went to leave I asked her to let the manager know what happened. She did, and told me the manager said she would take half off the bill. I was fine with that since I had scrambled eggs and ham on a different plate. But when I went to pay, the manager said she would only take half off the waffle plate ($5). I didn't think that was appropriate having to pay for 1/2 the waffle so I wrote to the owner of the company, Mr Nudy, telling him that I frequent his establishments, 4-5 times a week, always give the waiters a 50% cash tip (to let him know money was not the reason I was writing). I was not looking for a credit. I thought it was an opportunity for him to improve management skills throughout his business. I have NOT received a reply from Mr Nudy in the 2 + weeks since the incident on 12/4. I was told 2 weeks ago by another manager who called him regarding the incident that he read my email and 'was going' to call me. He did not call. I love all NUDY's, but I only tried this one once and I will say it was disappointing just to say the house omelette was not that good and I try a lot of omelettes everywhere and it was kind of dry and flat and it doesn't bacon in it. The only flavor I could taste was bacon, which can be good but if you order many other things, I'm sure it would be fantastic so I may try it again, but I I have all different kinds of omelets- A lot of veggie omelettes in many places. This was a House omelette, which was recommended which I appreciate from the waitress who was very nice, but it was not that good of a omelette.!! and I was sorry that we didn't try a different restaurant, but I'm sure that all the items that are sweet all their pancakes and everything are probably fantastic!! This was the worst restaurant experience I have had in a decade. We waited 30 mins without even a glass of water to drink. Then when we received our breakfast after 40 mins of waiting, it was practically inedible. The oatmeal was a watery gruel. The fruit was tasteless, worse than a motel breakfast. My husband's and son's eggs were not hot. The host was doing her best, but our food server was incompetent or inexperienced or both. And the food was worse than disappointing. The service person was cheery and welcoming and the restaurant had a nice environment and feel. The creamed chipped beef was pretty good. Two slices of toast with a conservative ladle's worth of creamed chipped beef and a good portion of hash browns. My wife's breakfast burrito was gigantic. Now my beef: The price for a side of scrapple was $7.99. (That's two bricks of Habbersett at the market). Though pricey, I was expecting at least a half inch thickness or two pieces. What I received was an overly fried piece about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into eight pieces (see photo), it came out to $1.00 per bite. If they had charged $4.00, I would have been OK, but eight bucks?! I felt ripped off. I'll go back, but scrapple lovers beware. The size of the piece is pretty much wafer thin. Therefore, three stars for price gouging on the scrapple. read more

It's a chain restaurant and can't hold a candle to some of the local offerings in Havertown, such as Kettle, Tuscany Cafe, or Havertown Grille. Hash brown/home fries chef does not know the difference. Eggs were done right. Margin and toasted Rye bread,, no flavoring either. I don't believe culinary team is trained professionally. Most likely school hard knocks. They need more hard knocks. The food quality is cut, rate. Maybe each franchise runs a separate P&L , food quality at the armor. Location is much higher. I feel this level of disrespect for this area because people will eat slop and don't complain about it. Ambience is really good. Too bad. The food doesn't reflect that. I think the chain in this area will eventually close. There are people in this area who know what good food tastes like, this place isn't serving good food. I am a regular customer at this location. I've noticed over the past year they can't seem to keep employees or managers. I come in early in the morning and sit at the counter. I usually talk to Lowell or Lisa but two weeks ago I was there and the owner was calling because Lisa was spending to much time talking to me. I looked around and not one other customer was there not to mention she was doing side work while we were chatting. I come in early because I enjoy chatting with Lisa or Lowell or whoever is there. I just picked up a belated Mothers Day brunch order. What a terrible experience. The order was completely screwed up! My wife and I ordered Tuscan omelets, one without cheese for me because of my allergy. My wife complained about the bland taste. It turned out that mine was the one with the cheese, which pretty much ruined my day. The containers had been mislabeled. My daughter ordered a Nutella crepe, which came without any Nutella! I called Cooper, the manager, and was told that he could not refund my cash payment, nor issue a store credit. His only solution was to offer a corrected order. We ordered the Melba French toast, home fries, bacon, and chocolate chip pecan pancakes. The home fries had zero seasoning at all. Not even salt and pepper. My companion ordered them as well and hers were just as bland. The Melba French toast was terrible. It tasted like someone just smeared mixed berry Go-Gurt on it and called it a day.
