A sour beer, can semi see the alien sitting on the roof in the background.

Area 61 taphouse is amazing! Such a fun place to hang out, listen to live tunes, catch sports games and enjoy a variety of food trucks and beer from everywhere. Since this is a taphouse, they've got beers of all variety from all over. Over a couple days and a couple visits we tried hazys, sours, cream ales, etc. All the beers we tried were great and the beer tenders were knowledgeable and friendly. The environment is fun with all the aliens throughout including on the roof, next door is a back 9 golf thing. Didn't try the food trucks but they were very popular, even from people just stopping by for just the food and no drinks. This is a great place.

Such a cute spot! Alien themed, but very well done and not super cheesy. They also have a variety of food trucks onsite (burgers, Caribbean, Mexican, etc) for plenty of options for your entire group. Their beer selection includes tons of craft beers from the local area as well as some national brands like Coors. The staff is so friendly and helpful as well and you can tell they take pride in their offerings and space. They also have a driving range onsite which looks super fun! You could bring anyone here, kids, grandparents, and everyone would find something to enjoy. I would highly recommend checking out this spot and staying for a good time!

They have definitely improved since our first visit opening weekend. There is a great variety of of food trucks and you can now get wine by the glass. They could use a a second person working in the taproom to move things along a bit faster. The vibe is nice and low key, kid friendly and dog friendly too!

    Great seating!

The "pods" (food truck/trailers) offer a good variety of fresh food. The service is awesome and the atmosphere is great and just gets better! Everything is clean and well kept. They just built an outdoor stage and grass area and are going to break ground on miniature golf/driving range soon! Awesome!

Went here for a date with my hubby. Great selection. Prices were reasonable. Large indoor and outdoor patio. Different food trucks too! Local beers as well as Oregon beers!

Awesome beer selections and great music!

Service was great! Food trucks gave us lots of options. Plenty of room/seating inside and out. Fun experience. We will be back!

Some of the best service I have had considering it's not a restaurant. The food here was done fast and is really yummy

Food trucks were diverse, they offer some ciders, and clean friendly atmosphere. I'm out of state but this would be my go-to spot.

An absolute gem! We…read morewere traveling through Grants Pass on a long road trip and stopped at Wild River, and we are so glad we did! This ended up being one of those unexpected places that you remember long after the trip is over. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. The beer was fantastic , the pizzas were delicious , and the salad was unbelievably fresh and crisp with an amazing homemade dressing. You could genuinely taste the freshness and care that went into the food. We also really appreciated the blackboard displaying the IBU and ABV for the beers. Such a simple but incredibly helpful touch! It made it easy to compare the different beers and know exactly what we were ordering, which we really enjoyed. But what truly made this experience special wasn't just the food or beer. It was the people and the genuine hospitality. Our server was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond with our children. They wanted chocolate milk, which wasn't on the menu, and instead of simply saying they didn't have it, he made it especially for them. He topped their chocolate milk with whipped cream and a cherry and told us that he is a dad himself, and that's how he would make it for his own kids, so that's how he wanted to serve it to ours. That may seem like such a small thing, but to us, it said everything. It brought such a genuine human element to the experience. It didn't feel like it was simply about turning tables or making money. It felt like someone genuinely cared about making our children smile and making our family feel welcome. Those little moments of kindness and hospitality are becoming increasingly rare, and they deserve to be recognized. Our kids also loved the arcade , which was another wonderful touch and made the whole experience even more enjoyable for them. This is genuinely a place where families can come in, relax, eat great food, and feel welcome. Another moment that really stuck with us happened when my husband was walking to the restroom and noticed a chocolate cake being prepared near the kitchen. He asked if it was homemade, and they told him that it absolutely was. That's when we learned that everything there is made from scratch. Suddenly, it made perfect sense why everything tasted so fresh and good. From the pizzas and salad dressing to the desserts, there is something special about food that is made from scratch and from the heart. That kind of pride and care in what you're serving has become such a rarity, and we truly appreciated it. Wild River gave us that wonderful local, family atmosphere that can be so hard to find when you're traveling and don't know the area. We walked in as a family passing through town and left genuinely impressed by not only what we ate and drank, but by how we were treated. Between the phenomenal beer, amazing pizza, incredibly fresh salad and homemade dressing, made-from-scratch food, thoughtful beer information, fun arcade for the kids, and truly wonderful service, this establishment deserves every one of these five stars. If you're ever traveling through Grants Pass or anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop at Wild River. Places that still put this much heart into their food and genuinely care about the people walking through their doors deserve to be supported. You really can't beat it. We will absolutely be stopping again whenever our travels bring us back through the area!

I've been to Wild River a handful of times over the last few years. Loved the pizza, onion rings…read moreand Caesar salads. But today, I wasn't very hungry and ordered the shrimp appetizer. I was told there would be five prawns in a butter sauce. However, what came were eight tiny shrimp -- maybe 1.5 inches each. The butter sauce, which also had lots of chopped tomatoes, pretty much covered the shrimp and then some. This makes sense because besides not being prawns, the shrimp was rubbery and tasteless. I don't understand why I wasn't told that there were no prawns today, to see if I wanted to order something else instead. In retrospect, I should have returned the dish but our server (Beau) was so nice that I just didn't have the heart to do so. I decided to get a to-go container, thinking, I dunno, maybe the butter sauce would season the shrimp and it would taste better in a few hours. I ended up leaving the shrimp behind instead. So, great service, very clean and nice folks. Just stick to pizza, folks. And don't order the shrimp appetizer.
