There is typically only 1 or 2 employees handling the entire space and since the drinks are all crafted, between waiting to get your order taken and then waiting for the drinks to arrive, you're looking at 15 to 20 minutes. For the first time of these visits, we made reservations for the now reservation only Sunday menu. Reservation was at 4 and you had to place your order at the time of making your reservation days ahead. We didnt get our meals until 445. While the menu and presentation were amazing, the taste was not there. Lobster was very overcooked and lacked flavor in the seasoning, prime rib cut was impressive at 16oz but was cooked perfect and thankfully was served with some type of horseradish cream. Now the bar.. it reminds me of the bars I grew up in back in Buffalo, it's just a small town watering hole and it might not be much to look at on the outside.. but it's on the inside where the magic happens. There's Oregon lottery machines, pool tables, dart boards and shuffleboard. The drinks are cheap and cold, the hospitality is heart warming and the food is delicious. Sean, the owner, greeted us and showed us where we could park. We had a couple of ice cold beers and a couple of great sandwiches, patty melt (pictured) and s grilled cheese. It was a little warm on the patio since it was 98 degrees outside, but they keep it relatively cool on this mostly enclosed patio. Our server was great. She was so friendly and fun to talk to. She helped us figure out what we wanted to order and checked in on us just the right amount. You can tell the food here is very fresh and homemade. We started with the Deviled Eggs, which are really special. I love how they serve them over a bed of crushed up potato chips as they give this dish some salty crunch. Next we had the Beet salad, which is marinated beets over a whipped cheese. The beets do have a strong vinegar flavor, but it's balanced out beautifully by the cheese.
