I had no idea a veterinarian experience could be so warm and welcoming. They treated us like family all the way to unfortunately the end of my dog Chico's life at 17 and a half years old. They were so compassionate and honest throughout the last years of Chico's life. I'm sure he lived longer because of the amazing care and personal treatment given to us. They help with his passing and gave me very heartfelt condolences when he passed away. I am so thankful for the way they treated both Chico and I! I will take every pet I am ever blessed to have to Bay Animal Hospital for the rest of my life as long as I live here. They left an impression on me I will never forget. One of the things was my one Boston's was bothering with her one ear. Called to get her in and they told me that would be a Urgent care appointment Ok so give me an appointment than I am told it is $30.00 more and they could not get me in for a week. So I am being charged more and have to wait a week WOW. The bill for them to tell me she had an ear infection with a test and medicine cost me $207.00. Another time took my Boston in to be fixed, she had just had her cycle and was just over it and did not bleed the whole day before or on the ride over there but when I was getting ready to eave her there she dropped ONE spot of blood on the table and was told because she did that it was ANOTHER $75.00. The list goes on so instead of calling me and discussing my issues on a survey that they sent me to fill out and answer honestly , they called and told me they were closing my account and I would have to take my dogs elsewhere. Well ya know what I am sure that there is another vet around that would love to take care of my dogs that would not come up with all these ridiculous added charges. So be very careful when you fill out THEIR survey because if you have complaints they don't want to hear them, they will just close your account. I am glad they did that, they are WAY overpriced anyways. Can't wait to hear their response on this survey and their lies to show they were in the right.

The staff has been so thoughtful and understanding and I am currently even wearing a pair of their scrubs. They really made me feel like they knew what I was going through and they wanted to help. I used to take my dog there and…read morethey would tell me these crazy diagnosis OVER THE PHONE (refused to see him but would diagnose him and scare me) but also tell Me they couldn't take him in and referred me to the emergency room. This happened multiple times and when I would it would cost hundreds of dollars and they would tell me it was minor issues the vet could have handled. When I was concerned about my dogs cough because he seemed to have kennel cough, they told me he didn't have the virus and that he had a heart problem and needed to be see right away but they told me to either take him somewhere else more specifically the ER or I would lose my dog. They told me my dog would die if I couldn't afford to take him in to an emergency room which costed me 400 dollars last time (also was told by those doctors it was a minor issue that could have been treated by my own vet). When they told me my dog would DIE I was in tears and started having a full blown anxiety attack but when I called a different vet they told me it wasn't as serious and they made an appointment for the next week. This has happened on 2-3 occasions and my dog is 2 1/2 years old. The customer service has always been negative and I can't even believe what they have put me and my dog through financially and emotionally. ALL I DID WAS HANG UP ON THEM WHEN I STARTED GETTING AN ANXIERT ATTACK- Now they treat me like a criminal and tell me to contact them through a lawyers because they gave me an unnecessary anxiety attack about my dog. I don't recommend this at all. If you have an emergency with your dog they don't carve out appointment times for that so they will always refer you somewhere else that's been my experience 100 percent.

It was like doggy day camp for my dog. They allowed me to take my dog into the back when he was boarded there and the animals stayed in large, spacious kennels. The boarding facilities were impeccably clean. They would also give my dog a bath before I would come pick him up. Our family dearly misses this vet; probably the only thing we miss about Caro.
