Within about an hour, she had been treated, safely recovered from anesthesia, and was ready to come home. That wasn't just a temporary fix either. She went on to live with me for years afterward, and I will always be grateful for what they did. I know there are negative reviews here, but my experience has been the complete opposite. Veterinary medicine involves triage, emergencies, and difficult situations that not everyone sees behind the scenes. When it truly mattered, this team delivered. The doctor is outstanding, and the staff have always treated us with professionalism and compassion. After my experience, I wouldn't trust another veterinarian within 100 miles with my animals. If you're looking for a veterinary team that puts your pet first when it really counts, this is the place I'd recommend.

They recently changed to appointment only which decreased wait times... we've never had a bad experience with doctors or nurses although our dogs often don't like needles or their nails trimmed ect... we visited so many times last year... and still they get SO EXCITED to see the staff every single time. Clearly, even my dogs feel their love and support. Unfortunately, we've moved and We have to leave them which I hate for me and my dogs since they're my babies and I love them feeling safe/ loved at a place that could be scary, but at the end of the day VCA Swartz Creek did so much good for us. Sooo I'm hoping this will bring them more business and more people can have a vet that has your pets best interest at heart. Go. Their prices are on the low side, the people are phenomenal, the facility is clean, even on their busiest days... we'd be in the lobby and a vet has come and sat while I cried (we thought my pup had cancer) and he loved on my dog). We got so much reassurance in a time when I genuinely thought I was going to lose the love of my life, my service animal, my reason to smile daily.... and they* made that happen and walked with us hand in hand every step of the way. You may have to wait a little bit longer but I would much rather pass the time alone in the room with my cat rather than have her carrier be sniffed by dogs. Dr. Brinker and the techs have great bedside manner and really listen to my concerns. I feel confident in the suggestions that she makes for the plan of care and when I had to leave my cat overnight I wasn't worried. That is another service they offer; if you cannot bring your pet at the scheduled appointment time then you can drop them off before you head to work and come pick them up before their office closes. It is not the cheapest vet in the area but the pricing is still reasonable and you really get what you pay for. I've only started coming here 2 months ago but I will happily return as a loyal customer.

Dr Kevin called ahead and got us right into the emergency clinic where Aurora had to spend the weekend. When we picked her up Monday morning we were told that Dr Kevin had called throughout the weekend checking on her. Now mind you we had just met him on Friday when we brought Aurora in. Just having him be that invested in the care of our girl was amazing, instead of just being a paycheck. I don't know anyone else who would do that, and being that we just met him! still just blows my mind! Since then we have been back every two weeks working on getting her insulin dosage right. Dr Kevin has been SO supportive and understanding as we get use to our new normal (living with canine diabetes). When we finally got it right, I swear doc was as happy as us and even so proud of us! We live 100 miles away and we will never go anywhere else for the care of our animals!! We feel extremely blessed to have Dr Kevin in our corner!
