Well, I listened to my wife (which you should always do anyway) and Dr. K has been absolutely fantastic beyond words! She is always very patient, asks questions, and is truly concerned for my well being. I'm now in my 40s and my teeth and gums are sensitive but she has found ways to make them better and not just by redoing fillings but by other non-invasive solutions. I hate going to the dentist because I have a track record of suffering through several cavities since I was a kid but she really has made it a much better experience overall. I should also mention her staff are very friendly and my cleanings go well every time. We have been so pleased with her that we started taking our two boys here as well. They used to go to Brazos Valley Pediatric Dentistry which has some great dentists there but others not so great, so it was hit or miss. Smiles n' More is consistently the best dentistry in town, no question!

I was new to the area, went because I had a cracked molar, I paid $800 to have a crown but then was…read moretortured. The temporary crown fit fine but for some reason the lab they use to create the real one couldn't get it right. I had to keep coming back and going through the painful process of getting my temp crown off and them exposing what was left of my tooth to something painful they put on it in order to make a mold and do another 3D scan of the tooth. They called me to come back in 3 times because the permanent crown wasn't fitting at all! By the 4th visit and the crown still didn't fit right the dentist was like we are going to make this fit he was gruff and rough. I ended up with a horrible red purple bruise in my mouth where I was painfully injected with Novocain. He ground down one of my teeth above the crown also while grinding down the crown. Needless to say it never fit right, has caused me nothing but pain and discomfort. Couldn't chew well on that side of my mouth and now about 3 years later it freaking fell off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I highly do not recommend going here. I have dental ptsd now and I have to find a new dentist to fix my painful missing crown tooth!

He recommended that my sister have an tooth removed and I encouraged her to get a second opinion. When she did, the said she needed crown. I am concerned about the quality of care he provides for people that don't know about dentistry.

She paused and allowed me to rest my jaw during the treatment and was continually asking if I was doing ok. I have a dental back ground and the dentist that did the filling the first time, just 3 months earlier, left a space between the teeth which packed with food every time I ate. I asked my sister to go see Dr. Rivers before she did what another dentist recommended, which was to have one of her teeth extracted. Dr. Rivers made a crown and put the finished crown in her mouth the same day.

After feeling dissatisfied with my last dentist's plans for my mouth, I found myself stuck. He was one of the few that did IV sedation in office. For awhile I just let it go, but then I started having tooth pain and as I was finally in a place to actually take better care of my teeth, I needed to do something about it. My sweetie recommended his dentist, Dr. Jim at Arents Family Dentistry. OMG, Dr. Jim is just plain awesome. He was warm, friendly, and very understanding about my phobia. After my initial exam, he drew up a treatment plan that actually focused on saving those teeth that could still be saved, not just taking them all out! I am over 40 years old and had never had a root canal or had a filling because I was so used to dentists just going with the pull and go option because it was cheaper (and admittedly, I couldn't afford much else at the time). With a combination of a Valium and nitrous oxide, Jim has not only done a root canal, but pulled four really bad back teeth that were broken off at the gum line. I did not feel a single drop of pain and the visits were all pleasant! My mom would have called it a miracle, and in some ways it has. Thanks to Jim's care and excellent skill, I'm looking forward to continuing to work on my mouth and one day have a smile I'm truly proud of!
