This is a update to my review. My first surgery with Dr Bacons was in 2021 for my gallbladder. She…read moresince has done two hernia repairs and weight loss surgery. All have been successful. She listens to the patient and follows up with necessary test to be sure that surgery is in fast needed. She has also done surgery on other family members. She has a heart of gold and we always feel like we are in good hands with her. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I visited Dr. Louise Bacon In May of last year to which we decided to proceed with my prolapse…read moresurgery. She knew that I was a spine patient of a neurosurgeon in town and I have had several surgeries on my spine, the last being June of last year. We scheduled the surgery for August 2024. Between my appointment in May and the procedure in August. Dr. Bacon never once reached out to me to check on how my spine surgery went and to just touch base and say everything. Okay? We're proceeding. Is that okay with you? Do you have any questions or concerns? I got nothing. The only person I spoke to was her surgical coordinator and that was it This was supposed to be an outpatient surgery. The day before the surgery which was on a Monday, I called the surgical coordinator just to ask them that it is indeed an outpatient surgery and to ask what time my ride should pick me up from the surgery center. In no way was I informed that it was nothing other than an outpatient procedure. And I wasn't explained how the surgery was going to be done and what position my body was going to be in, because these facts are important to me. Since I have had 16 prior surgeries leading up to hers. I thought it was strange that 3 months had gone by before my procedure and she never once touched base with me , like all the other doctors have. The day of the surgery I saw her briefly as she asked me to sign her release form. The next time I saw her was when I was being wheeled into the OR. Her words were " You do know that you're spending the night right?" Now how would I know that since it's an outpatient procedure and since she never bothered to call me, how was I supposed to know. Immediately I knew there was going to be a problem in that since I have been a pain patient for 10 years on pain management, all my doctors refer to my pain management doctor to make sure that the Post-op pain management equals what I was taking since I have a high tolerance. None of that was done. Subsequently, when they wheeled me into my room for the stay overnight immediately, the pain was surging and it continued to where I couldn't contain the excruciating waves of pain that were coming. I was screaming in pain for hours from 3:30 in the afternoon till 12:30 midnight. I beg them to call her. I beg them to get in touch with whoever the on-call doctor was to tell them what is happening. I was undermedicated post-op and the nurses stood there and watched me suffer, writhing In pain and they did nothing. They kept telling me we gave you pain medicine. And I explained to them that I have higher tolerance since I've been taking pain meds for 10 years. I begged them. Please get in touch with someone. This is excruciating. Again. They did nothing. They mocked me. They thought it was hysterical that I was in so much pain. One nurse even was taking a picture of me and threatened me with a straight jacket! Yes, straight jacket. An abdominal post-op surgery patient was threatened with a straight jacket. Finally her partner, the one who was on call shows up at 12:30 midnight strides in and looks at me and asks me' What seems to be the problem' So you mean to tell me for 9 hours an on-call doctor could not show up to a distressed patient's room? They kept lying and telling me that they called him when in fact they didn't or if they did he refused to show up. When he did show up he tried to make it sound like I was exaggerating the pain and then proceeds to tell me" You're lucky you're not my patient because you would just be discharged with Tylenol for pain!" Excuse me? In the middle of my distress this"Dr" is giving me his woke mentality regarding pain management... Another idiot I had to deal with. The surgery failed. It wasn't done properly and now I have other issues I didn't have before, I have no control over my bowels and if I eat anything I have to stay home because I have uncontrollable bowel movements. Movements, I have since lost 15 lb within the first month because either I eat and stay home or I don't eat to be able to do the things I need to do outside of the home. I have placed several calls to her office and she is hiding from me and not wanting to discuss anything because she knows she's guilty as sin. What kind of doctor jacks up a surgery and then refuses to speak with the patient after the surgery? Dr. Louise Bacon is that kind of doctor. It is now 5 months post-op and I have shriveled up to the thinnest I've ever been. Within hours of eating minimal food, I am on the toilet every 10 minutes. This has been a disastrous episode that has completely changed my life for the worse. I filed a complaint with the medical board against her for negligence and unconscionable behavior. I found out the position my body was basically an L shape to where My legs were up in the Air secured 2 hours that way. PLEASE DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS SURGEON, SHE HAS NO RESPECT FOR HER PATIENTS AND WILL BLOW YOU OFF IF SHE MAKES A MISTAKE! BEWARE! CHOOSE BETTER!! PLZ!

Once inside, the medical staff were very nice and comforting. They wne thru the procedure, and at multiple times went thru their check list. The operation was smooth, and the after care was fantastic. They wheeled me to my waiting chariot, and within 2 hours I was out at home resting.

I mean, its's now 10:17am. What a joke! I would never recommend this place to ANYONE!! - Enter a sweet angel lady in reception who finally rescued me and took me into surgery, I hate that I didn't get her name! ME AFTER COMPLETION OF MY PROCEDURES-- Best experience ever, Mary and Christie were exceptional nurses. They were so pleasant and fun. One minute I was laughing and joking with the staff about my non-existent veins, and the next I wake up and everything is done and I'm on my way out! I cannot stress enough to whoever is reading this that if you get past reception you are golden!! Smoothest procedure ever! Great doctor too! HiGHLY RECOMMEND! Took off one star for making me wait over an hour, everything else was exceptional.

Run! Don't walk...seriously!…read more Dr Heinrich messed up my upper lip with painful filler injections! At least they are not permanent. That's the only good thing I have to say here. During my long first appointment, in which he spent 90% of the time with small talk about baseball, I told him I was here to look into lip wrinkle filler injections. I didn't want big puffed up lips...just some filler in a couple of the deep wrinkles on my upper lip. He said he would only use a little of the $725 vial at each procedure over time. His sweet nurse said they save the unused filler in the vial (marked as mine) for future injections, as needed. But when he actually did my first procedure, he injected the WHOLE vial!! Both his nurse and I were surprised...and to this day I don't know why he did it. Maybe he didn't remember that he was only supposed to fill a couple of wrinkles with some, not all, of the vial. Maybe he forgot our conversation. Maybe he didn't read his notes prior to my procedure. Maybe he didn't even make notes of the process we had agreed on!! Maybe he hoped I'd just buy more!! Maybe he just didn't care. Whatever, I ended up with my upper lip all puffed up, and of course I complained about it...which resulted in me having to get multiple needles to REMOVE the filler. All of these injections were terribly painful. I did ask for, and get, a refund...because now I had nothing but pain for my money!!! But my lip still looks odd on one side as there is still some filler in it...here and there...not even evenly. I will have to wait around nine months for the remnants to dissolve. I would never go back to him again, even if it was for free!!!
