After asking what type of engagement ring setting(s) I was looking for, she said point-blank that the one I named was "not attractive". After explaining to her why I was interested in that setting, she basically ignored everything that I said and started showing me examples of styles that I had specifically stated I did not like. In February my husband took them an 1886 Morgan Silver Dollar for appraisal. It was in mint condition. They offered some amount around $175, but weren't really interested. I will say, the man who helped my husband was actually nice, so no complaints about him. Ultimately, we had it graded by P.C.G.S. After grading, it sold for $2100 at auction. For this reason, use this place as a second opinion, but do not allow them the privilege of being your only opinion. If you have the chance to go through a professional coin service, that is the better option. ----------- Today, I wanted to have one of my rings appraised. Again, the man answered the phone and was friendly. He told me to come in and they could look at it, but couldn't appraise for insurance purposes. When I actually got there I had the unfortunate experience of speaking with a woman. Co-owner perhaps? Who knows. In short, she looked at it and said they wouldn't be able to help because it's a Brilliant Earth Lab-Grown diamond. She was curt, short, and dismissive. Considering both experiences, this place must just be a money laundering scheme because there's no way that they're maintaining a legitimate business with this kind of behavior.

I went into the store and was greeted by Katilyn. I asked her for help in planning this surprise. We sat at one of the tables they have there and she helped me select the piece that I ended up buying and then she helped me plan out the surprise. I had brought in some jewelry that needed repair work so we planned the surprise to coincide with the the point in time when the repaired items were ready for pick up. It all came together as planned and my wife was so surprised, she did not expect it at all. I asked him for my $15 back, and he REFUSED because he said I did not have my receipt. Then, to make matters worse! ... on my Google 1-STAR Review of LIPPA's he lied, saying he "could not find my name anywhere in his computer system" ~ trying to make it appear as if I had the wrong Jewelry Store (funny... He never did ask for my name today; he simply stated without my yellow receipt, he would not REFUND ME $15 for dishonestly placing an EXPIRED 2020 WATCH BATTERY in my wrist watch) A THIEF is a THIEF (thieves always lie; they have, or they get caught) and a LIE is a LIE: a Tiger doesn't change their stripes, no matter how big, or small their kill is.
