This store and its staff is fantastic. I have been a customer of Perrywinkle's in the past but my latest visit was the best. I wanted to surprise my wife with a gift from Perrywinkle's. I went into the store and was greeted by Katilyn. I asked her for help in planning this surprise. We sat at one of the tables they have there and she helped me select the piece that I ended up buying and then she helped me plan out the surprise. I had brought in some jewelry that needed repair work so we planned the surprise to coincide with the the point in time when the repaired items were ready for pick up. It all came together as planned and my wife was so surprised, she did not expect it at all. On top of the staffs help with this, the store is amazing in its set up, look and feel as you enter it, the baby grand piano playing softly in the background, the overall ambiance of this place is something else. I have been a loyal customer and when I walked into the Burlington Branch, I was treated so disrespectfully by a sales associate. The sales associate was he was so rude when I entered, no greeting just what do you need and automatically judged me based off my looks. There is a customer bias in this particular location. I was there right at 10 when they opened and there were already customers inside behind locked doors. The other two customers were already inside and so loud chatting with a sales person. I thought it was weird the other two customers were locked in the store before they opened and with the doors locked. They were hanging out the whole time a really disruptive to all the customers shopping experience. I asked the rude sales person if there was a restroom and was scolded for doing so. sales associate practically shouted back at me "no there isn't a restroom, can't you see we are clearly under construction?!". I chose to no longer engage with this associate. I should have just left and taken my business elsewhere but I didn't I bought two sets of earrings from the only helpful employee super helpful employee in the store. I would give that one individual alone, 5 stars for the amazing service and hospitality that all Perrywinkle's employees should embody. It is clear if you do not fit a certain profile or look a certain way, then you will not be attended to or given any respect from the other sales associate in the Burlington location. My first purchase at Perrywinkles was a sparkly bow ring from their Pandora Collection. I wore it every day and got many compliments on it. Years later, a boyfriend bought me another ring from this collection, a silver sparkly heart ring. I also have a the sparkly pear shaped stud earrings too. I knew that someday I would want to own a real piece of jewelry there. Most recently my partner got my engagement ring at Perrywinkles. Winkle was very helpful with providing her expertise and suggestions. When the time came, I loved everything about my ring at least up until I started having issues with it. Customer service is key, nothing and no one is perfect but I believe good customer service is being able to recognize or understand an issue and be able to do the right thing, and make sure that your clients are walking away feeling happy, relieved, comfortable, or satisfied. Melissa was very communicative, listened well, educated me, advised and advocated for me when I was explaining my situation. I have shopped for Rolex and other watches in a variety of stores in Europe, Argentina, and of course this country. Although I have had very positive experiences by and large at other stores, I believe Perrywinkle's may be in a league of their own. I had been recommended Perrywinkles by a few people, and feel very lucky I decided to visit them first when looking to buy an engagement ring last year. I'm a 28 y/o male, and when I first walked in, looking to buy a ring, I had no idea about anything jewelry-related. It was pretty intimidating for someone like me to try and find the right ring (that your future wife will where the rest of her life). But I had the best experience with Perrywinkles and it could not have come out better. I worked with Carly right when I walked in. She was super patient with me and spent a lot of time educating me and showing me lots of options. Never once was she pushy or did I feel like I was being convinced to make a purchase. I spent about 4 months working with her to decide on the right ring. It ultimately was a combo of a custom ring that they had a previous mold of, but made specifically for what I wanted. At the end of the day I got a super reasonable price for what was a very unique ring with an absolutely stunning diamond. I went in with no knowledge at all of rings, and came out with a ring that was perfect, and one that people cannot stop talking about. She said yes, and we came back in to work with Carly on the wedding rings. My wife got exactly what she wanted and the process was yet again, really smooth and easy. When the rings came in, both of us felt a little different about the sizing (I realized how drasticly my fingers change in size over the course of the day). We were both able to get the rings resized with no hassle at all. And they rushed to get everything ready for the wedding in time. While we worked with Carly primarily, everyone at the store was so helpful and friendly. We didn't have a single bad experience when we were in there. The only advice I would give is that sometimes the Burlington store can be really busy during prime shopping hours. I recommend going at an off hour, or setting an appointment. You'll want the time to really work with them. All in all, I can't be thankful enough for the great service I got there. So upsetting that it has taken me months to be able to write this review. My ring was damaged, perhaps through the resizing process that Perrywinkle's had performed, and Nicole was far from helpful and comforting. She placed blame directly on me, when blame was not needed (or appropriate; I had not in fact been banging my ring against a hard surface.) I was looking for help; reassurance that my ring would be repaired as good as new, and they would treat my cherished piece with the same love and honor that I have. Needless to say, I did not leave my ring with Nicole. I pulled myself together for the sake of my young daughter that had accompanied me to the store and took my business elsewhere. I have never considered myself a "brand" type of person until I started receiving jewelry from Perrywinkles. The customer service here is the BEST I have ever recieved (especially from Emma)! The employees are always welcoming and never make you feel pressured into buying an item if you are not sure about it. I'm sorry but I CANNOT STOP gushing about this place. We had to get my engagement ring resized and it literally took two days. We ended up having to wait several days later to go pick it up because they got the work done too quickly. I wish that I could say that more often! It's unfortunate but I often have a difficult time being taken seriously because of my physical appearance. It comes with choosing to have a half-shaved head and bleach blonde/purple hair. During my experience here, I always felt like I was treated with the utmost respect from all of the staff and that they were truly happy to be helping my boyfriend and I. Surprisingly, I've never purchased anything from Perrywinkle's. I gave them 4 stars for fabulous customer service. I was on a road trip passing thru Burlington when my Pandora bracelet broke - I stopped into Perrywinkle's hoping they could either fix or replace it. Onsite they could do nothing (which is why I didn't given them 5-stars, as they could have elected this path), however, the owner (Winklette), seeing how unhappy I was stopped me from leaving and offered her help and accountability for getting it repaired. They ended up sending it out to Pandora (Pandora's customer service is terrible!!), but committed to keeping me posted and mailing it back. True to their word, when the bracelet came back to them, they mailed it overnight to me @ no cost to me. Considering I was passing thru town, had not purchased anything and lived in New York, that they took time to take care of me, took accountability and took on some expense was appreciated. I was recently gifted an older Seiko watch of my mother's which needed to be repaired and new links added to fit my wrist. I dropped the watch off months along with a watch that needed a battery replacement. I was given one ticket for both items. At the time of drop off I was told that the they may not have the links and parts in stock and it may need to be sent out and they could let me know when I pick up the battery. I pick it up, turn in my slip, and am quoted a 6-8 week turnaround time on the Seiko, potentially more. I said there was no rush but that I would like to be given advance notice when it was ready and required for pick up. A couple months go by and hadn't heard anything so I placed a call and was told that a repair shop employee was unavailable to give me an update but they would call me when it was complete; I ask for my information to be confirmed because I found it odd that I was not given any update. My phone number was in fact incorrect by one digit and it was updated. Weeks go by and I still haven't heard anything and place yet another call. I am told the same thing, that a repair shop employee was not available to speak with me. About a week a week ago I get a letter in the mail that my watch has been ready and this is now the final notice, which came as a complete surprise. The letter stated I had 30 days from the date of the letter or would be charged a $25 fee...there is no date on the letter. So I call, again, and speak to a sales woman and explain my confusion and frustration that I am being charged a fee without any knowledge. She states I have been called multiple times, and when asked what number she had called states back the incorrect number. Which I was told was fixed and clearly wasn't. I explain my letter had no date or reference number or any information and she says I can have until March 1 to pick up in store and they will waive the fee. She was incredibly rude and honestly, I wish I had written this post after that interaction. My mother and I went in store today to pick up the watch and we speak with a sales associate, Laura, who quickly apologized for previous frustrations and said that items for March hadn't yet gone to the vault and there would be no fee. Moments pass while she looks and she asks to verify my information and it becomes clear that no one has record of this watch or my information. They ask for a ticket which I explain was turned in when I picked up my watch with the new battery. They keep looking and my mother asks about the vault, ways information is tracked, is there a shipping receipts, etc - any way to track inventory and the location of my watch. Two other associates start to look, they ask if my name was spelled wrong on the letter- all trying to troubleshoot where my watch it. We are told nothing is lost, it's simply not tracked in the computer until things are paid for. Having some where to be, and that 20+ minutes has now passed, my mother and I, already not confident in this experience leave our number and asked to be called when it is located. I received a call from Laura 30 minutes later saying that it was found and had been sent to the vault early and am quoted a price which includes the $25 fee. When I asked why, when we had just been told it would be waived she says she is unable to do so because it was vaulted. I restated my frustrations, specifically that they have continuously erred and been incommunicative and haphazard despite continually calling for information. While she listened, she simply continued to state that the fee stands and she can't do anything about that. And that I now must come in again tomorrow to pick it up or it will be vaulted...again. I am livid, and frankly distraught at the incredible lack of customer service. While the fee is frustrating, when I am being charged $175 for a repair, It's the principle of the matter and that this customer service would not stand anywhere and certainly shouldn't be acceptable at a fine jeweler; a business that associates with items that are of sentimental value. read more

I went into the store today to have the batteries replaced on a Philip Stein dual time zone watch. It was the first time I have been inside a business where I had to sign in and provide my phone number. Masks and hand sanitizer were available for customers who arrived without them. I handed over my watch and requested that the top zone be set to local time and the bottom zone be set two hours earlier. I walked around the store and looked at jewelry while the batteries were replaced. When the sales person handed my watch back to me and noted that the times had been set as I had requested - I asked to check out. He informed me that there would be no charge and thanked me for my patience. He also thanked me for coming into the store. I am by no means a frequent customer nor was I known to this sales person. Especially in a time when businesses are struggling to survive due to Covid -19 this was truly exceptional customer service and very much appreciated. read more

My boyfriend purchased a diamond ring from this establishment. It is just a standard princess cut diamond in a simple band, nothing else. Three days after it was purchased I wanted to return it to get a ring from a different store. I called Kaitlyn at the store and she said this was impossible because my ring was "custom made". This ring could not be more simple. Maybe the standard cut diamond was set in the standard band, other than that there is nothing custom about it. Also the owner or manager states she attempted to communicate with me offline. I don't want to say that didn't happen. I just know I did not get a call or a letter. Also if they wanted to reach me they could have done so on here... Honestly I don't believe it as they would have no idea who I am. I did not purchase the ring, I received it. So in my opinion, they are not great at customer service, or honesty, bad combo. read more
