All the workers seem very pleasant, with a bunch of support from family and friends. Salmon- great glaze with plenty of mashed potatoes and cooked- well asparagus Shrimp and mushroom Risotto - very tasty, but rice is a bit hard and crunchy. We asked about it and they said it's cooked like that . I prefer it to be the typical risotto texture, but good thing the flavor is great Parm fries - yummy, but it could've been a bit crispier Cocktails are great too. And heard the winery is still going to be around next door. I'll miss this place!

Nichole was sweet and mindful of the pace of each course and dish that came out. Chef Rich crafted some delicious and equally beautiful dishes, with highlights of the whiskey apple porkbelly, Lobster & Shrimp Linguine, and the Tuscan Porter house. Literally some of the bites i've had ALL YEAR. Ambiance is subtle and chill vibes with light rustic music, bar side vibes are fun while dining seating is spacious! I absolutely love supporting my local businesses and Vintner's Tavern deserves all the love and praise as they've deserved my highest mark of exceptional service, ambiance, and most importantly food and drinks.

The site was the former home to Mountain Vista Winery & Vineyards, Pierre Biane Winery, and California Bonded Winery #1, one of the oldest-standing California wineries. The facility has large stone walls, immense spaces, and lots of wine history from the Cucamonga Valley. There's plenty of parking (private lot and on street) and the buildings have some great architectural style. The tasting room is huge, with comfy living-room-style seating areas. There are also a couple tables outside. WINES: Lauren and Gabby poured for us. The service was very good, and they were both quite friendly. If I remember correctly, Gabby is the granddaughter of the owner. The one thing we really liked was that most of the fruit they source comes from local vineyards. At one time, the Cucamonga Valley had 40,000 contiguous acres of vineyards. That's mostly all gone now due to modern development. My wife and I decided to share two tastings so we could try several of the whites and all the reds. The wines are well made, and we found several that we really enjoyed, including the '22 Sauv. Blanc, '21 Chardonnay, '22 Zinfandel, and '23 Sangiovese. Bottle prices range $20 - $40. As I always state, wines can be very subjective based on your individual palate, so you should stop by and try them for yourselves. Had a nice experience and will be back for more of their wines.

Centro Basco is a remnant of when Basque people established sheep herding in the 19th to mid 20th…read morecentury, and then transitioned into dairy farming which have been converted to mega warehouses and residential subdivisions. However, Centro Basco still has its Jai Alai ball court & housing which may still be occupied by Basque workers. Centro Basco is big so beyond the main dining room & bar, there are the banquet room and the traditional long table communal hall typically found in Bakersfield, a major Basque center along with Boise, Idaho. We ordered a main and the Aitaxi or set up for $7 since it included Beef Tongue Escabeche which is a Basque signature dish. 1) Lukainka with Sauce Basquaise is a must get. Rough ground pork butt sausage seasoned with salt, black pepper, and garlic. Snappy skin and meaty texture are a pleasure to bite into. Sauce Basquaise on the side is tomato, garlic, olive oil, pimento, onion, white wine. 2) Oxtail Stew is slow braised for hours in red wine and tail bone supplying a fond de cuisine/broth, perfumed with touch of onions & carrots. Bone in the center, with soft, fibrous meat on the outer perimeter. A) Soup: Finely chopped carrots, trace of earthy, lentil flavoured chicken soup accompanied by sour dough bread. B) Beans in a mildly acidic red tomato sauce. C) Beef Tongue is boiled and soft marinated in oil & vinegar. Meaty yet bit fatty, the Escabeche style adds a flavour enhancing gastrique. Garnished with red tomato slices. D) Iceberg Lettuce Salad in oil & vinegar dressing is wilted with unremarkable processed, gummy white cheese slices. E) Spaghetti dressed with seems like a pedestrian, Salsa Bolognese/tomato meat sauce. F) Scalloped Potato: Slices of boiled, starchy potato colored with some yellow orange cheddar and baked in the oven that was like cafeteria food. 1-2a) Standard red wine varietal like a Syrah. 3) Monique's Gateau Basque: Suggested by our newbie server was a great choice. Two layers of a drier sponge cake sandwiching a thick layer of almond flavoured, gooey Crème Pâtisserie/pastry cream. Not cloyingly sweet like many typical American desserts. Down home food for the most part. Standouts were the Lukainka, Beef Tongue Escabeche, Monique's Gateau Basque, and Oxtail Stew for those really into beef where the meat nearest the bone is sweetest. With Basque restaurants in Socal disappearing such as "Jean's French Restaurant, a landmark in Colton, California, that closed after its French Basque owner, Jean Irola, passed away in April 2012." as well as Glendora Continental which is up for sale, it's important to patronize Centro Basco to recognize and preserve Basque culinary heritage. 3+/4- stars

We were first introduced to one another by the previous owners, Mary and Jim, during one of their events--little did we know those introductions would grow into lifelong friendships. Over the years, our Wednesday Wine Nights became a tradition we all cherished. When we learned that the shop was going up for sale, we were understandably nervous. We wondered what would happen if it didn't sell--where would we go? And if it did sell, what if the new owners changed the shop in ways we didn't love? What if we didn't connect with them the way we had with Mary and Jim, who had become family to us? Then it happened, the shop sold. We were introduced to Maria and Veronica, and it was truly love at first meeting. They are two of the kindest, most welcoming women, and they have brought fresh ideas and wonderful energy to the shop. Our Wednesday Wine Nights continue today, and we are grateful to have gained new friends in Maria, Veronica, and their families, who help run this warm, family-operated business. The Third Street Wine Shop remains a place where you are welcomed the moment you walk in--where the owners make you feel like you're their only guests. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasting, a glass, or a bottle of exceptional wine, paired with one of their beautiful charcuterie boards or other delicious snacks. And for those who prefer beer, they offer a great selection of local craft options as well. We hope to see you there soon!

The venue itself has a small nook area to the side so it was used as a back drop for photos and cheki (polaroid taking), a check in area to meet the idols and pick up our DIY bouquets for the event), some cushioned chairs and tables to the side, and lots of circular tables and seating inside for the group to sit down and work on our bouquets. There's random wine themed decor throughout the venue and 2 TVs where one was just the random wallpaper generated and the second one being the offkai theme image. There was chill music being played through the venue but unsure if this was through the tech of the venue or the speakers that the even organizer brought with them. When they spoke on mics, it was easy to hear them no matter where people sat. There's a restroom in the back and if your event needs food or catering or is an actual wine themed event, there's a counter in the back. It was a slightly colder day, but temperatures were controlled inside. There wasn't an option to extend the time there even though the next event wasn't until several hours (like 5 I think), so we had to move our gathering next door.

The server Misty was very good, amicable, and very patient with telling us the menu options. It's really not many good options but you can order food from next door restaurant Cocina Serrano. Also, they have charcuterie board if that's what you like with your wine. I would try here again to support another woman black owned establishment.
