All of my ex's attempts to wring me dry blew up back on her face. She kept excusing herself from the court to make phone calls to her associates familiar with the law only to return to agree to "my" terms. Made attempts to make me look bad, and accusations but I have strong evidence against her physical and verbal abusiveness, neurotic and erratic behavior and mannerisms. All the accusations were false or circumstantial and that won't fly in a court of law. Realizing from her own counsel she had backed herself against the wall and had no choice but to agree to every term of the MSA. The most surprising embarrassment and shame was during the explanation of the terms. The respondent actually requested my lawyer "Joy" and the judge to explain the terms as if she was a 5th grader??!! I wanted to burst out laughing but that wouldn't be appropriate in court. Most importantly, at the end of the signing of the judgement my ex (respondent) stated out loud in court in front of the judge that "If she had any friends that will be going through a divorce, she would recommend Joy's family law firm". Explicitly, stating that Joy and her associates are the BEST hands down EXCEPTIONAL!! Joy and her team made feel like family members helping me throughout the process and they are a God Send.
