My wedding band after being cleaned and my beautiful 3 stone ring

i had the misfortune to start the New Year losing the diamond from my engagement ring. Needless to say, I was extremely upset. My husband was determined to get me a new diamond or whole new ring. A friend suggested Argyle Jewelers. My husband met with Michelle who was extremely sympathetic to our situation and set out to help in any way she could. She and Joe showed my husband many different options including a beautiful 3 stone ring. At no time did Michell pressure us into making a choice and spent a great deal of time with us trying to make us happy. She was friendly and made us feel welcome from the time we entered the store. We selected the 3 stone ring. It's beautiful beyond my expectations and I couldn't be happier. We would definitely do business with Argyle again. Don't hesitate to shop at Argyle. You'll be happy if you do!

Argyle worked with me over a period of several months to create the dream engagement ring for my fiancee at a price that was within my budget. She wears it every day, and we recently went back to have them make our wedding bands. I won't go anywhere else for expensive jewelry like this, as they did a fantastic job and have earned my trust.

Joe made this gorgeous engagement ring that my boyfriend gave to me. Of course i said yes!

Choosing Argyle to make my girlfriend's engagement ring turned out to be a no brainer. I chose them based on the reviews and was not let down. I showed Joe some pictures of what I wanted and he made it a reality and at a price that i thought was very fair. He also managed to get it done quickly (without sacrificing quality) so that I had it in time to take on vacation to propose. It's an absolutely beautiful ring and she loves it!!

My husband and I highly recommend Argyle Jewelers! Joe is absolutely great to work with and his custom work is fantastic! He took my husbands grandmothers engagement ring and wedding band and turned them into such beautiful vintage modern pieces for me. They are stunning and we are so glad to have a family heirloom that we can continue to pass down for generations. We were also able to purchase wedding gifts for each other there because they have such a large and beautiful selection. If you are looking for a jeweler that provides excellent customer service, custom and quality work, large selection, and stunning jewelry, you will not be let down. We are so glad we chose to work with Argyle Jewelers throughout our wedding! Definitely stress free and not let down! We will certainly be back for future pieces! The staff is wonderful to work with and Joe takes pride in his work. Argyle jewelers will exceeded your expectations!

Stopped into Argyle Jewelers after researching places with positive reviews for jewelry repair. My boyfriend recently proposed to me with his mother's sapphire and diamond ring. It needed to be resized and cleaned up a bit and after reading so many positive reviews, I thought I'd give Argyle a try. I'm so happy that I did!!!! I called ahead of time to make sure that I didn't need an appointment to for resizing. Unfortunately, due to horrible traffic, I ended up arriving 10 minutes before closing on Mother's Day weekend. They still saw me and met with me. They consulted sizing, re-plating, and were so hospitable. They didn't rush me out the door at all! My ring was done 1.5 business days later and it didn't even look like the same ring!!! I was amazed! They told me that the re-plating would make it look different but when I picked it up I was stunned!!!! I'm over the moon with their work and so happy that I chose them! I will definitely be back and will recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you!

My "brand new" engagement and wedding ring that they fixed and polished

I'm obsessed with them now. I first went in there in December of 2019 for a Christmas gift for my mother in law. I bought her gold earrings which she wears all the time now. I also inquired about having my engagement ring (purchased in 3/2012) fixed because it was missing a diamond. I decided to wait until after the holidays. Then my bday came around 7/5 so I decided to purchase a pair of earrings. Joann was was so helpful and she showed me all the earrings that they had available for my budget and I also had my rings fixed. My rings look like they are brand now!!! I'm so obsessed with their helpfulness, their workmanship and their collection. Thank you again for your help! Can't wait to go back and purchase more jewelry for myself lol

I even had the one lady calling me every day trying to get me to go back in. I ended up going to Benny and had a request for a custom ring. Not only did he say he can do it but he said he could make it with a bigger stone and better metal for not much more then a competitor was selling it for. I gave him a down payment and he got started. Shortly after I got injured at work and fell short on cash. He aloud me to give him a small amount of money every pay check until it was paid off. I had one more payment to make on the ring then found out through a friend that my Gf didn't like the ring I was picking out. I asked Benny if I could change the order even though he had already got the diamond, mold and had even poured the metal to cast the ring. He looked at me and said "No problem" no questions asked and after all that work he let me cancel that order and I put the money I had already given him into buying a beautiful ring that he had in the shop and my Gf loves it! He is an honest and understanding man and I feel that he truly holds the buyers best interest as apposed to just trying to make a quick buck off people. Go to Benny!

My six year old came to me just before Mother's Day and expressed his desire to get mom a gift. Wanting him to take ownership over the experience rather than me just buying whatever i suggested we go shopping together and he asked could we make it a jewelry store. The great reviews lead us to Candy's on a quiet rainy afternoon. The only ones in the store he was made to feel like a king, asking all sorts of questions as kids his age do and wanting to more or less see everything. Candy was beyond patient and helpful, letting him see the pieces in the price range I'd mentioned and put them side by side so he could make his choice. In the end he picked out the necklace he like best and was thrilled that we walked out with it giftwrapped, bagged and ready to go for mommy. She of course loved it because it came from him and he now has a memory he'll always treasure. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

I was quoted a flat fee price, the shop sized my finger for the rings, when I received them they were too big! I was informed there was an additional fee to "re size" the rings. I also sold several rings with stones in them for scrap, Candys did not pop out the stones which I later found out reputable jewelers do, nor did I get itrmized bills of jewelry I sold her. Expensive lesson learned. My message here is know your jewelry and shop around.

Avoid Ralph at All Costs - Incompetent and Dishonest…read more I'm writing this from the courthouse where I've just filed a lawsuit against Ralph. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. I brought my father's watch to Ralph for a simple gasket replacement. It's a diving watch he wore while serving in the military, and I'm heading to Ukraine to serve myself--I wanted to wear the watch in his honor. I chose Ralph because of the many glowing reviews online. Big mistake. The first red flag was the overwhelming smell of marijuana in his shop. I dismissed it at the time, thinking maybe it helped him focus on delicate work. I couldn't have been more wrong. When I first brought the watch in, it was functioning well--just running about a minute slow each day. All I asked was for Ralph to replace two gaskets. We agreed on $200, which was all I could afford as I won't be working for the next six months during service in Ukraine. For such a basic job, it was a fair price. A day later, I called to ask if he could look into the cost of a new crystal. After not hearing back for a couple of days, I followed up--only to be told he had already replaced the crystal for $150 without my consent. When I told him I wouldn't have agreed to that, he flew into a rage, yelling about how he wasn't making enough on the job. It became clear to me he may have serious issues, possibly substance-related. When I finally went to pick up the watch, the bezel no longer turned. Ralph claimed I had damaged it myself, which I hadn't. Then I noticed the self-winding mechanism wasn't working. He insisted it was fine, despite clear evidence to the contrary. It was rubbing against the back plate. I stormed out taking my watch, but later returned, hoping he would take responsibility. After more yelling and resistance, he begrudgingly agreed to take another look. Weeks passed. My departure date for Ukraine got closer. Today, 2 days day before I leave, Ralph texts to say the watch is ready. I go in--and unbelievably, it's in worse condition than before. The winding mechanism is not working as it should. The bezel now turns, but it could easily be roomed with a thumbnail. I walked out refusing to pay. This time, he followed me outside, becoming aggressive. I told him I would see him in court. Later that day, I went to another, far more competent watch repair professional. He opened the case and immediately found the issue: the movement wasn't seated properly, and the retaining ring was missing. I know that was there when I gave it to him because I open the watch myself to see what gaskets were needed. Without it, the entire mechanism is unstable. If a replacement can be found, the watch might be salvageable. But it's an older model, and chances are slim. This isn't just a watch--it's a deeply sentimental piece of my family's history. And it's also quite valuable. Ralph, if you're reading this: You know exactly what happened. That retaining ring didn't vanish on its own. It's either still in your shop or you carelessly threw it away. I don't forget things like this, and I'm not letting it go. Ever. To anyone considering trusting him with something valuable: Don't. The reviews are misleading. My experience was a disaster, and now I'm left with a broken watch and a legal battle just days before leaving. Also, take a moment to read the negative reviews--those are the accurate ones. Many people have had experiences similar to mine. And look at his responses: full of excuses, never accountability. He clearly lacks the ability to take personal responsibility. Pathetic. Take a look at the photo I've attached. You can see at nine and 10 o'clock the space between the watch face and the case itself.
