It was easy to make an appointment for the same day or next day. Paige did my Shellac gel manicure and it lasted about three weeks, until I had it removed. The gel looked so good at 2.5 weeks and that's never happened to me because they always chip or start to crack and peel within one week. I told her I wanted a neutral colour so we took a few nail polishes and tested them out first. She is patient, knows what she's doing, and her work speaks for itself. She also did eyebrow waxing and the shape is perfect and it was quick. I usually get threading because I find I get great results in the shape but I don't like the threading feeling. I'm getting a pedicure now. I'm sitting on an Adirondack chair, looking out the window, the salon smells lovely, it's quiet, there's relaxing music on, staff is friendly and the service is good! I will always come to this salon when I'm visiting Ottawa!!

The staff were really great, extremely friendly, welcoming, professional and accommodating especially for her mother, who is in a wheelchair. First Nina cleansed my skin and did an analysis to determine which kind of facial would be best for me - on her advice, I chose the Ozygen facial. The facial was thorough, Nina was gentle and professional. Caryl Baker stores are not spas though, so you don't get the relaxing quiet that you would get at other spas, but the facial itself was very good. I will go back.
