Highly recommend Ariel Court. Location is great since right across from UCLA and super close to Westwood Village. The entire staff are very professional and friendly. Karla, manager, is absolutely Amazing! She is so sweet and personable. She goes above and beyond to help. My daughter moved in October 2025. Karla was instrumental in making the move-in go smoothly. Karla has been amazing to us since we moved in September 2024. We both moved in from out of state so everything was pretty hectic for us. My son, a UCLA graduate student who also works at UCLA, lived here for about a year (I was the guarantor) in a nice studio apartment, and he really enjoyed the experience. The staff is very attentive, and he liked the apartment and its amenities. Unfortunately, we moved him out this summer when he qualified for slightly less expensive graduate housing at UCLA, but we quickly discovered that was a terrible mistake. Recently, I reached out to the manager Karla Turner, who is just absolutely wonderful, and she facilitated my son moving back in to Ariel Court, where he will live until he completes his graduate program (and maybe longer if he ends up securing a full-time position at the university). The apartment building is right across the street from UCLA and is very pleasant and comfortable to live in. We feel fortunate that another studio apartment became available and wish we had never moved him out in the first place. read more

I loved living here! I was in a very spacious studio apartment and all of our amenities were very modern. It was so nice having a pool and jacuzzi downstairs and living so, so close to campus. Dayana is super friendly and she made the moving-in process very simple for us. The maintenance staff was fantastic as well. This building was always extremely clean and they were quick to fix anything that we asked for. Overall, I had a great experience here and I would highly recommend anyone to live here. read more

I wanted to view this property and showed up at around 1 only to sit outside waiting because no one was in the leasing office. Doors were open to enter building, there were no "we'll be back signs"...... if you're going to leave or close, the least you could do it put a sign so people aren't outside waiting. read more

Avoid Decron Properties at all costs!!! I was a resident of their Ariel Court building this summer (2019) and it was and continues to be the worst rental experience I have ever had. Firstly, the company has several fraudulent claims on their website, such as the "state of the art" gym (which when you move in they'll reveal that the equipment is so old that it doesn't event work). Secondly, the property manager, Dayana Barragan is truly incompetent and Decron could not be less professional. Dayana processed a debt claim against me despite never informing me of my final move out balance. This gross oversight in Dayana's part has resulted in a ding to my credit score. She unsurprisingly has not been able to resolve the issue (since she couldn't even get my new address correct despite having it spelt out in our email correspondence). I have reported Decron to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau but am writing this review in case anyone is considering renting with Decron. I would highly recommend avoiding this company altogether because it can only end poorly. They are a complete fraud. I am happy to verify any of this info as knowing Decron they will try to absolve themselves of any blame. If you are interested in the details continue reading: Upon moving out I was asked for my new address to receive the final statement balance to pay off any remaining amount. Dayana sent the balance to an incorrect address despite my email correspondence with her clearly stating the new address. It took a month of back and forth emails with Dayana to clear this up. I never received an official copy of the final statement but was finally emailed me a copy. They had thrown in several extra charges like an apt painting even though I lived there for two months and the apt was not painted when I moved in. After disputing these charges with Dayana she said that she would check and get back to me with a final amount. I never heard back from Dayana. Months later I receive a notice from my bank that Ariel Court has processed a debt claim against me (despite NEVER confirming what amount I owed). I have tried to speak to a representative from Decron for the last two months to no avail. The phone always goes to voicemail and you will only get a call back if you are interested in renting an apt. Dayana has tried to say that she is not to blame although I have the entire email correspondence as record of her many mistakes. I even sent a check per Dayana's request only for her to say that actually she was unable to clear the "debt". Truly a nightmare of a person and firm to deal with. Avoid this scam of a management company. read more

I was happy to have my daughter, a UCLA senior, in such a safe, clean and convenient location. Since she was right across the street she could easily participate in school activities. With roommates, her expenses were no more than friends that lived blocks away. Her apartment had just been completely remolded with an all new kitchen, new floors and paint and had a balcony overlooking the school. Online repair service took care of any concerns quickly. Online billing was very helpful. The office manager Dayana was always pleasant, welcoming and helpful. We'll miss Ariel Court Go Bruins! read more

Great living experience. Land-lady is very nice and friendly, offers candy & coffee to residents. Maintenance is fantastic, respond to all repair issues in a timely manner. Shout out to my man Jose who has repaired so much damage to our place. Parking is good, apartments are immaculate-everything has been renovated. Comes with dishwasher, microwave, oven, sink, & fireplace. Heated pool & jacuzzi in back of the complex. Fitness room is nice, includes tv, mirror, sauna, shower, & two bathrooms. Do not - DO NOT - even think of applying at this lousy apartment. I am an international student. I had lived and studied in the San Francisco Bay Area for three years before July 2014. I am transferring to UCLA in Fall 2014, and I applied for renting an apartment in Ariel Court online in June 2014. I submitted all the usual financial supporting documents and paid a $300 reservation fee for an apartment. That's when the nightmare began ...... - They required me to notarize my signature on the application form. I did, and then ... - they required me to put in 12 - yes, twelve - months' rental in my account. I did, and then ... - they required me to put in more money because that amount would only cover my 12 months' rent but not the living expenses! Boy, they were surely tougher than UCLA! Also ... - they required me to put in TWO months' deposit. Also ... - they required me to physically move into the apartment on the same day that the rental contract began. I told them I was willing to pay my rent on that day, but I could only move in a week later. They said no, it had to be the same day. Amazing, isn't it? - For the next few days, I called them, left a message and my contact info TEN times. SILENT. Zilch. No response. I wrote them an email complaining about the case and asking them to refund my $300 reservation fee. Zero response, of course. What appalling service. Fortunately, later I successfully applied for another apartment of a higher grade and in a better location. The whole process, also totally online, was done smoothly and professionally. I told my current estate managers and the managers at my previous apartment in the SF Bay Area about my experience with Ariel Court. They both found it unbelievable and mind-boggling. 90% of the time your phone call will not be answered and don't bother to leave a message because you will not get called back. Maintaining takes centuries to response. Finally I decided to leave a review here because today they left a message at my door saying they are gonna wash the parking lot TOMORROW, and they are gonna tow away any car that remains there next morning. I just wanna ask WHAT IF I'm out of town say traveling this week. Do I get an email notice? No. Do I get an text message? No. So this is how residents are treated. I just wanna see how many cars are towed away tomorrow. And we paused to park here. If you drove us away you should also give us a refund on that. Three stars is generous, just because there are much worse apartments. read more

Don't stay at Ariel court!!! I can give you tons of reasons why this is the last place you want to stay. 1.I have lived here for 8 months.I experience 3 times of water coming out from bath tub and toilet !!!! Nasty water was all over the floor,8 times of Water faucet clot in the kitchen which they came fixing it over and over again and it never get better.They only fix the problem in front of them and it never sustainable.There is one time that water came out from the kitchen non-stop and they came at 10pm trying to fix it and giving me an excuse that this is normal for an old building.The manager even told me" So next time,Don't stay in the first floor".It almost became fault that I made a wrong choice picking an apartment without realizing this common problem. 2.90% of the time the phone has no answer and 50% of their working our ,the office is close.They didn't even leave any sign until I tell them that they should.It seems so hard for them to organized thing like educated people should.The only time they will be easy to get in touch is when they want you to sign the contract.After that,Good luck!!! 3.The elevator broke last year and it took 3 months instead of 2 weeks like they told us.I remember when the manager said"Sorry,I know two week is forever...".Yeah...It was 3 months!! 4.There was one time I took two trash bags to the chute and I dumped only one trash bag.Another one I left it in the chute room.It was my bad that I forgot.But they took the trash bag all the way from the chute to my front door and leave it there with big well-printed sign "Please don't throw trash that too large in the chute and there should be no trash bag in a chute closet." very impressive!!! 5.During summer,they had over 3 managers come and goes.None of them know how to do stuff and one of them lost my check and thought I didn't pay rent.Took them a week to find it.Great!! please don't stay there!!! read more
