In 2010 I was named Guardian of a brother and sister that had been warehoused in a Skilled Nursing Facility, but should not have been there. I moved them to an Assisted Living Facility in Carson City and they forced me to choose a Doctor for them. I was given two choices and I picked well as I hired Dr. Robert Fliegler. Dr. Fliegler cared for them, but worked with me devising a plan to move the "Wards" home with 24 hour care. The quality of life and improvement of their cognitive abilities were dumb founding and a major credit must go to Dr. Fliegler in encouraging the move, training of staff, and making regular visits including coming to all parties so he could see how my "Wards" were really doing. The family, the staff, and especially me can't compliment Dr. Fliegler enough for his care. I then hired Dr. Fliegler to be my physician after a major medical issue. I still use Dr. Fliegler even though I live 500 miles from him as he is just a text or phone call away. Dr. Fliegler has seen me through so much and now I am the healthiest I have been in the last 25 years. I have been with Dr. Fliegler since 2010. After Dr. Fliegler helped me, I hired him to take care of my wife who had just gone through cancer surgery and had a stroke during the surgery. I said it at her memorial and I say it here, that Dr. Fliegler added years of quality life to her in spite of indecision by her two oncologist that would have allowed her to pass the first year. The incredible part of Dr. Fliegler is that the specialist look upon him as their equal, their resource, and he is always part of the conversation whether it be cancer, renal failure, heart issues, or whatever.

Dr. Fliegler goes out of his way to get testing, scans and/or treatments done respectfully quick. I could never go back to waiting months to be seen and then feeling like a number on a board that doctors spend a few minutes on and then moving on to the next patient. Dr. Nathan Ho saved my life…read more A few months back, I returned from a 4-day hike in Iceland (Laugavegur Trail) and proceeded to my previously-scheduled appointment with Dr. Ho. Coincidentally, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law are patients of Dr. Ho. My appointment was made through a referral from my primary care provider (Dr. Dustin Riley) after I was kicked out of a Renown Reno Cardiology appointment thanks to a mutual service fee "pissing match" with my United Health Care service provider. And in hindsight, thank God they did. I had a minor heart attack in 2014 and had previously self reported to my previous Cardiologists (starting at John Muir in Walnut Creek) about "chest tightness" during exercise and was advised that this was not unexpected and that I should continue to monitor my symptoms. All during that time, I made regular appointments including taking the associated stress tests and continued to self-report any symptoms. I informed Dr. Ho about this and added that the strenuous Iceland hike had exacerbated my chest tightness during those 4 days. Dr. Ho expressed concern about this and strongly suggested I take an angiogram and soon. I did so a few weeks later, and figured it was all routine and right up to the time I recovered from the anesthesia after the procedure. Image my surprise when I was then told that I had 95% blockage in my "widow maker" artery. Triple Bypass surgery was scheduled within the week, which would have been sooner if it wasn't for the blood thinners I was taking. That operation went well, with the surgeon (Dr. Todd Chapman) emphasizing later that "he fixed me". So if it wasn't for this Cardiologist who picked up on something that previous professionals had not, I might not have been here to write this review. Thank You Dr. Ho.

I am an active 81 year old working man. For the past three years I have suffered lower back pain…read more In the most recent times, walking or standing were not an option after about five minutes. My legs would go numb and if I didn't have something to grab onto, I would drop to the ground. I discussed the problem with my cardiologist on Dec 15, 2022. He recommended and referred me to Dr. Rajamand. On Dec 16th, Dr. Rajamand's office staff ordered an MRI for me. The MRI was conducted on that same day and I was seen by Dr. Rajamand on Jan 17, 2023. On Feb 8, 2023, Dr. Rajamand performed back surgery and released me to go home that same day. I did not require any pain medication immediately after nor since then. The only short restriction I had was to be careful not to reopen the incision. Two months later I remain completely pain free and with no restrictions. Dr. Rajamand told me before surgery that he could fix my problem and he did fix my problem. It doesn't get any better than that. I highly recommend Dr. Rajamand and his staff.

An old jukebox, antique Coke machine (bottle type) and the decor is perfect from the 40s and 50s. Even the exam rooms have antique furniture. Of course Dr. Doyle knows his area of medicine. Bedside manor? He's the best neurologist that I've seen in the Carson area! ---------------- Bottom Line Lot's of parking, large waiting room, great personality and best part, he listens.
