It seemed that the girl who did my manicure never learned how to do it in a proper way. Instead of preparing my nails and cuticles for a gel color , she right away applied gel on my nails which was very unprofessional. Of course I didn't not like the result of this "manicure" , because the gel color was all over my skin and it had air bubbles under the gel. When I asked her to fix it, she gave me a look (like "what do you want from me??!" ) I ended up going to CVS pharmacy, where I had to buy gel nail polish remover. A rude and heavy handed woman with no creative or artistic vision or professional integrity. Instead of admitting to botching my color and trim--a harsh blotchy blue/black, instead of brown-- Kelena argued that she "did her job" and handed me to Tara to fix her handy work for an additional fee. If Kelena had "done her job" correctly, another appointment wouldn't have been necessary. Overall, It was a disastrous, overpriced experience. Do yourself a favor and don't ever go there. You won't make any friends on third only enemies.

We were getting married on a Sunday (10.13.13) and with the salon being closed that day, I was worried. She calmed my fears - she said she was able to do my hair and makeup plus the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and flower girls. We made a plan and put down a deposit. I went back to Moranda about a week before my wedding to get some color and highlights done. It came out perfectly. She is super friendly and chatty. The atmosphere of the salon is very laid back and friendly. On the day of the wedding, Moranda showed up at my sister's house with all the gear she needed - and 4 hours later, we all looked beautiful. She used airbrush makeup - and it last all day. Even after I ugly cried. My hair stayed curled until the end of the night, into the next morning! Everything was perfect. I absolutely plan to go back to have my hair done by Moranda again and again.
