I've been going here for about three years. Initially it was because I made the mistake of thinking I could cut my hair myself. I was wrong. They fixed me up and I've been going back ever since. I'm a little quirky and they're very accommodating. Friendly but busy. Don't mistake busy for being brushed off or employees being rude. There's always something going on there. They cover all age groups, kids, teens, adults, older adults. Even men go there if they want to look really good. A friend had her hair done there for her wedding and it was lovely. read more

Casey is the best, her haircuts are literally perfect. she is so talented. she spends less time on my hair than any hair stylist I've ever been to, which I appreciate with my busy schedule, yet the cut is always perfect. she knows how to leave perfect alone, and the interior of the salon is gorgeous. I was in Hamilton for the weekend & in desperate need of a brow wax. There aren't very many places on the west side, so I asked my mom where to go. She suggested the Main Look & I wasn't disappointed. Don't go there expecting to be pampered or a relaxing waxing experience. You'll be waxed in the middle of the salon at the hair washing stations. Don't worry though, what it lacks in ambience, it makes up for in speed & price. $13 for a brow wax & it was quite literally the fastest ever (in & back at my car in 5 minutes). I probably won't be back since I live in Columbus, but at least now I know where to go in Hamilton if I have to. read more

Kym is excellent. She listens to what I want and checks in with me as she's cutting to make sure she's heading in the direction I want. She is also the best person I've ever met at eyebrow waxing. I have really stubborn brows and she is a pro with them. She and a co-owner manage the salon, and it is run professionally. Everyone there is pleasant and treats me well. I really enjoy this place, the ladies are sweet and friendly. I went for an eyebrow wax as I was super nervous the girl took quite a long time to do them and I got more nervous. She seemed inexperienced but I wasn't even mad how they turned out. I then went to get my nails done and they were very educated and told me about shellac, so I went ahead and went with that I loved it, only down fall my nails lasted less than a week. But I loved them. So definitely 4 stars from me. The other star would have been there if they would have answered the phone when I called like 4 times last week. read more

When I first got to the salon, my stylist Tara was not there. I waited and they got me a bottled water to drink. My first thought after seeing her come in with all her hair gear was that she was not a regular stylist. After she wet my hair and started to cut however, I knew that I had a complete rookie (she looked over 30). She even asked the stylist next to her for help. I sat there contemplating asking to see her license. I told her I wanted to keep the length, but she cut it way shorter, then proceeded to give me bangs. And I just went in for a trim! On my second visit, the other girls in the salon looked at me rudely and went in the back room. Tara waxed my eyebrows and trimmed my hair again. I had my hair highlighted months (4 months roughly) before at another salon and I asked her how it looked and she said fine. By the end of the cut, she told me that I "needed to get it colored" because it looked bad. She didn't offer to highlight it! And after all that, her styling skills suck! I left looking worse than I do in the morning when I roll out of bed! I had to call the salon where I had my highlighting done before and get in that day to get it fixed because I was leaving the next day for vacation. And before I could go there, I had to go home and restyle my hair. To make matters even worse, my eyebrows were red for days! They were finally starting to go down 10 days later. Not acceptable in my book, and I will not return! read more

To make a long story short, we were given in writing a price to do hair and make up for my daughters wedding and told 2 days before the wedding that the prices went up it had to be paid in full the next day and not the day of the wedding and were charged a lot more than quoted. Tried to go in and speak with the Owner, Kym but all she was concerned about is how she let her employee off work because my brother went into cardiac arrest the night before and died. How did this get brought up I will never know. It was a tough enough day already. She was rude and not kind at all. I paid $1603 dollars out of fear for her pulling the girls on my credit card. After the wedding, I tried to reach out Kym again and say I had added it all up and they over charged me over $300 and Kym said she would give me $100. I added up each thing and called back again and said they owe me more money back and I wanted it all and was told Kym would only give me a little over $200 back. I was just going to let this go, until Kym ran into my family member who she does not know but he was with me at an event at a Bowling Alley in town and she ran me down the road to him. What kind of a business owner does this? She didn't have the nerve to say it to me...Never again would I step foot in a place that treats people so poorly. Lesson learned. read more
