I'm not sure where to start except to just start! I met this company at the Buena Park Farmers market in the Sears parking lot! I came across this individual that goes by Teddy when I walked up to try their hummus and after trying their hummus I had a chance to find out what real Greek spreads yogurts kefir and honestly every single item that I tried I loved! Then I got to their yogurt OMG ski lol! They're yogurt is a kefir yogurt told sheep milk regardless of what it is and where it's from it's the best tasting smoothest yogurt I've ever had and putting it on top of fish or chicken or other dishes, incredible!! There's tzatziki sauce, garlic spread , roasted tomato with feta all chopped up together they're jalapeno and feta various different yogurts that are incredible! Especially passion fruit, mango, lemon, coconut lychee, cookies and cream, chocolate, cherry, vanilla, raspberry, strawberry! I mean where does it end? Then the attitude on this guy was incredible. Frankly he's very personable and people ask the price he tells the price and he says hey buy a couple of them I'll give you a little better deal!! He was frankly just very easy going and was very witty with every single client! Knowing a lot of them by name gave me a good feeling to know that he's been doing this a while other people have tried their products and return. He just knows how to work his clients! Very impressed with him and now I understand they'll be opening up a restaurant very soon. I believe in Torrance area I don't remember the exact location. But it's on his sign when you go to the Farmers market! Good job Teddy thank you for taking care of me and helping me with my sauces and food source! Keep up the great work

    Potentially addicting:)

It's perfectly made in heaven! It's too flawless, can't think of a word anymore. Came here today for the yogurt but never expected more than I can imagine. Aris has a booth in selected farmer's market and one of them is Crenshaw FM. I travelled this far to try everything Chef Tim can offer me. Chef Tim, I could hardly breathe now. He mixed and matched every item with cheeses, pita chips, olives, mediterrenean dips and spreads and sun-dried tomatoes, including Taramosalata, a white caviar dip. Now to the yogurt. GREEK FIG YOGURT made from sheep's milk, only 2% fat with no lactose. This became my number one yogurt. It's like ice cream, very thick, maybe triple-strained, drip-free.....awesome awesome awesome. Comparing to the market-famous Fage and Chobani greek yogurt, this does not have the after taste of pungency. Aris yogurt is very smooth, non-tarty, non-pungent and total goodness. They have wide selection of fruit yogurts and I tasted them all. Much thanks and gratefulness to Chef Tim for the great experience. He handed me bites and pieces of samples in between customers because he didn't want me to go..lol. I would pray that farm sheep animals will continue to produce milk. For the love of yogurt!!

In Mar and Apr 2015 they changed packaging and the new container is terrible. 3/5 tubs I bought this week have leaked.

This was our family's favorite yogurt and I bought a lot of it at Lazy Acres in Santa Barbara. In March and April 2015 the packaging changed and now they are a leaky mess. They leak sticky fermented yogurt all over your fridge. I dumped $40 worth of yogurt last week that was separated, leaking and bubbly (fermented). It was brand new, not expired. This has happened several times since the new packaging. Today I took pics at the store of the yogurt leaking all over the shelves. Most tubs were sitting in sticky messes. The store employee said they know about it. So why are they still putting the unsealed containers on the shelves??? Caution buying this product. The raspberry, blackberry, and strawberry seem to be the worst leakers.

Everything I try is wonderful. The white pumpkin yogurt is my favorite! I make it a habit to pick some up every week.

Ask the Community - Aris Natural Foods

What has happened to this company? Vicente Foods does not seem to have their yogurt any more and their phone number seems to have been disconnected. Please tell me they have not gone out of business!!!!

Bristol Farms still carries their yogurt.

Can someone please explain the new nutritional values? From 90cal serving to 230. from "milk" to cream and milk. is this a change in formula, or where the values previously incorrect? that is quite a difference.

They say it was mislabeled. Which it def was but it's been like that for years and they should have fixed it. Blew me away but it's full fat yogurt so makes sense. They definitely sold many more due to that.

Are you still using sheeps milk? The new label doesn't specify and says just "milk". This is concerning as I'm lactose intolerant.

Aris Natural Food using only Sheep's milk. Our customers are welcome to our facility to seeing how we produces our Yogurt. We bring 2 people from Greece who are specialist to produces straining Greek yogurt…

I don't see any information about whether the sheep are treated humanely. "Grade A Grass-fed," which is all it says on the website, means very little, and the fact that they don't talk at all about the animals makes me wonder. Does anyone know?

The owner is super nice and I have actually walked through the facilities before because I was concerned about sterilization and everything. From what I gather from the owner they do not harm the animals, I believe that was one of their biggest…

Is the sheep Greek yogurt grass fed and organic?

I just spoke with someone at the company. They are not certified organic, because, according to the person, they are a small, family-owned business and getting organic certification is very expensive. He did say that they haven't sprayed herbicides…

I went with a couple of friends for dinner- we were around the area and thought it was an opportune time to show them a place they weren't familiar with! I've been here since I was a kid, and though some things changed, alot hasn't! This was during a world cup game, so it was very lively at pub areas as they were broadcasting live. Everyone was so invested, from the patrons, chefs, servers, and even line cooks! Went to a stall selling the 'best corned beef sandwich' from Magee's kitchen. The servers and cook were super nice and the corned beef on display made my mouth water! It was very good, and paired with their blood orange soda, wasn't too heavy! It was a big enough sandwich that I took the other half home! I also got a cornbread muffin from Gumbo pot- which was good but a little dry. There's plenty of shade, though the area is mostly outdoors- lots of trees and buildings with covers and awnings. There's a fancy French market in there and plenty of eating options (though open hours vary). Come by this historic stop, walk through the Grove, and enjoy the hustle and bustle!

While I didn't have much luck finding organic produce, I discovered some incredible vendors that made the trip worthwhile. La Lemonade was outstanding! My nieces and I each ordered mixed lemonades, and my guava and mango combination was absolutely delicious. It was refreshing, flavorful, and one of the highlights of our visit. We also stopped at Hook Line for fresh-caught salmon. The owner was friendly, welcoming, and happy to share samples of his delicious spread along with cooking tips and recipe ideas. Excellent customer service and beautiful seafood. The chipotle beef tamale, chipotle chicken tamale, and the twisted potato were all delicious and definitely worth trying. The true star of the market, though, was Chaupain Bakery. Everything looked incredible, and it was difficult to narrow down our choices. We ended up with a guava cheese Danish, sticky bun, carrot cake, and cinnamon swirl. Every pastry was exceptional, and the owner's kindness and genuine hospitality made the experience even more memorable. I'd happily return just for the bakery. My only suggestion would be for Vicente Family Farms to ensure ALL customers are greeted and treated with the same level of courtesy, attention, and respect. I will be skipping that stand. Overall, although I didn't find the organic fruits and vegetables I was hoping for, the amazing food, pastries, seafood, and welcoming vendors far outweighed that disappointment. We had a wonderful afternoon, and there are several businesses here that I'll definitely return to support.

It only occupies a portion of the lot, so one can still park in the lot to minimize the distance for easy in/out. Currently it runs in the morning on Thursday, stopping around 1 pm, so good for a lunch stop. It DOES have a marvelous view of the ocean. There are two areas: the biggest one in the parking lot, and a smaller one on the George Freeth Way road (where we usually park our car in angled metered spots on non-farmer market days, of course). I would say it fits into the medium/small size farmer's market in LA (with Santa Monica being large and Marina del Rey being towards the smaller), with the typical produce like organic eggs and fruits (strawberries). The vendors seemed to specialize in one or two types of sales. It wasn't crowded at all, and there was opportunity to talk to the vendors without feeling like you were holding others up. There are plenty of variety of prepared food as well, with one of the bigger stands selling freshly popped kettle corn (with free samples!).
