This is probably the only Aritzia that has disappointed me the most. I've been shopping in Aritzia for the longest time, and I've been to multiple locations in both California and Canada. However, the sales associates in this store are by far the rudest people I've ever met in retail. For reference, I've worked multiple retail jobs and it's hard to believe that this store is still functioning. Whoever the manager is should try to train them better. However, an encounter with a specific employee really pushed me to write this review. For starters, I didn't know I wasn't allowed to take pictures because I didn't see any signs or anything, so I took picture of a superpuff (I wasn't even wearing it, I only took a picture of the jacket only) to ask my boyfriend which color looked best. I understand that Aritzia is a private business that reserves the right to refuse customers from taking pictures. However, one of the sales associates looked me up and down (I was in super bummy clothes), and rudely stated that pictures and videos weren't allowed. I wouldn't be writing a negative review if he hadn't been as rude as he was. He could have just let me know nicely and I would've just deleted it. Safe to say that I will never come back to this location, The other locations are far better. The customer service here is hit or miss at best. I had an exchange and the women helping me find new things was super helpful and nice. The employee at the register though was rude and impatient and told me she would order me a top I had gotten in a different size but didn't. A week later I'm wondering where it is and then realize she didn't order it and now it's sold out :( After reaching out to customer service I got a "I'll give the store your feedback". This place is horrible. They think everyone who comes in, especially if you're a woman of color, is there to steal. My best friend is a woman of color, today when we went into the store FOUR different associates asked to take her clothes to a fitting room within a span of 5 minutes of just browsing. My friend was very taken aback. My friend and I both worked in retail and we know that when a sales associate asks to take your clothing to a fitting room that means they think you'll run out of the front doors with it. It looks suspicious to them when you're walking around with a bunch of clothing so in a "fake sweet" way they HOUND you over and over again if they can get the clothing out of your hands. The moment my friend walked out of the fitting room, one of the blonde associates started PULLING THE CLOTHES FROM HER HANDS AND PULLING THEM TOWARDS THE REGISTER and my friend was NOT READY TO BUY THEM. I asked one of the associates why they're all so aggressive when it comes to this. She nervously said that this is just how they're trained. This store has extremely racist sales associates. Avoid this place and just go to Zara where everyone will let you shop in peace and it's not a bunch of Becky's and 24 year old Karen sales associates who think all women of color visiting the shop are trying to steal. They need to be more worried about themselves. Chances are the people who come in can afford it, NOT the people who work there. The fiancé and I went in as she loves Aritzia and we always find things we didn't think we needed but definitely did. We're always used to friendly customer service there, but the team there went completely above and beyond. We felt like we were royalty. Everyone was so incredibly sweet and attentive and nice. I don't believe we passed an employee who didn't greet us and asked how we were doing. One employee - Anna - in particular was amazing. She got us everything and anything we needed; checked in on us periodically; gave recommendations when appropriate; and just was overall the consulate professional. Hopefully there's an internal review process as this employee should receive major props and should teach the class on how to treat customers. Never buying from this store again! After going on the 22nd of november to buy a puffer jacket, the salesperson said they didn't have my size, but I could buy it form the store and they would deliver it to my house before my trip on the 2nd. After waiting for 10 days, I decided to all since I'm leaving tomorrow for my trip. I started a chat online to find out that not only they cancelled my purchase without letting me know, just like that, they don't give you a refund when they know it's their fault and their error. Now I as a customer that already paid have to be calling the store to get a refund or go to the location to get my money back. This is a disrespect to consumers. How can you sell something at the store to a customer, cancel the purchase with ZERO communication to your client that already payed 270 dollars and just say sorry! Go back to Start Aritzia! I honestly wish I could leave 0 stars. I usually justify purchasing Aritzia's expensive basics is because the fit is usually great. In the last few months I've had a basic 80$ tank top literally rip off my body. But I had worn it 3-4 times and chalked it up to a one-off quality issue. This Sunday I purchased a jump suit, wore it once for 2 hours before I had to change because someone in my work office let me know that I had a trail of thread hanging down my rear end. I was back in the store on Wednesday to get an even exchange. I was greeted with attitude by the manager who insinuated that I needed a bigger size by saying "yeah well I've never seen this before.. I can do a one time curtesy and exchange this. So do you want a size up". Lets be real here - that is NOT a curtesy. An even exchange is the LEAST you can do for a customer that's purchased a faulty product & the WORST thing you can do is insinuate that it's their fault because they need a bigger size. I understand that tags are were removed but considering that you can literally look up my account with my phone number and see that I've purchased thousands of dollars worth of clothes over the last few years and have RARELY even returned or exchanged items, maybe you should've treated me with more respect. It was my second time at this store ( glendale location) first time i left because the sales associates were very snobby and rude (ego) i decided to give it another try yesterday and same thing. Went in on 3/29/22 and was helped by a young blonde woman who was training a new associate. They did a wonderful job helping me find some pieces I wouldn't have normally looked at. Can't tell if they were pandering a bit too much with items that didn't flatter but never tried to talk me into something I didn't want. Overall a fun experience :) I will definitely be going back. As soon as I walk in the store the girl runs to the other girl and says to another "watch them" as if I was going to try to take something from the store. She after looked at me and says if I need anything in an extremely rude way. It made me very uncomfortable but I like the clothes so I ignored there comment. She always takes such great care of me, knowing that it is harder for me to shop in person, and always brings me things that she thinks will work for my body. Thankfully, the staff at this location are wayyy less pushy, as I was only approached one time to get a fitting room started. Very happy about that because I like to browse on my own and pick out my own items. Went to the fitting room, no mirror. Same like with the Americana location. :| Is this how every Aritzia is, cause that's pretty f*ed up. I'm not a fan of having to step out of the fitting room to look in one big mirror that all the other people trying on are looking at as well. Also there's like 4 workers all standing and waiting to ask you if you like the item you're trying on before you can even see it yourself. Get some individual mirrors in the fitting rooms, Aritzia. Didn't buy anything, once again. Pretty cheap fabric quality for a dress being sold for $90+ dollars. I had a great experience shopping here over the weekend. Courtney and Trinity helped me and I appreciated their care and honest feedback on the items I tried on. I felt like I was shopping with my girlfriends :) When I got the items home, I realized one had a small stain, and another item lost a button after my first wear. When I went back, it was super simple to switch the items out! I do agree with some of the other reviews, it would be nice to have mirrors in the fitting rooms. During my visit, I put on a shirt I didn't realize was sheer until I stepped out in the fitting communal area and realized my nips were out :/ Overall a very positive experience - I will definitely be back. My experience was really horrible. For some reason Ieshia was not in a good mood. She is very disrespectful loud and Obnoxious. She was highly irritated and extremely rude. Let me preface this by saying this is solely based on customer service. And, sadly, if I had written this review a week earlier, I would have given 5 stars. Last weekend, my mom and I had a mother-daughter shopping date. I'm preparing for a long trip to Italy and she wanted to buy me some cute clothes. We probably ended up spending upwards of $1200. The girl who was helping me was very helpful - running around to grab different sizes and making friendly conversation. The only item I didn't end up trying on ended up fitting weirdly when I got home, so I decided to go back this weekend to return it. I brought it back in the original bag I got it in and shopped around a little to do an exchange. When I got to the register, the girl at the front let me know that there was actually a big sale going on. Kind of annoying that I had just bought a bunch of stuff at full price, but she let me know that I could bring them back if I wanted to get a price match. I then went to meet my boyfriend who was shopping in another store, but he wasn't ready to leave yet so I decided to head back into Aritzia to see if there was anything else from their sale I wanted to get. I am a creature of habit and when I find things I like, I'll often buy multiples, so I considered doubling up on a few of the basics I got that I loved. When I went back in, the same girl who had helped me last weekend came up to me and said "Wow you're back again?" We had some small chit chat about my upcoming trip and then she left to go talk to a coworker. She made some hand motions and I could see that she mouthed something about me having bought a lot of stuff before. As I continued to browse around, she came up to me again and asked if she could take my bag for me up to the front "to make things easier for me while I shopped." I was a little confused, but said okay. As she walked back to the register, I saw her open the bag and look inside, digging through my things. Huh? I tried to brush it off and tell myself that I was just imagining things, but it was very clear that she thought I was trying to steal or was doing something shady. After some super awkward back and forths, I put down most of the things I was going to buy because I felt extremely uncomfortable. At one point, I even asked her if this was typical for them to take peoples bags as they shopped, to which she replied "Yep! Just so it's more convenient for you." Right.... I ended up trying a bodysuit on awkwardly even though I knew it wasn't my size because I felt weirdly pressured...like if I didn't buy something or try something on at this point, it would look bad? I don't even know. At this point, I just wanted to get out of the store, so I asked for my bag back and left. After leaving the store, I felt so embarrassed / weirded out / angry. At first I thought that maybe I was just the weird one and that it was all my imagination. I decided to go on Yelp and peruse some of the reviews for the store and lo and behold, there was another reviewer who had had a somewhat similar experience. Employee thought they were stealing, so they aggressively asked to "keep their bags at the front of the store". First of all, if this is a store policy, it should be listed in the store and implemented on ALL shoppers. But since it obviously is NOT, and instead is just a move that employees are taught to inconspicuously check if someone is stealing, I am wildly offended. I understand the need to be cautious when you're working retail...I used to work at Nordstrom back in high school. But if you're going to do it, try to be a little smarter about it and be sure that the people you're targeting are actually shady and not legit customers. The fact that I don't even have to scroll past more than 10 reviews on Yelp to see a similar situation from another customer is outrageous to me...and should be a clear sign to management and employees alike at this store that you need to do something about your customer service. I recently learned that Aritzia employees are commission-based...TBH part of me wants to take all the clothes I haven't worn from last weekend and return it all just to get my Pretty Woman revenge, but honestly, it's not worth my time to go back into this store...EVER again. read more

The customer service at this specific Aritzia is phenomenal! One of the managers specifically, Georgia, is incredible. I had an issue with a few pairs of shorts that ended up being a quality issue and Georgia was super helpful with expediting me new pairs to try. They ended up not working because like I said, it was a quality issue, (nothing they could fix in the store) and when I brought them back in, Georgia and another worker at the front were super helpful with offering me different options/trying to find me another pair of the same ones I had brought back in. Nothing worked so they gave me a full refund. They both were super helpful and apologetic about the quality issue with the items even though it was not their fault. Came in to return an online order. The associates there tried to tell me I was past my return window when I wasn't. Order placed in Feb (item was backordered). Item shipped April 13, was delivered April 20th. The day I came in to return was April 27th. They told me there's a 21 day return window and if it was shipped April 13th that's when the clock started on returns. Even with their logic, I would still be in my return window time. The girls that work there are truly minimum wage quality. Poor things can't do basic math to save their lives. The manager there, Angel, didn't even try to understand the situation but just said I could have store credit as a one time exception. I took the store credit just to get out of there but then immediately contacted customer service through the Aritzia website. They agreed I was within my return window and initiated a tender switch for me to credit my original form of payment. Do yourselves a favor and battle UPS or FedEx then trying to return to store. read more

I get to the register and they told me these pants should not have been on the floor in the first place Bc it was an item on hold for someone. So I waited 15 min for her to check to see if it was available to purchase. Then I came to buy it after she told me it had been returned and available to re buy, but the price was 100 more! I was so confused Bc there was a ticked price attached to it that was 100 dollars less, but she said that was wrong and wouldn't honor it. She has no social skills and the worst communication style I've encountered from a retail employee in my life. Been to Chanel stores with better customer service than this place. I came to return a pair of pants and a jacket that I bought from online because they were oversized and didn't fit well. The girl who helped me (straight, neck-length hair) gave me a return and...went to help another customer in the middle of my transaction?? So I don't normally leave reviews unless I feel strongly inclined to. I normally hate shopping in store at the century city Aritzia because the employees are normally condescending and make me uncomfortable. However, my most recent experience has changed my whole perception on this location. One of their senior stylists Anna who was kind enough to give me her undivided attention while I was shopping for my daughter. Due to her customer service, I ended up purchasing for all the girls in my life. Although I wasn't there to spend much, I appreciated Anna's drive to make sure I left happy and satisfied with my purchases. I will only be coming to shop with Anna for now on. Every single one of the girls were extremely helpful and pleasant, especially Kitty. Kitty went above and beyond to to find a pair of pants in my size which weren't available at their location; she ended up getting in touch with a store in Colorado that had those pants in my size and making it possible for them to ship to me in LA. My mom and I had such a great experience shopping at this store that this is our new favorite! We can't wait to come shop here again!
