I was looking for a rudder for my wakeboarding boat and called 3 California dealers, each of which had some excuse not to help. So I called out of state to Action WaterSports and Christian in service was very pleasant and said he could help me. He called the manufacturer in California, ordered the rudder, got it delivered within 3 days and had it shipped to me within 2 days. Less than a 1 week turnaround. What was even more impressive was that Christian called me to update me on my order status 3 different times. In my 10 years of experience owning a boat, it is a rare thing to find anyone at a boat dealership, other than a salesman that is trying to close a deal, that will call you back, let alone follow through in a timely manner. We rented two kayaks during Memorial Day weekend and there was plenty of selection available when we arrived about half hour after they opened. Life jackets are provided and included in the price. Tips: - Park I'm the North Ramp Lot but walk down to the marina, not the North Ramp! (we made that mistake) - We walked down and back but there is also a free shuttle available about every ten mins. Drivers work for tips. - The walk back up to the parking lots is quite steep and on a hot day after paddle boarding we regretted opting to walk about half way up - Two hours seems like the best amount of time to explore a good amount of the lake and paddle back to the marina without being too tired - Restrooms are available right next to the store front where you rent.

This resulted in 4 MPG reduction by my truck for the trip, but we SAVED over $2k by not renting a local boat from one of the marinas in Page. This X30 boat is far from new, but it runs very well, starting up perfectly every time. We used it to ski, surf (it has 2 ballasts), wakeboard, and also on a few longer runs to the marina and Rainbow Bridge. Tons of power, booming stereo, room for a few families at once, and a very large 60 gallon tank. Travis was very accommodating with our mid-week pick up and drop-off schedule, handled hitching up the trailer, and provided plenty of extras (ropes, boards, skis, 14 life jackets). I visited his shop and saw all of the other things he rents out - this guy knows his power toys. I will definitely rent from this company again.

For the money this was great. Boat had plenty of room for the 11 of us and all our stuff. Boat ran great, but it is a gas hog when pulling two tubes. ;-) We will rent from them in the future.
