The water was crowded with many different paddle boards, jet skies, boats pulling other water toys. If I return it will likely be on a weekday when school is back In session. Nice lake otherwise. Oh yeah, when I left at around noon, there was no parking down near the beach. That parking lot was packed full. There were cars parked on the side of the road all the way up where you turn into the street driving towards the Butcher Jones area. Appeared to be a LONG walk down too. The FULL signs were posted at the turn off.

We toured the lake, saw fossils on the Canyon Walls I didn't know existed, saw Big horn sheep and beautiful scenery. The food was really good with smoke portions, Dr. Sky finished the evening with a discussion on the Blue Moon, Venus, Jupiter and the elusive Space Station. A very enjoyable trip snd memories. I highly recommend this for a family, romantic evening or just an evening out.

I have rented Kayaks from Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch several times over the past few years and have…read morealways had great service and a wonderful experience. Reserving a spot and kayak is easy on the online website. Once you navigate down to the main road to the Guest Ranch, it can be a little confusing as they always have a roadblock as you progress towards the parking lot. Just proceed past the sign to the parking lot ahead. After parking, walk back towards the ranch and check in. Guest services will provide a wrist band as well as a parking pass to place on your dashboard. Once your reservation time is ready, you will be provided a quick orientation of the equipment, navigation of the river and where the staff will pick you up at the end of your float. The staff is always super helpful. Be sure to bring plenty of water and a carabiner to hook on your dry bag or backpack to the kayak. Even though the majority of the river is an easy float, there are some small rapids. You may accidentally flip the kayak if you get caught in a tough spot on the River. This will prevent you from losing your bag! I'm experienced and have flipped once or twice. Depending on the time of year and water flow, the float can take 2 or 3 hours. Beautiful views of the landscape, wildlife including various birds and the gorgeous wild horses! At the end of the float, the staff will load your kayaks and take you back to the Guest Ranch. In the main building, be sure to stop by the gift shop prior or after the float for souvenirs or in case you forgot supplies you may need. They have several items including sunscreen, water shoes, hats, shirts snd much more. I found prices to be reasonable. This is the perfect place to bring out of town visitors. They will love it.

I was able to pick up two kayaks today in my sedan with no roof rack and get out on the lake for a beautiful afternoon. The owner helped us pick out where to go and gave us some tips. Lower Salt allowed me to change my reservation because I was nervous about weather and even though they were short on staff they made sure someone was there on the day of pickup to help load my boats up and get us on the lake. Everyone I've worked with there has been friendly, informative and helpful. I will continue to rent my kayaks from them whenever I want to get out on the lakes or the Salt. He said it would need to be sent all the way to Havasu for repair. Which doesn't even make sense. Everyone looked at each other very confused because we didn't do anything that would have scraped it like they claim. I feel like somehow we were tricked when inspecting the propeller the first time (I wasn't present, my husband was). I would caution renting a boat here and be prepared to pay extra.

When we did arrive we went down to the place to inquire about renting a pontoon for 1-2 hours only to find out that they were under new management as well as all the pontoons were rented out for the day even though two large pontoons and four others were sitting docked at the place of business. I asked if we could rent them for an hour or two and their response was that they were rented already and were checked out for the day and the people who reserved them were not here as yet, but they that they have all day to check them out. I asked, but what if they don't show, their response was they will show and they have all day to check in. I replied, "Okay, well if I were you, I would change your number that appears online on Yelp, and on google maps as the number are incorrect. They agreed they were wrong and needed to be changed at a later date. I said, "Well, you might do more business if the numbers were corrected and I wouldn't have had to call wondering if you're open, closed, or wasted my trip out here and could have gone elsewhere to rent a pontoon." The new owners didn't seem to care what anyone was saying at this point and we left. The facts were that we went on the Lake Cruise ship and had a wonderful time on that which was $26 a person. Great deal of information was provided by the your company and the day was not lost to the other business whom I would be wary about renting from given the new ownership and how they do business. There were those same pontoons not rented docked when we took off at 12pm and the pontoons were still sitting there when we got back from the noon Cruise around the lake well worth it btw. Disappointing I might add that we couldn't have taken one of the 6 pontoons sitting there making no money for 1-2 hours and we even ate at the restaurant on-site and it was very busy but good food, hot, and worth eating there for lunch but it was a bit spendy $$ but food was good and delicious.

This X30 boat is far from new, but it runs very well, starting up perfectly every time. We used it to ski, surf (it has 2 ballasts), wakeboard, and also on a few longer runs to the marina and Rainbow Bridge. Tons of power, booming stereo, room for a few families at once, and a very large 60 gallon tank. Travis was very accommodating with our mid-week pick up and drop-off schedule, handled hitching up the trailer, and provided plenty of extras (ropes, boards, skis, 14 life jackets). I visited his shop and saw all of the other things he rents out - this guy knows his power toys. I will definitely rent from this company again.
