The installation went fine even though they told me last minute I was being charged more for the type of care I have. What I disapprove of is their willingness to help when something is wrong. I completely understand that this is their system and their devices but when something is out of the normal they tend to blame the customer rather than replace the device. I have gotten so many fails while driving them retest and it passes and they tell me that I'm doing something wrong. The device will fail if it's too cold!!! They warn you about "sitting it in the heat" during the summer months but it being too cold!? Oh and they don't tell you a fail is $50 which they are not willing to waive even if the initial blow is a fail and the next one is a pass. Or the device just stops working and malfunctions so you'll sit on the phone with technical support for hours just for them to tell you to call the office. No one at the office will return your call in a timely manner from Scottsdale and the Tempe off will put you off. I've missed work and school because of this device malfunctioning. They say things like "just bring it to the office" but what peace of mind is that when your car is 45 minutes from any office? They are supposed to have mobile techs that come out in a timely manner but that doesn't happen. And they act like sending a tech out is such an inconvenience to them when it's their devices. There needs to be better equipment or response time for issues with their devices or you'll definitely expect your livelihood to be impacted. If you can pay the lawyer extra to get you out of the interlock I highly recommend it if that is even a thing. Also be sure to call weird ssa AZDOT before scheduling your removal because you'll plan and schedule a removal just for them to tell you it's too early read more

Having an interlock device in your car is definitely not a great experience but this business made the entire process very simple and easy. All the employees are incredibly helpful and kind. They help you navigate the DUI process and answer any and all questions without judgment. They even went out of their way to squeeze me in without an appointment to get the device removed. The group of people running this place are so helpful, supportive and were there to guide me through every step along the way. in addition to having extremely affordable prices (which is rare in this situation), they also provide the best information regarding resources for traffic survival school, when to go to the DMV, what to ask certain places, etc. I would recommend Arizona Interlocks to ANYONE going through this grueling ordeal. I had the interlock device installed on my vehicle and is defective and will fail me at random and I get charged a 25.00 fee...the company denies their equipment is faulty and your lucky if you can get them on the phone to discuss. Hector is a very nice guy but the company needs to return phone calls and respond to customer issues...very bad customer service read more

WORST PLACE EVER Having to get an interlock is not fun and having to get an interlock for AN ADDITIONAL 18 MONTHS BECAUSE OF ARIZONA INTERLOCKS SERVICED BY HECTOR A., JACKIE, AND ANOTHER RUDE STAFF MEMBER, is even more upsetting. I have a medical condition which causes a high acidic level which resulted in failed readings below the .08 level. I got my dui in 2016 and have been in recovery since then so the level of frustration dealing with an interlock system that failed several times a month, drained the battery on my hybrid car and ZERO customer service was beyond frustrating. I was not able to drive my car for 6 months and called AZ INTERLOCKS several times( I think the total is 32, saved on my phone) one time I was able to speak to Hector who said it was my problem and wouldn't help then another time Jackie said no worries she would work with me after I was done taking care of an ill parent. So fast forward to Dec 2021. Again, AZ INTERLOCKS would not answer the phone or return voicemails, so I booked an online appt to remove the device. An hour before the appt they said they would not do this. I spoke to someone the night prior who said it was no problem, so I had my car towed to the location on Redfield. I was fed up with this place NOT returning voicemails or emails or ever answering their phone. I was very irritated but willing to pay the balance I owed of 140 even though my car had not been serviced and my interlock had not been reported to AZDOT when the interlock was first installed 5/2020. Walked in and was met with the rudest individual who says "stop right there I was instructed not to assist you per Hector." Okay. Then proceeds to tell me they do not have any responsibility to service people or answer the phone and they do not provide customer service to "drunks who drive drunk." Nightmare. Also, Hector and crew did not tell me that I needed to reinstall within 72 hours or I would start over. Either way they never reported me the first time. DO NOT GO HERE please if you need any interlock device ARIZONA INTERLOCK NO S is the only place to go in the Valley. read more
