I went early, so the wait time was like 10 minutes. Overall, the lady behind the window was easy to talk to and made my inquiry quick.

They take visa and MasterCard for credit cards and of course cash or money order. They don't take personalized checks. I parked in the street and walked up. I would highly recommend and apparently they are the cheapest in town to do fingerprinting. They are usually open only in the mornings so call ahead to check on the times

After several months of witnessing this unsafe behavior, I wondered what I could do about it. After all, the neighborhood has many young children. I penned an email to the department. An officer responded with a direct contact number. We spoke and they will be setting up a device to collect data. I'm impressed with the department understanding my concern and attempting to find a solution. Hopefully, enough data will be collected so the City may then place a protective measure in place.

Thanks to ADOT closing down I-10 and diverting ALL traffic off of the interstate and into the lovely metropolis that is Avondale/Tolleson, there was a major traffic issue all throughout this area. It took over 1 hour to get from Fairway drive to 75th avenue. Completely unacceptable. At the Van Buren & 99th intersection, I witnessed the following: Wrong way driving by multiple drivers The intersection was blocked by multiple cars, semi trucks, and even vehicle transport trucks. Wreckless driving by multiple people Multiple near collisions Sure enough there ended up being a minor fender bender in the far right lane. No visible damage to the vehicle and the drivers were not visibly injured. Here come the Avondale police...about 4 cars driving through the blocked and backed up intersection and also wrong way driving to get to this fender bender. Nothing was done about the clearly visible traffic issue. Not one driver was stopped, cited, or given a warning for wrong way driving or blocking a major intersection. This was outright unbelievable. Where I'm from, there are cities that will cite you $500+ for blocking intersections. This was unbelievable. They just ignored all these issues that were clearly visible and causing unsafe roads!

That's minuscule! The MAJOR issue, was "law enforcement" not knowing the LAW. Then the other officer telling her. 'You can't film inside of a store, that's where their rights end'..... so the question is. Y'all are recruiting officers, and putting them on the street to enforce laws they don't even know. Then a sergeant is called, and he thinks making someone uncomfortable is a crime... he should've gotten out, heard the statement, went to the ladies and said, "what they're doing is writhing their constitutional right" and walked off instead of in so many words telling the guy he's weird. Police chief also said, 'they're human and make mistakes' police can't make mistakes, when police make "mistakes" people die, people get hurt, not to mention, people can get wrongfully convicted. I follow things like this because I was lied on by the police in norfolk, Va. never was in trouble before that, but that taught me that no matter how well you do in life, police will harass you and trump up bogus charges just cause, so I have a distain for police in general, they violate our constitutional rights everyday, but we're suppose to follow the law. Fuck that. We need more auditors to show how much of a joke policing is

A big thank you to Officer J. Cruz for his professionalism, kindness, and quick action once he arrived. Although there was a delay, he apologized, took my concerns seriously, and handled the situation with care. I truly appreciate the way he treated me. One area that could be improved is the non-emergency call response. I tried to discreetly signal that I was in distress by asking for a pizza, but the call taker repeatedly told me I had the wrong number and didn't recognize that I might have been asking for help. While I understand not everyone is familiar with these types of distress signals, I hope the department considers additional training so staff can better identify callers who may be unable to speak openly. Thank you again, Officer J. Cruz, for your outstanding service. You definitely deserve a raise and a promotion for addressing the situation at hand, right away once you arrive.
