Took the neighbor kid here to get his vehicle released. The impound release office you leave a message and they will call you back within 48 hours. When they call back there is an appointment made. The lady was very kid to the young man. The lobby is a mini police museum with history and is interesting. Very quiet showing the cities age. After the pandemic it really took away a lot of businesses from the area. With three family members retiring from the police force it was fun to see a bit of history and the old chalk boards they used to use when taking information. We sure have come a long way. Anyone is welxome to tour the lobby. My husband actually ran a job here years ago when they added on offices. Even the walls were designed bullet proof.

Fingerprint services are conducted by volunteers. If you need fingerprints taken, the prices here are lower than the private companies that do the fingerprinting. They are super old school and use ink to print. When you arrive, walk farther into the lobby, and you will see the information window. Pay up for your service there, and then they will give you a number. The fingerprinting clerk will come out and help you. Most likely, you have to fill out a few things on the fingerprint card.

This place was mad and professional like I got those fingerprints live scanned by the school…read moreprofessionally done and I had to retake them so many times and now they're saying all that went to waste and I was in my class eight hours long and could not leave had to stay their station just for this place so I can get my licensing to tell me you know what your fingerprints are not even valid when they actually were they just wanted me to do even more additional steps to give them you know my fingerprints and I find that weird that I have to go to a police station and get my fingerprints professionally done cause I already got them professionally done at my school. I feel like this place is a waste of time and waste of money and I don't even get my money refunded. I'm so pissed. I'm not saying that I cannot get my fingerprints professionally done by another agency or by the cops, but I feel like they should've told me before I paid $72 and when they looked at my fingerprints, they should've told me that before I even paid because then I wouldn't have not purchased anything and could've saved my $72 for the professional fingerprints I mean, I could get my fingerprints done by again so they're clear but I feel like that's a waste of time and a waste of money because I feel like if I already got rejected I'll probably get rejected for my licensing so I just feel frustrated but next time in the future, I will have many fingerprints ready, but this was all an experience though just so extremely frustrated and disappointed, but I feel like everything happens for a reason, but will never come back :(

The staff here is great. They are very friendly and went out of their way to help me.read more

Plenty of eyewitnesses saw who did the damage and gave the name and location to where this person is to the officer... but again nothing was ever done, I plan to contact the Attorney General's office soon hoping for an actual resolution.

My Traumatizing Experience: Officer T. Fletcher and Lancelot Basden are on a power trip, using…read moreintimidation and acting really shady and being threatening. Officer Lancelot Basden tried to get me alone and talk to me away from lobby cameras to the area with no cameras outside after telling me to leave the lobby, I walked myself out and he followed me. Sargeant McCullough said he would send my complaint to his lieutenant on these officers and I can follow up Wednesday on the complaint. Sargeant McCullough stated that he would have let me see what I'm signing since we had permission from third party to read what I am signing. Then he said it's up to the police if I can see info, essentially they decided I can't read what I am signing. Officer T. Fletcher had initially had the entire page in front of me and when I sat down to read it, he grabbed a brochure page and suspiciously covered almost the entire page and teamed up against me with Officer Lancelot Basden and told me to leave the lobby which Sargeant McCullough seemed surprised or shocked to hear when I told him that the other officers told me to leave the lobby. The above named officers definitely treated me like a suspect or criminal when I was there to pick up a friend. They had zero reason to treat me this way and my friend had worse treatment but that's her story to tell. You can definitely see the lack of education and training, it almost seems like they are trained to use intimidation and threats saying my friend is going to go to jail then. They had me waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes after taking my ID to the back room, apparently they still needed to fingerprint my friend despite holding her since 7am and having held her for 5.75 hours. I was sitting in my car getting ready to leave after I was kicked out of the lobby and that's when the Sargeant came out to talk to me outside the building to get my side of my experience with these officers. Remember, officers will lie to you and threaten you but you can legally read what they want you to sign and not sign even if they try to bully and intimidate you. They don't have a law degree and aren't trained professionals. I'm willing to share my experience with a news station and encourage others to share their stories. When they tried to force me to sign without reading, there were 3 male officers and female that I was told was an officer assistant all gathered around me while getting closer to me and hovering, I feel unsafe. I'm willing to share my friends experience and what she told me while keeping her anonymous. I had never been to a police station nor had a similar situation ever and this was ridiculous, traumatizing, unacceptable.
