So I bought 50 min for $60 most recently and that suddenly expire for not coming. It's not as if I make an appt and don't show up. It's not like someone can't use the bed. I'm literally pre-paying and you're saying my money vanished. You literally take my money and bc I don't come frequently enough to cause skin cancer, my money somehow loses its value. The last package expired last week. $60 for 50 minutes (6 sessions) in the lowest level bed. Not only did my money just suddenly have no value when I went to buy a new package it was now $84 for 5 sessions. The front desk receptionist or tanologist said "well if you don't come we get to keep your money". Cmon Catherine. Gone are the days when your girls treated customers of 30 years with a smile and a morsel of respect. Left a message and asked Catherine the owner who is so nice in person to give me a call. How is that? She had a family emergency and took that day off because of it. It amazes me that some customers think the world revolves around them when, clearly, an owner is human, and sometimes needs the day for important family matters! I've been going to this salon since she became the owner and everything runs perfectly and it's because of Christine that it does! Additionally, years ago I used to go to a tanning salon in Holbrook that severely overcharged, never replaced bulbs, and didn't return customers' calls! Every room has the tanning essentials such as the goggles, stickies, deodorant, body sprays, etc. All you need to bring is some tanning lotion, which they sell in house at a reasonable price. The owner and her daughter are also always very friendly and helpful. You can tell they take pride in their salon, truly maintain their equipment, and keep everything nice and clean. Not to mention all her beds are brand new and strong, you will leave there with a nice tan and glow! The previous owner (Tropical rendezvous ) did always run specials and was on Groupon but he let his salon go to shit and never changed the bulbs. You get what you pay for. The new owner of Afterglow Tanning completely gutted the place and invested in everything new. She did a wonderful job and should be proud of herself. Go check them out, you won't be dissatisfied.

Kristen is extremely knowledge and explained different treatments that would help my skin type. I enjoy pampering facials but for my first visit I requested a result sort of facial which included the LED Light therapy and a peel. She made me aware of what would happen the next few days and let me know she was available if I had any questions or concerns. Within a day I noticed my cystic breakout that was apparent for over a month minimize. The peel left my skin looking brighter. Overall the experience and outcome of my visit was beyond expectations. When I got home I noticed there was no color/bronzer in the crease below my glutes on the back of my legs. I showered the next morning, hoping it would not be noticeable, but it was. After reviewing the company's policy to contact them "within 2 days of your original spray and we will gladly try and correct it or provide you with a store credit [valued at the tan you received] for a future service," I called in. I tried to explain my situation, but the owner was beyond rude and refused to believe that they did not spray me completely. I had taken photos to show proof, but she did not seem to care and did not adhere to the policy that she created. I will not return to her business.
