AZ Turf worked with us on not only replacing old turf but installing new turf in a home made golf cage. They pieced together grass that would work in that small of an area to cut our costs. After a couple scheduling issues they had a crew come down from Phoenix and both guys were awesome. They worked all day on the lawn and then golf cage. It turned out so beautifully. They did such an awesome job and they paid attention to every little detail. Very hard workers and I ended up being happy about the schedule changes so that this particular crew were the ones to install for us. Would use again and recommend AZ Turf. read more

I wanted to update my review based on a recent development. In preparation for the job, ATM dropped off a load of fill dirt to use as a base. Since very little was used we asked them to come back and remove the excess dirt from our driveway pad so we could access our garage. The workers were supposed to come between 3 and 5:00 but didn't show until 7:00 pm last night. My husband helped them shovel the dirt in to their trailer to help them get finished faster. What was very annoying was that this morning there were piles of dirt thrown onto our gravel lane, which is .25 miles long and shared with 4 other homes. It looks like the ATM crew may have overfilled their trailer and then, instead of asking us where they could dump it, just threw it out wherever they felt like. Today my husband went out to clean up all the dirt on the gravel lane and try to mix it with the desert soil so it doesn't look like brown dirt was dumped everywhere. I should have taken a picture. It doesn't affect the install of the lawn at all but just left a bad impression. read more

I've waited awhile to do this so that I could let my feelings of frustration pass, hoping now to write a fair review. Now that it is all over and done, I'd say that the job turned out fine, and I really like the way my backyard looks. But, there are things I'd like to make known to others considering using this company. I wish I'd done a better job of looking at reviews, because I see a few of the issues I had listed in others reviews. My biggest beef is the time it took to get this job done, about 9 months. A second issue was the confusing communication between Ana Lisa, who did the original estimate and is here is Tucson; James, a company rep who is up in Phx; and the 2 different crew leaders who worked on my job. I felt like a monkey in the middle. And several times I had to do the followup calling to find out where things stood, what the next steps were=poor customer service. A third issue was that I had to change the turf type from what I picked out originally because when the job finally got scheduled, the one I picked was out of stock. A final issue was the crew behaviors: leaf debris was blown into my water feature; rocks were not moved back to where they were found under a drain scupper, turf was not cut around the rocks, but simply put over the turf (because I pointed out that the rocks had been moved to lay turf); to not equally measuring from my back wall all the way across the yard so that there is now a 2 inch difference in the hedge line from one end to the other. So far the 'grass' looks great. I am watching to see if the seam lines where extra turf was laid stay together and that the color match remains true (because there was a second install to cover an area not measured originally). read more

14 months after installation, a work crew came to perform maintenance on the yard, free of charge. The guys performed a power broom service and cleaned the 14' x 45' area. They added additional filler material and cleaned everything up better than I left it for them. Beyond that, they trimmed some of the edges to make it have an even cleaner edge. This was a very detailed improvement for the crew to notice and perform. And also properly fixed my haphazard irrigation drip line patch job. Very impressed with the friendly service and attention to detail. Great investment! read more

The Arizona Turf Masters crew was as good as it gets. All the way from the initial assessment to the completion of the project was top notch. The crew was super hard working and very efficient. We had some minor complications a long the way and they adjust quickly with creative solutions. one of the biggest problems we had was that we had to fill our area with dirt to make it level. for that they had to build a retaining wall and a tree well around our citrus tree. I added some pictures so you can see how it was done. the result is great. we love it. highly recommended crew. you won't be sorry. read more

Some delays with the office on confirming a date for installation after a couple emails and calls. Shouldn't be the customer having to inquire each time. The business just seemed a bit unorganized and I almost cancelled. Once the installation was scheduled, the install process went very smooth. The workers acknowledged but didn't listen about 2 areas I indicated didn't need grass removal, because I was worried about them hitting the irrigation, but luckily the lines were good and no leaks. Other than the installers having to borrow power from my house to air-up their trailer tires, which was a little annoying, the guys knocked out the work. Hard workers completing a 30x12 pad in 1 day is amazing. I'm between 3 to 4 stars. I may update this review if the stitch line down the middle of the pad starts to reappear, but I'll get out there and comb the grass to see if that gets it all covered up again. Great competitive price. We'll see how quality and reliability are over the next few months. read more

I'm giving 5 stars to the install crew(s) that did all the work as they were always extremely courteous, professional, on time, and did a phenomenal job. I'm giving 3 stars to the customer service experience as there were significant delays and absences in updates and plans regarding getting some errors corrected. Overall, however, we're very happy with our purchase, the price was very fair for the high quality of work, product, and the warranty. We shopped around and gathered 3 separate estimates and AZ Turf Masters was the best, and the quickest with getting the install done. Once we decided to call, Jeri was very quick with initial response, the estimate, and she and Analisa were able to get our install scheduled quicker than expected. The installation went great, but had a couple of minor issues to work out. They were lacking in follow-up and follow through on some communication plans made over about a 3-day period but in the end, we arranged for me to meet the crew lead at my house and got it all worked out. read more

AZ Turf Masters did an amazing job in our back and side yards. Installed synthetic grass, a paver patio extension, a paver walkway, and laid rock.
