We needed window coverings for our condo, so we went thru the Costco program. Arjay's was the assigned business from Costco. From the first measurement and selection appointment thru installation the process was quick, and everyone one we interacted with was amazing. Greg was our initial contact to meet at our home. He was very helpful with design ideas and helped us select the shutters we chose and explained a variety of function options for our shutters. The condos in our complex are very close, so the suggestion of being able to adjust our shutters with the bottom half closed, but the top open was perfect. They manufacture their own shutters and the quality is amazing. It took about four week from order to install. The Installers Anthony & Marcos were amazing, very friendly and efficient. It only took 90 minutes to complete the install perfectly. We could not be more pleased and would not go any where else for window coverings read more

Slightly disappointed.... I had high hopes of buying plantation shutters from Arjay's who sells through Costco and is a distributor for Graber Shutters. Arjay's has pretty good customer reviews. But I have come across some things I don't like. 1) It was never suggested that I visit their show room where I might see more shudders than the two small panels the salesman brought to my home. Not sure why but if you work during the week, like most people, forget it, they are only open M-F 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. There used to be a time when business made it more convenient for customers more than for themselves. I think consumers have just become to use to lesser service and just accept what is offered. 2) Only 2 trim styles available. While this makes choosing one significantly easier, it lends for less style continuity of other baseboard, cabinet, door, and other trims in the room. Liking this to Henry Ford; you can choose your car in any color as long as it is BLACK! Another company I am looking at offered around 10. 3) I felt some apprehension from the salesperson on their ability to build a custom shutter for a door with a window. I know it can be done because the houses around me have them from other distributors/manufacturers. This really made me start to look for other possible distributors/manufacturers. Doesn't sound they have much experience in custom work or figuring out solutions. Maybe it is just may salesperson. 4) The killer! 100% down payment. Yup, you heard that right. No one I have ever dept with requires 100% down up front. Standard is 50% or cost of materials. I don't know if this is a Costco requirement and if it was different if I had initially gone straight to Arjay's or not. But that is a deal killer for me especially when handing over several or tens of thousands of dollars for a product you want see in maybe 2-3 months. Although not likely, I feel that I would be tempting fate for Arjay's to go out of business or file bankruptcy after handing over all of that. I would qualify for the honorable mention list of the Darwin Award's as Murphy (Murphy's Law) stands over me laughing. So I am keeping my options open with other distributors/manufacturers for my $12k purchase but still have not yet totally rejected Arjay's but that 100% deposit will have to be changed to 50%. read more

We have now used the Costco/Arjay's business three times for purchase and install of window treatments in our Scottsdale home. Each experience has been excellent. Angela, the designer, was wonderful. Her suggestions were great. She understood what we were looking for, and quickly came up with a good array of samples. I found the process of dealing with Arjays and Costco to be very easy. Products arrived in a timely fashion. Tony and Joshua came today to do a big install, the largest one we have done yet with Costco. They came on time, were very friendly, respectful and easy to work with. What more could we want? I would absolutely do this again for any future projects. read more

I ordered my blinds through Costco a year and a half ago, and I could not be more impressed with Arjay's. I have dealt with at least 5 of their installers since ordering, and every single one of them has been so kind and helpful. This is my favorite company I've worked with since moving into my home five years ago. I went through Costco for covers for 2 skylights. The entire process was flawless and everyone I encountered was very nice. I don't recall the name of the decorator who visited my house; however, Kyle did the measuring and Shawn did the installation. All 3 were so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. It was so nice to interact with 3 professionals. That type of service is hard to come by today. From the initial quote through installation, the team couldn't have been more prompt, honest, and overall friendly. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable about their products and helped us select window coverings that look astounding in our house and also to some of the differences each room and fixture type presented. Installation was excellent and the team made sure to clean up any dust created while installing,and gave a full walk through of each window upon completion. There were two tilt wands that were missing at install, but it was logged and I received a follow up call providing concise information on the remedy process. The tilt wands arrived sooner than expected and complete thorough communication was established the entire time. Poor installing will reflect poor ratings .. This outfit installs for Graber and Costco. The product itself is terrific. Was hoping I didn't have to complete the rest myself when ready, but we can't use mindless outfits that don't listen!! Even when the windows are reasonably square, your fitments are still fair to poor. Poor, given my instruction to the sales rep. JT, these tolerances should be 3/16 or 4/16 tighter. What a joke you guys are in listening and satisfying customers! Little attention to detail and not listening is apparent and very sad!!! The rest of the house and .. can't have your full block sun shades installed from Costco /ARJAY's unless one wants inferior to ordinary fitment work at best. They don't listen! read more

The two man installation team arrived on time and worked professionally and expeditiously to install shutters and blinds.
