I hadn't planned to have a photographer the day I was planning to propose. The plan was to take my now wife to Newport Beach early in the morning to propose as the sun rose. I figured it would be so early in the morning no photographer would be willing to get up that early. I was pleasantly surprised when James told me he would be honored to capture the early morning proposal. I was excited and nervous that day. James texted me at 5:00 am, I was already up and hadn't slept all night in anticipation of the big day. James let me know he was on his was on his way, texted me when he got to Newport Beach and was able to position himself where my wife couldn't see him but he could photograph us. It was absolutely magical, I played the guitar, got on one knee, overwhelmed with emotion, I asked she said yes. James captured the whole thing and when my wife said yes he came out of hiding and we began our photoshoot. The photos were amazing and his delivery time to get us what he captured was perfect. We booked him for our wedding 4 months later and the wedding pictures captured so much that my wife and I cherish each time we go over the pictures. To be honest - I'm so glad we were able to get Callaway Gable. Comparing their against any of our other prospective photographers... we really lucked out. The things they are able to do with their cameras is quite magical. They are very technically skilled but their creativity is insane.... Their dedication to the shot - They were always willing to do whatever it took to get the shot right. We were received warnings from security, dodged cars, and Brian repeatedly sat in a bush riddled with thorns to get the shot. Their shots - They did all the standard shots required of any wedding... and more. I wish I could see the world through their eyes. There were so many occasions where Brian or Allison would abruptly stop us and we'd break out into a spontaneous photo shoot. We didn't really understand the shots and placed our trust in them and damn... they created magic before our eyes. Just seeing the previews in their viewfinders completely blew us away. I knew they were good but these moments/shots really made me understand that these two were special. The photographers - At the end of the night, my new wife and I agreed that Allison & Brian are our new hashtag relationship goals. They function incredibly well as a duo but also seemed quite cute when together. We're very happy to have met them. Reliving our big day through their lenses was a surreal experience. Just a few days before the wedding, they were able to quickly come up with a schedule that worked for us despite our last-minute changes. Allison and Billye provided clear directions and elicited some chuckles to make us feel as relaxed as possible during the shoot and definitely got the best shots of us as a result! As if that wasn't amazing enough, they turned around our wedding photos within ONE week. Undoubtedly, this must have taken hours and hours of hard work and sleepless nights. We were in complete disbelief as we were expecting these to take a good couple weeks or even months! When we rushed home after dinner excitedly to run through these photographs, we were blown out of the water. Every shot they sent us captured a special moment-- our love story, the raw emotions of our family and friends, and the hard work devoted into the details of the wedding. We had a horrible experience with this place We went here…read morebecause we had gotten an offer for a good deal that included all digital photos When we got there, their gate wasn't working and with a 3 week old had to wait for over 2 hours for them to fix it While taking the photos we had people asking the photographer a million questions and they had to pause several times which made my baby very fussy When it came time to pay they said for 16 pictures we had to pay 1200$ Which was not what they originally advertised This place is a major scam The only reason I came here was the distance and the advertisement The pricing says digital photos included but its a lie. They will only give you the digital photos of the package you pick, if you pick a package with 4 photos you only get 4 digital not all photos If we knew we had to pay 1200$ for pictures we would have went back to the original place we always go to 500$ flat fee all photos included and much much cuter props You would think with the major inconvenience they would have accommodated Do not recommend Save your money and do your research There are soooo many other places with better pricing and props Response to you Margo, I was not referring to the 69$ or whatever you are even talking about I am referring to your regular prices online and how its presented and worded to pull people in, you guys are very unprofessional as very evident in your response Your manager did not call me until 11:30 and I was driving from Santa Clarita and it was too late for me to return back, your business issues are not any of my concern, thats your concern.
