(I realize this is a somewhat long review. However, after the negative reviews & poor writing I've seen on here, this one is worth your time.) I didn't even realize this little gem existed in Springdale until about a month ago. (Clearly I don't frequent Springdale much anymore.) Anyways, when I noticed the store I decided to check it out. I'm glad I did! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with polite professionalism, despite the store being packed. Moments later, I found myself diving into small talk with the staff. This continued for nearly an hour and they were happy to do so. Moving forward; I have since dropped my shotgun off to have a Cerakote and rail system job done. Pretty much, turn it into a complete show gun. (I only use it for skeet shooting.) Days later, my AR went down after shearing the buffer tube at the retaining pin. The part that retains the buffer retaining pin and spring. For the life of me I couldn't figure out the problem. After 6 years in the Army, a lot of shooting, both overseas and stateside, with combined years in law enforcement, I've never seen this happen. They were more than happy to help me diagnose and repair the problem myself, without trying to sell me a service or up charge/upgrade me on parts. As for other reviews trying to direct folks to Ozark Armory, I halfway believe they are generated or friends/family with staffers at that store. Don't get me wrong, they're a good bunch & before Arky, were my go to. With that said, ever since Ozark came under new ownership, their prices and newly found grouchy service, have me running the other direction. I'm very happy with the Arky store, their friendly staff, their products, their services, and their accurate and honest time estimates. I plan on giving them my business. They're everything Ozark Armory used to be and more. So far, so good! read more

I would put 5.5 stars but it won't let me. This place demolished the competition in every Aspect. Their shipping times are quick, the employees are even "quicker", and the shorter gentleman is a wizard and has knowledge of all things. All in all, the store has a great selection and the items for sale are pretty much endless. You need work on a gun? Easy, BOOM Gunsmithing. You need your gun a different color? Easy, BOOM Cerakote. You need a firearm ordered? BOOM, online orders that usually come in 3 days! Imagine this store as Willy Wonkas chocolate factory, but with firearms. And endless supply of goodies. 11/10 read more

They set up a ar 10 for with the scope blocking the halographic site the gun never left the store and they refused to take the scooe back because it had been mounted this was a 1800 dollar set up and they refused to make it right with never leaving the store so I took it to OZARK ARMORY and they made it right with me I recommend OZARK ARMORY for all gun purchases read more

Horrible, in a word. I bought a $650 pistol from Arky Armory and had it shipped to me since there was a delay in the background processing, inside the store, I had great service from the two people I dealt with, plus I did love that they had a dog inside. However, those things were very quickly forgotten as I called a couple days later, once the background check had been cleared, understand that my frustration, my "horrible" denotation for the store has nothing to do with the delay in background check, I understand that happens. No big deal. One would think that I would have been called when it cleared, they never called me but I called them a day after it had cleared, again one would think that upon my calling that they would have told me they got it shipped, nope. It took over a week for them to ship it. All the while, I called to check every day to ask, I guess they just liked the sound of my voice because they would say, "oh sorry, we'll get it sent tomorrow." Everything was setup with another gun shop as the receiver but he was the one who had to call the Armory never called him, he was only making the $25 receiver charge, I spent nigh on $800 after taxes and rounds and it took me and another gun shop owner calling this shop to get my pkg. shipped. They would rarely answer the phone, NEVER, not once was I called to let me know it had shipped or that my background check cleared, that they were contacted by the other shop, needless to say they weren't the kind of shop to call and make sure my purchase ever showed up! read more

Bought 2 sets of iron sights that they said would fit my gun. Took fun back with sites on the Gun and they said they had never seen that and the sites weren't right. I didn't have the receipt but had statement from credit card clearly showing their business name and charge for two sets. The guy wouldn't make it right or even try to work with me. SORRY BUSINESS, SORRY CUSTKMER SERVICE AND WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING FRLM THIS STORE!!! read more

i would like to give them 4-5 stars for the way they handled some mess ups on my wife's Dan Wesson, but their dishonesty in the end nullified any positive feedback. You can not run a business and cheat your customer in the end. Basically, some cerakote didn't hold up on the front of a revolver cylinder. They redid it and we tried again, same result. That apparently wasn't their fault. They said they got bad info from cerakote. They offered to redo it again or refund half of the money we initially paid (half of $100). We made the drive from Fort Smith and were told by their young employee that it was only $25. Abigail was out sick that day but the employee did call her and was told to only give us $25. That barely covered our trip up and back. But the extra $25 isn't the point. There is an underlying element of dishonesty in that shop. First it started with them losing the rear sight, saying they never had it, then finding it. Then charging us shipping for fixing the mess up on the cylinder, to cheating us out of half of what we were promised. read more

I was totally ripped off when I decided to try arky armory for an FFL transfer. Brownells shows them having a 30 dollar transfer fee. After all the paperwork is done, I find out that it's a 45 dollar per item transfer fee. do not let them tell you this is common practice. there are many other FFLs in NWA that charge 25 - 35 dollars for an FFL transfer and they only charge you once no matter how many items you have. Since arky armory is close to my house I have done business with them on a few occasions, when i went in to use their silencershop portal (which is gone now) i was literally ignored, I went in did what I had to do took about 10 minutes and walked out without a word being said to me. the few other times i have needed to go there and make a quick purchase so I didn't have to wait for an order to ship and the other reviewers must have got them on a good day because for the most part i didn't have anything good or bad to say they were just a local shop with prices on the high end but convenient. after today though I wont be going back, not only did the surprise price annoy me the employees didn't care that I was upset. read more

I purchased a gun here and my Background check came back denied. The refused to refund me the entire amount. They said the have a 15% restock fee. They not only don't have it posted on their wall or notated on the receipt for such fee( this is fraud). First, I have never been denied purchase of a firearm. I have no record of any kind. I served in the Army(Honorable discharge). They were rude and unprofessional. I have since purchased another firearm elsewhere. The NICS report I got back was for someone entirely different. It was not me. I hope the $33 they stole from me, is worth being reported to the Better Business Bureau. I will be taking them to small claims court for the remainder of my money. And I will be filing a complaint with the Springdale Police Department. I will never buy anything from this store nor do I recommend doing business with these people. Go to OZARK ARMORY!!! They are polite and professional and more knowledgeable. Arky Armory responded to my post then blocked me from a follow up comment. There was no sign posted anywhere stating all sales are final nor did the have anything posted about a 15% restock fee. They only did that after I informed them that what they are doing is fraud. Also, I did not give them any false information. And as they told me before, they only ran my name,dob and city I was born in. They didn't run my license number or ssn. read more

DO NOT do business with these guys. Spend your money literally anywhere else. I had heard bad stories about purchasing guns/ammo here and now I see why. Very clearly don't care about their customers. Put my name down on a tough gun to find quite awhile ago, finally got a call today that one had arrived so I left work early and drove 35 minutes to pick it up. When I arrived I was told that it had sold. They asked if I had put money down on the gun and I told them I was not instructed I needed to or I gladly would have. I asked why someone didn't tell me I needed to when I originally left my name or the second time I talked to them when they called this morning to tell me it arrived, their response was "I don't know". They obviously knew the gun would sell immediately and didn't care who got it. The salesman was also extremely rude and acted like he didn't care either way because it's clear he didn't. Why would they care, they get their money either way. Clearly extremely lazy, thoughtless, and don't care about their customers and that's not somewhere I want to support. Not even a courtesy call while I was driving for 35 minutes to say the gun was sold. Won't be getting one red cent from me and I'll be letting as many people possible know how these guys conduct "business". Only upside about this place is you might get lucky and find a tough gun to find because they clearly don't care that it goes to the customers who request it. Pathetic read more
